sometimes i downscale the resolution when playing online mp just to be sure; at the Pacman festival i had so many disconnection issues, resulting in the message about not enough vram, i had a suspension for leaving matches and i couldn't do half of the festival.  It hasn't happened again since (perhaps they improved network code) but i never feel safe  about it anymore playing at 100% resolution. 

unless you are big into performance or bench marking i say leaving the resolution 100% is fine, just tweak the effects until you get a balance between graphics and performance, At  minimum you don't want your game chugging on 12 player matches with item spam, above that it's your call how pretty you want your game to look.

I think the problem with male mods is what do you even do with them beyond giving them a dick? Like outside knuckles and making him more jacked I feel its harder to do anything sexy with the male character but I might be bias here because I like sonic how he is normally. I seen a nice jacked knuckles model before but I feel this fits him more than it fits something like sonic or shadow. I'm also not a guy so I'm not even sure what men even wear to be sexy beyond just have a nice body because as far as I know guys don't really wear sexy outfits like we do.

not to be predictable, but make em crossdress. femboy tails, NiGHTS, etc give me life, and my gf and i do the autistic happy hands whenever we find new stuff

They could be caked up, or have some variations, such as sonic boom variants or classic variants, for sexy stuffs, idk except a big cake they could be in underwears or dressed like male strippers, people could be creative

I think my thing is....I don't like that on guys. I don't like twinks or femboy's and I don't like guys with massive cake because I look at it as a fem trait. I prefer men to be masc and sonic characters can't really fit that for me outside knuckles. I do like sonic the way he is though because I'm actually attracted to sonic (and shadow and knuckles) regardless of my preference for more masc traits.

In my experience, I never had such issues at all and that's likely because my PC is more than capable of running the game like that.

So yeah, make sure your PC has met the recommended specifications or preferably stronger than that if you're going to increase your rendering scale.

While its not my interest, Male sonic cast nudes indeed feels like a niche with how few there are. With how much art male art pops up when you search Sonic in general, I'd have thought I'd be dodging (scroll past) male mod posts more than there is right now.

Flat chests can be appealing to many who are into that. I prefer fem traits on guys mostly. As do a good few others. I personally prefer male mods that are tasteful anyhow or just plain nude. Men, and women, don't need sexy clothing to be attractive imo, but I do know that it can help. I just don't think its needed imo.

Depends on the person really. And what they're into. Considering the type of game, I prefer Tail's just having a sheath and not a full on hard on personally.

I mean we're talking about furry-specific kinks here for a game primarily featuring anthropomorphic animals.

It's far from being the typical average gooning material for "normies", sure, but let's not pretend that a game like this wouldn't have furries here wanting to get off to animal characters having visible natural animal genitalia that may or may not be erected.

 

It's still silly to say though that a male animal character being anatomically-corrected to have genitalia would not be considered a "nude" mod despite the character being literally nude and having (non-humanoid, flaccid) genitals that's often considered obscene to the general audience. And I'm going to be blunt on this, nobody asked you to be the arbiter on what constitutes as a nude mod, and I certainly do not appreciate you undermining my mod just because it's not lewd enough to your personal liking.

 

I understand and accept that my mods aren't for everyone, but to insinuate that my mods aren't like "true" nude mods is needlessly insulting.
