Yeah. It's refreshing to have another bug mobian character after having just Charmy for so long. And what a beautiful one it is. Hot take, but if I were to have a list of IDW characters who get prioritized for spinoffs, it's this.

1. Surge - Face it, she's so beloved, plus she's yet another rival for Sonic, this time being a canon spiritual successor to the infamous Scourge, but with a much more original dynamic. And fans love their Sonic rivals/doppelgangers.

2. Tangle and/or Whisper - You know why. I know they're originally the highest priority ones, but if it comes to adding just one IDW character first, it should be Surge in my opinion.

3. Jewel - As much as I would rather she be higher than Tangle and Whisper, I cannot deny their popularity, so I unfortunately have to place her below them to be more fair.

4. Lanolin or whoever else.

I've seen Lanolin's fanbase explode rather quickly but I do think at the very least it should be in order of appearance, especially if we started with Tangle and Whisper.

 

And what I like about Jewel is that she is more of a normal person. It means she's less action oriented but it does a lot for her talking to other characters and offering a different perspective. I think that shines a lot and the goofy little beach comic demonstrates that she's got her strengths still. I just her character and I love when she's cowardly and silly. Makes her perfect for ENF. But that's not really a high priority for most of the fanbase, not much that can be done about that.

 

Fortunately I love Surge quite a bit so I'm just happy she has a very VERY good chance of coming at least next year.

There's loads of nude mods for really popular games like Resident Evil or Street Fighter, but would you consider the people downloading those to not be normal? And do you think the people moderating the mod forums for those games to not be normal people for allowing that stuff?

My guy, on Gamebanana, open up Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Mania and you'll see nude and fetish mods in there. Open up Nexus mods and if a Sonic game has nude mods, they'll be there.

This is something that's completely okay, you're just choosing to restrict people because of your own limited views. It really isn't to keep anyone safe, it's really just because you don't want to see nude mods. Nobody gives a shit what you want to do for yourself, you don't get to force those views on an entire community that has created a considerable amount of content for this game because they also love it, just like you.

 

Counting the mods on the first page here, there's a whopping 44 MODS that would be reasonable to post in Gamebanana. Rouge, Amy, Blaze, Wave and even Miku are all depicted as either ageless or adults, this isn't an issue of what's acceptable, you are just denying a considerable part of this community their place in it because of your narrow views.

 

Honestly, I used to be like that. Someone I knew went really deep into sexy mods for a game and I used to think he was really weird for it. Nowadays I know that it really isn't my business to police what people do on their personal computers without hurting anyone at all, and then I got into nude mods myself.

We're completely normal people who aren't hurting anyone with what we're doing here, you need to realize this and just be normal about it. No one's posting it on your Discord server but rather on the Gamebanana where it's actually acceptable, no matter what you think.

Lanolin would be nice honestly, especially since she has the most sizable chest out of the cast now. Who'd they pair her with I wouldn't know though if they wanna do a duo each roster update. I'm hoping they add her regardless.

We know this much.

We know it's appalling they're letting an emotionally-charged kid keep his power as moderator when they've evidently shown to be antagonistic towards a group of people he deemed "not normal". Even felt the need to bring up this drama publicly on the general chat channel of CrossWorlds Hub which is not what you should be doing as a moderator. Again, until the admins at GB actually assess the situation seriously, what can we do about it? (I will say though, he is justified being upset that his mod was modified without permission. But just because one guy isn't willing to respect one's wishes does not mean we're all the same like him.)

 

I don't really see why I should care that much anyway, I only share my mods where they belong and "Catnatic" is merely one of my many aliases to keep myself safe because what happened recently is precisely why I separate my identity as a NSFW artist from my main self.

Its not just GB when we look at the bigger picture, we saw how Nexus has its own issues leaving us with little options for little options on where to get mods that are not moderated to such an unnecessary degree that also has the convince of mod browsing like those sites do. LL is a forum and you either go through pages of text to find the mod, or the thread has someone take the time to perform a community service to link it all to the start of the thread (then there's the possible nuking that loses it all over one post, Shadow gens rip).

I think you can ask someone here to make a dedicated spot for Crossworlds. Like with Rimworld, Darkest Dungeon, etc. But I think there needs to be enough mods to warrant one, however.

Worse case, I'm sure someone would gladly take over updating and adding to a page for all the mods.
