It has to be done with Trinity because you literally can not mod the newer Pokemon Switch games without them, especially Scarlet/Violet.

We could distribute mods that's already been packed with Trinity but it comes with the risk of compatibility issues with other mods, which can be easily fixed yourself by simply using Trinity to apply multiple mods.

Trinity is very simple to use, it just comes with the annoyance of having to dump the RomFS of your copy of the game which takes up the space of your storage drive.

You need to download the latest hashes from here: https://github.com/ChicoEevee/PokeDocs/tree/main/ZA/Hashlists/FileSystem 

Place these files in the same location as TrinityModLoader.exe.

This will allow you to see more game assets which you can extract by right clicking on them.

Trinity isn't required if you use a romfs redirection mod. The cheat menu/debug mod by Martmists has this implemented, just having that mod enabled lets you use any romfs mod directly (e.g. modname/romfs). https://gamebanana.com/mods/628549

Martmists also implemented it on one of his Scarlet/Mods, it's for some twitch stream crowd control thing but I can confirm the romfs redirection works on 3.0.1 (maybe 4.0.0). https://gamebanana.com/mods/589062

It would be better to have standalone romfs redirection mods, but I could only find them for 1.0 of SV. Martmists has the code on his github, but idk about building it. He posted one for PLZA in discord but it had some error that crashed that game and he only fixed it in his cheat mod.

After a long time messing around I realized I could just cheap the model process without messing up the weights or armature and so on. By taking parts of it and just dragging and stretching it or making objects out of a specific area to keep everything intact I can make something new or different kind of. I just have to make sure the UV is all laid out correctly and the textures aren't all messed up. This one is pretty rough for what it is. I could have done a better job but I'm still learning.

I'm not that great at modeling by any means but I managed to make something out of it. Hopefully I'll get better as I go.

 

I want to improve it later and make the model better than it is now if I don't get distracted working on something else.

 

I gave her little vampire teeth. You can see them when she talks.

I use the debug mod and have gotten cheat codes to work on ryujinx canary though I do have to load the cheats on game launch. changing cheats while playing doesn't seem to do anything for sure

After learning how shit I am with blender as well as applying textures I went back and fixed the first version of Lida I was working on in like a minute or so. Turns out having more than one texture material in the mesh when it's not needed isn't very bright. I've seen a lot of issues with all the other models I've messed with as well.
For now here's a version of Lida I plan on fixing up more and doing better versions of along with Taunie and the others when I get around to it. Again that's if I don't get distracted easily like I tend to do.
I really need to work on my modeling skills.

hi, terrible at trinity modding here, any way to make the protagonist pronoun mod (https://gamebanana.com/mods/628581) load into trinity?

the file order seems different from the lida and taunie mod I have installed; those two work in trinity, the pronoun mod works when dragged and dropped into the mods folder but they never seem to work together (only the lida/taunie mods work)

you should be able to turn it into a trinity mod by taking everything in the romfs folder (except the "arc" folder, do not include that one) and putting those in a zip. to be clear you want what is IN the romfs folder, NOT the romfs folder itself. the new zip should work with Trinity from my experience

How to do this and nude mod at the same time? tried and one stopped working

i have no choice but to pop my head out of my hidey hole for once, what exactly is wrong here? im super duper fed up with trinity loader atm and ive been trying to wrack my brain around it since yesterday and ive gotten no where trying to fit all these mods together

I would recommend grabbing the cheat/debug menu mod, saves you a big headache if youre uncomfy with trinity. make sure there is no arc folder in any of your mod folders if you go down that route

 

If not, then try zipping the ik_chara folder and putting that into trinity, also make sure that the HalloweenUIV1 mod also doesnt have an arc folder, because they will conflict with each other and only one of them will work

A few more shots of the Emma mod progress. I’ve been really stuck on the neck lighting issue and the body brightness during nighttime scenes. I’ve tried every setting and workflow I could think of, but modding this game feels like trying to gather the infinity stones.

I still want to make alternate versions and semi-nude variants, but I don’t want to force out more work while the core issue is unresolved. If I can’t crack it, I might release the files so someone else can push it further.

my mods now work like a charm! It really doesn't hurt to ask after all!

I opened up the jacket for Lida a bit and moved her hair to the side. I also made a quick change to the bottom area. It could be better but I don't plan on improving it anymore until I stop being lazy and progress the game because there are no other instances of her for me to be able to check out her model in game.

It's hard to see when she's sitting there.

Let me know if there are any issues with it. It's nice to have feedback.

I've been using all this as an excuse to practice and learn how modeling works for the most part. So there's bound to be a lot of rough edges.

this might be a weird ask, but would it be possible to get a version of the nude mod that applies the female body we have onto the male protag? I want to play with the nude mod but I also want Taunie to be my rival and want to use another Taunie mod I've seen here. (I figure I can combine it with the Protagonist Pronoun mod to get the proper dialogue)

I decided to take a crack at making the male mods myself! Well, at minimum I'm doing Urbain. A little look below:

 

Once I'm satisfied with my work here I'll share the .blend so people can make their own variants or whatever. Might take some time though, this is my first try at doing any kind of Pokemon/Switch modding

 

Also, question: with the vertex groups on my model, do the names have to match Urbain's own VGs, or just the order, or both?
