That requires having to manually swap the dialogue lines for those characters which is a tedious process to do every single one. and I don't want to make an alternate variation of my mod for something specific and niche when that could've been more efficiently accomplished by editing the game's script to use the right dialogue lines with correct names.

I wouldn't expect the 3D games to have the same nudist AU project as the 2D games anytime soon. 

Editing the old games and their sprites is much, much easier than modding the newer 3D games and making nude models for every character.

I do think SV protags had tiniest shape difference on the body, but Pokemon protags appear to start leaning on androgynous appearances in favor of customization system, so I don't know.

The SV protagonists do have noticeable differences in body shape.

Female has the typical hourglass shape while male are bulkier in comparison.

Similar case for the ZA protagonists, not to mention that the female characters have a prominent chest.

 

There's literally files in the game that are labeled "p1" and "p2", signifying that the clothing models are different to fit each character's physique.

The only models that are shared by both characters (labeled "p0") are accessories, bags, eyewear, face shape, footwear, handwear, headwear, hairstyles, and legwear.

For sure.

Gen 6 could be manageable, but Gen 7 onward is an entirely different beast.

There are just not as many tools for editing the modern games well, not even mentioning the fact that working with 3D is harder than working with 2D by default.

To be honest I was surprised even Sword & Shield had nude mods for Nessa and Bea, never crossed my mind it would be difficult to model the pokemon games. Oh well, not that big of a deal.

Yes this is a thread for a nude mod but I wanna jot down my initial thoughts of the game. Running on V1 Switch 1

 

Just started the game, it's fun but definitely has flaws. Ripped the cartridge from a friend since I don't really wanna support pokemon company.

 

The lack of voice acting is still very present. Taunie says something like "We can't record because the ad will be too loud" and then it's really quiet.

 

The game struggles to stay at a solid 30fps even when overclocked, but that could also be since I'm playing off me emuNAND which is slower.

 

Battling is fun. No notes.

 

The animations feel off still. Most of them are still motion captured and the rest fall flat. When two characters fist bump, their fists are like an inch away from each other.

 

Some of the dialog is corny. Like noticably more cringy than scarlet and violet. A lot of lines just wouldn't make sense for someone to say out loud. There's a line that's like "We lost, me and my pokemon are feeling so down", the character hardly looks dejected and that sentence just felt so awkward.

 

I'd buy the game if it was like $30 but $100 for the full experience is stupid. ($60 base, $10 Switch 2 upgrade, $30 dlc) DLC being announced before the game was even out kinda pissed me off.

 

Anyway that's my initial thoughts. Viewier showed me that there's already nude mods the other day and it's cool that it happened so quickly.

 

If anyone's not sure about getting it, I'd honestly say no and just point to the other games. If you do want it, wait until it's on sale or like use game vouchers or something. I personally wouldn't pay full price for this. If you like the game, that's great! Personally the content doesn't justify the cost.

Modding this game seems to be the same deal with Scarlet & Violet. You need to use Trinity Loader to properly extract the game's assets and produce mods for Z-A.

After extracting the game's RomFS, you'll need the nightly release of Trinity Loader, "GFPAKHashCache.bin" from the 1.0.3 version of Trinity, the latest hashes ("hashes_inside_fd.txt" and "hashes_inside_trpak.txt"), and probably "oo2core_8_win64.dll" to make it all work. Place all the required files in the same place as "TrinityModLoader.exe".

 

Here's an example on how to produce a mod with Trinity that makes your female character wear only shoes.

Download the nude mod from jmedia7 if you haven't already which is found here:

After unzipping the mod, navigate to:

"ZAndV1\0100f43008c44000\romfs\ik_chara\model_pc"

Now make a new zip of the "ik_chara" folder. The root of the zipped file should show the "ik_chara" folder

 

With Trinity Mod Loader all set up, click "Add mod (.zip)" and select the zipped file you created.

In my case, I named the zipped file "NudeGirlShoesOnly.zip".

The mod should then appear on the list. Just make sure it's enabled/checked and then hit "Apply mods".

 

Then you just drag the mod files to how you usually add mods to Switch games.

There's like multiple ways to do this depending on your emulator or if you're using a hacked Switch so you should figure that out yourself. Search it up online if you don't.

 

If you done everything right, you got Harmony arrive in the city wearing only her shoes~

 

Now if only the game would stop crashing on me beyond the gates so I could continue my nudity reactions mod. I can't understand the story if I can't play the game!

By the way, I use XYZtext to edit the game's text messages if anyone else also wants to do that.

i did tried and failed. the game load but stuck at black screen. tested with eden emulator.

Paxton/Harmony fought them away, it became nighttime which means you and your new friend had to escape the battle zone, and then you sleep at the aforementioned hotel. Next day later, Paxton/Harmony received a text message inviting them to participate in the Z-A Royale.

 

Unlike Legends: Z-A where your character wears a drastically different outfit after wearing their initial clothes, your character here simply wears a jacket later on.

However, I think the jacket model has its own body model because, unfortunately, jmedia's nude model becomes invisible once your character wears it.

This could be a way to convert the clothed player into a nudist, but I don't really get that kind of vibe from the game's original writing and how its story plays out.

 

I think for a hypothetical scenario on why the player character would be naked, the answer would be very simple for this game—your character is already a nudist. It's a rather bland idea, I would've prefer a sense of progression of having the character get used to being the only one nude, but I can't see how to fit that into this game's story.

The only incentive I could think of to have the main character stay naked in the city is to have the Z-A Royale invitation requests the player to be nude because the Z-A Royale staff somehow took notice of Paxton/Harmony's impressive skills when they had their first Pokemon battles in the buff. (That's how you know the game takes place in the modern era, fricking hidden cameras are everywhere now!)

 

Hopefully once and for fucking all, that one guy would finally shut up and leave me alone forever.

While playing through this game i thought about how the scenario would play out and envisioned team MZ being a nudist group well known throughout the city with AZ and Floette helping them not get in trouble by giving them a place to be comfortable naked at (hotel Z) or saving them from a precarious position like floette did at the beginning.

You get to lumiose fully clothed but taunie greets you fully nude and introduces you to the team, where you decide to join and also become a nudist when the game changes you into the team mz outfit.

The group dynamic would be Naveen would be very comfortable and not find it erotic in the slightest, as if it was normal, the Lida would be the shyest of them all, always blushing and stammering, Taunie would be enthusiastic about it but will admit its kind of embarrasing yet thrilling and the mc would be a middle ground like not as embarrased as Lida, but more than taunie since shes new to this but is finding it very thrilling.

Thoughts? I know it would mean 2 more nude models but i think it could go hard as a plot.

Man the butt here and the one Akari has in the Arceus mod are some of the best butts I've seen in a nude mod. I'm used to them being way more blocky but they're smooth and perfect.

Trinity is a mod manager, not a dependency for Switch modding. This is what modders used to produce working mods for Scarlet/Violet and Z-A.

Just a basic mesh edit while I was setting up my tools. I did two versions, bigger and mega gooner.

I didn't do the LOD models or anything so I'll probably remake them at some point. Also didn't test much since i'm literally at the beginning of the game. But here it is if anyone wants it
