Pokemon Legends ZA is out!

Therefore, I have decided to make a thread for any nude or otherwise adult mods that are created for it.

Hopefully we will have more luck than we have had for Scarlet and Violet so far.

This might be the only way I can play it cause what I tried was not pulling me in. Emma's butt is way better than I'd expect from a modern Pokemon game though.

Now that I think about it, after the initial nude mod gets support for stuff like shoes, jackets and other acessories, I wonder if anyone would be interested in making other mods that could be used along with the nude mod?

 

Mainly things like acessories that would better fit a character bearing it all in the city (like tape), or even something funny like giant black censor bars.

 

I haven't played the game for that long yer, but I could even see potential for some 2D asset replacement mods for the shadier parts of the city.

Is it possible to get this working with other texture mods? It has 1 file in common with the HD texture mod (arc/data.trpfd). Only one mod will load with both of them installed unfortunately =/

I have a feeling she hasn't.

 

Modding this game seems to be the same deal with Scarlet & Violet. You need to use Trinity Loader to properly extract the game's assets and produce mods for Z-A.

After extracting the game's RomFS, you'll need the nightly release of Trinity Loader, "GFPAKHashCache.bin" from the 1.0.3 version of Trinity, the latest hashes ("hashes_inside_fd.txt" and "hashes_inside_trpak.txt"), and probably "oo2core_8_win64.dll" to make it all work. Place all the required files in the same place as "TrinityModLoader.exe".

 

Here's an example on how to produce a mod with Trinity that makes your female character wear only shoes.

Download the nude mod from jmedia7 if you haven't already which is found here:

After unzipping the mod, navigate to:

"ZAndV1\0100f43008c44000\romfs\ik_chara\model_pc"

and from there, remove "p0_ftw0000_00_sneakers" and "p0_ftw0001_00_sockssneakers".

 

Now make a new zip of the "ik_chara" folder. The root of the zipped file should show the "ik_chara" folder

 

With Trinity Mod Loader all set up, click "Add mod (.zip)" and select the zipped file you created.

In my case, I named the zipped file "NudeGirlShoesOnly.zip".

The mod should then appear on the list. Just make sure it's enabled/checked and then hit "Apply mods".

 

Then you just drag the mod files to how you usually add mods to Switch games.

There's like multiple ways to do this depending on your emulator or if you're using a hacked Switch so you should figure that out yourself. Search it up online if you don't.

 

If you done everything right, you got Harmony arrive in the city wearing only her shoes~

 

Now if only the game would stop crashing on me beyond the gates so I could continue my nudity reactions mod. I can't understand the story if I can't play the game!

By the way, I use XYZtext to edit the game's text messages if anyone else also wants to do that.

Use Eden to get past the gates (I know another emulator works to get past it too, but I forget which), then save and load your save into your emulator of choice.

This game's only been out for like a week, by the way!

  

I decided to spend my evening working on a dialogue mod for this game to include nudity reactions, like I usually do for other Pokemon games.

Thanks to XYZtext, editing this game's dialogue has been easier compared to Scarlet/Violet which had a cumbersome process but that's probably fixed by now.

Unlike Legends: Z-A where your character wears a drastically different outfit after wearing their initial clothes, your character here simply wears a jacket later on.

However, I think the jacket model has its own body model because, unfortunately, jmedia's nude model becomes invisible once your character wears it.

This could be a way to convert the clothed player into a nudist, but I don't really get that kind of vibe from the game's original writing and how its story plays out.

 

I think for a hypothetical scenario on why the player character would be naked, the answer would be very simple for this game—your character is already a nudist. It's a rather bland idea, I would've prefer a sense of progression of having the character get used to being the only one nude, but I can't see how to fit that into this game's story.

The only incentive I could think of to have the main character stay naked in the city is to have the Z-A Royale invitation requests the player to be nude because the Z-A Royale staff somehow took notice of Paxton/Harmony's impressive skills when they had their first Pokemon battles in the buff. (That's how you know the game takes place in the modern era, fricking hidden cameras are everywhere now!)

 

Hopefully once and for fucking all, that one guy would finally shut up and leave me alone forever.

Also, I wonder how hard would it be to switch the names of Taunie and Urbaine? I'm using the rival swap mod, so the game is currently displaying the wrong rival name...

What about if protag had a second bag with their clothes that got lost/stolen? Maybe they stayed overnight at a hotel, and the bag was mistakenly removed by room cleaners while showering, but have to make the train anyway. Then maybe some reason for staying nude (forced? choice? idk which would be better here). Whatever chain of events you want really (where relevant? might not need to talk about how the bag was lost). Probably not the most original, but ig it's a suggestion other than just starting out nudist.

I do hope there's a choice to make it both "only the player is nude" and "nudity is normal" so that it fits for whichever mods are installed. Though I'm not gonna push that much for it since I don't want to overwork the modders. I know they already put in a lot of effort and I'm always happy with what I see from this modding community!

I heard this game have no gender restriction on outfits whatsoever and some have been having fun crossdressing with the protagonists, do their body also share the same model?

I do think SV protags had tiniest shape difference on the body, but Pokemon protags appear to start leaning on androgynous appearances in favor of customization system, so I don't know.

I mean, we don't have to have the nudity be from an inconvenience. I'm on board with the "they were already a nudist" idea.

Because there are a boatload of customization options in ZA, even more than most games. I've seen so many unique trainer designs.

Nudity would have to be a very compelling choice for them.

Fair enough, I can definitely see other scenarios being awkward to justify them staying naked with all the boutiques around. And yeah the customization is definitely pretty nice, between the available choices and removal of gender locking (finally...)
