It's the whole reason why I refuse to make an account there to post updates about my mods, it's not good for my mental health because I know there will be a group of puritanical dickheads flinging me feces and trying to deplatform me because I make nude mods for fictional video game characters regardless of whether they're of age or not.

Partially why I distribute mods here instead of the download sections is because I like seeing download counts of each variation of my mods.

At the very least even for large threads, it wouldn't hurt to just check the very first page and see if the initial post contains an index which it thankfully did.

In the "About This File" section, you can upload multiple ZIPs and it'll still have the download statistics present on that page. You can in turn make the "Download This File" button function as a "Download EVERYTHING" button.

 

Then you can still have the granularity you want as well as a centralized place to upload everything. I would highly recommend that over remaining rooted to the thread.

That's a good idea!

Having the additional option to download everything would be convenient for some people as well.

Before I upload my stuff to the download section, I want to do a quick revision of my mods such as slightly improved topology of the model and uncompressed emote graphics, and maybe something more.

Turns out you can transfer UV mapping from one model to another on Blender which is very helpful.

If I couldn't, this is what I mean as to why I was hesitant to make a fully pink body version. There'd be a seam like this:

In this case though, this is not a texture seam, this is a topology sharp seam intentionally marked by me when I made the peach belly which I can easily undo.

Also, is the nipple colour good here?

However, there's also the matter of textures for normal mapping and metallic/roughness/occlusion mapping.

Basically, if I want to make this model look as good as the belly version in-game, I have to fix up those textures due to UV mapping being changed.

I didn't even put two and two together till now.

I guess I would be the happyzor, or better yet, the openzor lol.

The only difference is that my profile picture is Zeraora, which is suppose to be a cat. But now looking at it, does look like a canine/fox in this specific picture.

that's what I'm saying. Creators building off of eachother is the norm in literally every other community. Nock least of all has no leg to stand on. The only thing you'd owe him is credit for the original mod.

I guess the claim he does have for for that mod might be the text, voice and UI edits for that mod, plus the whole config stuff.

I think as long as you properly credit it should be fine? It's not like you'd be stealing downloads from him or anything.

I'd say even if the models are ripped from another source, it's still bad form to take from someone else's mod without permission regardless of how they acted y'know? While porting over models isn't as much work as making them from scratch, it still does take some amount of effort to port them over and making them look right in a different engine. I'd say the safest bet is to find your own rips of the original model and use that going forward instead of pulling from Nock's mod.
