I'm really the only one interested in doing male mods but problem is: I'm only one guy, I already have lots of other mods in development, my interests can change anytime, I don't always have the libido to produce NSFW mods, and I don't particularly find the majority of the male cast sexually attractive so they're admittedly low priority to me.

 

That does not mean I won't work on them, I could if I feel like doing it which would be a good way for me to practise producing cock and ball meshes.

But keep in mind that it's a big task to edit over 10 of these characters, more so if I'm doing variations for each one.

It's only really Tails that I absolutely want to do; and because I'm thinking about him again, I've made more penis variation drafts for him. This time it's humanoid.

Fully yellow peen, white dipstick dick if he still has his foreskin, and circumcised cock with the dipstick pattern cut off.
Whatever it may be, he'd be naturally hanging it out for all to see all the time (and we would've see it officially if our society isn't so prudish).

Yeah, most of the creative aspects of the furry community is primarily in drawing and animation. Not so much modding/coding unfortunately. Which is a shame since the games are a great choice for NSFW content imo.

 

Regardless of what you choose to do, your mods tend to always come out good regardless. Still looking forward to Nine if you ever get to him.

Welp, it's been a week since this mod came out and pretty much nothing happened to it.

 

Considering what it contains and how it's pretty visible on the main thumbnail for it, I'd say the line for flat-chested, canon-proportion Cream, Sage and Maria has pretty much been fully crossed. I think if the people interested with that type of art were more explicit about it on this thread, I don't think they'd suffer much of any consequences, although I'll avoid directly posting such art myself because that might lead to the thread's deletion.

 

I know my posts here as of late were about this "line" that we've been towing for some time, but I think it's a relevant discussion to be had about the limits of what's okay on this site, and seeing as how the top two most downloaded mods on the downloads page are a lewd Sage and lewd Maria, I think that the Crossworlds NSFW community as a whole is also interested in that realm of nude mods.

Yeah, but you're using that mod as an example, when in reality, other mods such as Catnatic's Cream mod are much better examples of this.

Well, I think you could argue that Cream has no canonical age and is also an anthro so there's some kind of separation. I was using that mod as an example because it very explicitly features flat-chested, on-model, canon-proportions totally nude Sage and more importantly, Maria.

 

Hell, by bringing up Catnatic's Cream mod, you're basically saying we should've been less careful about this stuff for a very long time, considering how that was pretty visible even before we had an admin come to the thread.

I wish I could search the thread for nothing but images to show the type of Cream art we had posted here, since it really was over that line and things were totally fine still.

 

Maybe someone should post some of the Sage and Maria art that's featured on the decals mod just to get the ball rolling. Honestly, the Pokemon thread features way worse material. I probably shouldn't do it myself because it risks the thread's deletion.

The thing is that, as hypocritical as it is, it tends to be okay in a lot of people's eyes as long as the character in question isn't human like at all. Cream is a mobian rabbit that looks like a mobian rabbit, so she's okay. Sage is an AI that looks 1to1 like a human, so she's not okay. I personally wouldn't risk it as we don't need the thread nuked imo, nor should anyone get into any trouble just to test the waters. It would be a lot more beneficial to simply ask and get a direct answer from the admins imo, its just safer that way.

 

In terms of the pokemon thread, it really doesn't if you're specifically talking about what Platinude and the other projects are doing. As basic nudity isn't sexual at all, and the patch isn't meant to really be seen as sexual. Just nudism.

Arguably what I'm aiming for with my nude mods would be quite similar — making every anthro character naturally nude and anatomically correct.

Staying true to their official proportions and having them behave the same would lean closer to the mods being merely nudism.

Changing up their proportions to be attractive and/or have them act provocatively would otherwise be sexualising them instead.

 

My on-model Sage mod would match the former, but it's still obscene to a lot of people who aren't into that kind of fictional characters.

Ironically though, sexualising her body to look more adult would be safer to share here as opposed to simply making her nude as is.

 

The vibes in the Pokemon threads are nudism-fixated and the intent is clear that their project aims to turn everyone into nudists so younger character being naked is just a byproduct of the goal. On this thread, it's mixed with a totally different audience here.

There's people like me who just wants nudity and visible naughty bits, and then there's other people who wants the game lewded which is a big difference.

About Platinude, we could talk all we want about the intent of the mod, but the content found within it is pretty clear cut. Just because there's some non-sexual intent behind its creation doesn't mean that the nudity found within it doesn't cross the line of what's socially acceptable.

None of that even matters, since the decals mod features sexualized artwork of Sage and Maria and it's still up, it's why I'm using it as an example of a line being crossed.

 

How would we even go about asking the admins about this? I, for one, see the admin showing up to our thread, presumably seeing what's on it and deciding to open a downloads section for us as confirmation that we're "so far so good", at least up to that point.

Just checked, by the time Ashal created a downloads section for us, there were already the Cream nude mod and a link to RochesteDorm's Sage nude mod (which features a close-to-canon proportions option). Ashal themself mentioned my index from the first post, so they probably saw what's on it and still went through with it. This is why I feel oddly confident about this, since it feels like this thread has been largely enabled up to this point.

If your mod is of the same intent as Platinude which is basic nudity, and Platinude's been allowed to exist on this site, then why hold back? Again, the Pokemon thread features even more extreme content.

Also, the downloads section already has Sage mods that arguably even more sexual than what a simple nude would be. Not to mention the renders that were going around here a couple pages ago, obviously sexualizing her (and Maria's) body. It's all been allowed, it has all been fine up to this point.

 

If we're making a mistake with this, I can at least hope that we'd get warned about it and be allowed to move on without nuking the thread. At least we're having a proper discussion about it instead of blatantly posting porn with no doubt.

I still wouldn't call it "extreme content", as nudity isn't inherently sexual. Only if one makes it out to be. I'd argue what's in the mega decal pack is more along the lines of "extreme content". Especially since Viewier and the rest of the spriters have pure intentions for the rom. Its meant to be none sexual, i.e. nudism/naturism.

I think the issue stems from the fact that Catnatic's version is full nudity. While the version that's up right now has her covered. I agree its silly that the decal pack is fine despite what's there. And a bunny Maria mod while the one for Frontiers got that thread nuked (Assuming it was that), tells me it has to be the full nudity aspect of it.

 

I do agree that Catnatic's mod should be allowed to be up, as its fictional at the end of the day and I don't see an issue with it.

I meant that the characters in there seem obviously younger than Sage.

Also the decal pack is definitely extreme and sexualized, which is why I use it as an example of the lines being crossed with no worry.

True, but both are still, to the bare minimum, covered. I.e. no bits are shown. Which is why I fully believe its 100% the full nudity aspect of it.

And yes, the showcase of Maria in the nude is most likely what caused it. Not skimpy or sexual, just full nudity and a prime focus on it.

We've crossed the line and nothing happened, if something should've happened we'd have been warned by this point.
