I've been thinking about seeing the Pacman ghosts and wondering how possible it is to replace them with them?

Not likely, since the ghost models don't have leg bones, or head bones for that matter. It would have to be a more humanoid character.

I already figured it was impossible haha, anyway thanks for answering that question. So, a more "chibi" version like charmy might be possible? or is that just as impossible too?

The main reason even the nude purists tend not to make Sonic characters fully nude is because they were all designed with gloves and shoes, and we all somewhat agree - not all the time, mind you - that Sonic characters do look kinda awkward without shoes and gloves.

 

Another reason is they would also have to choose what type of foot design to use if they removed them (i.e. human feet, clawed feet, or just the blobs, etc.), since not everyone agrees on what the canon design is.

holup, but isn't it possible to just replace the skeleton entirely? The Neptune mod on GB goes over creeper but seems to use Miku's skel and animations, so maybe it wouldn't be completely impossible to make the minus8 ghosts!
Edit: Yeah, and there's a proof-of-concept mod that does the same thing over Creeper but with ichiban's animations

Technically, unfortunately, the blob feet is the canon design. But no one other then the people who are purists for Sonic design cares for that. Even the movie gave them paws. Personally I think a combo between paws and claw toes work best. And maybe not as over sized. Since another issue is just how big their feet/hands are. Hands should be fine, since Tangle doesn't have normal gloves, hers are fingerless, and they look fine on her. Its mainly just the feet.

Yeah I mean, I kinda get why, but still that's part of why I asked. I have seen barefoot mods but they're rare and usually done over human-ish characters like Miku so I wanted to know if you guys knew any.

 

Tho I'm not sure if barefoot Sonic chara are that unpopular. I've seen a lot of lewd renders and draws with them fully nude or just having the gloves owo

Even tho I'm a fan of all kinds of femboys and futas, one I never fully understood was the appeal of futas without balls. Like.... Why not have the whole kit? So to speak, like.... Cameltoe, bootyhole and PP with balls? XD

It can be done. I personally think Sonic characters look better without gloves and shoes depending on how its drawn. If given proper animal feet, like a combo of paws with normal leg structure, it looks really well done. The problem is that not many people really care too unless its a artistic choice, since drawing them with feet can be awkward.

For the sake of consistency with the guys wearing shoes, I like the girls to keep theirs for my nude mods.

Barefooted Sonic characters is just not an appealing aesthetic to me and it doesn't help that the official blob feet sucks.

I'm not a fan of seeing humanoid feet on them, I think pawed feet suits them better but I don't have the skills to model them well.

I think they did the method I was going to do with Nine which was to borrow Tails' body to replace Nine's clothed body.

I'm probably still going to do that because my version of nude Nine would be to retain his own shoes, gloves, and mechanical tails.

The Game Awards always has a thing against Sonic because they still think it's cool to treat Sonic like a joke so this isn't really surprising.

The fact that Sonic 3 movie wasn't nominated despite being well-received but those other stinkers made it for Best Adaption is obvious they don't want Sonic to ever win.

Well, I guess if it literally just uses a different skeleton, then sure. Just can't use the ghost skeleton, doesn't have the bones for it (guh).

Modders and artists tend to have different tastes, generally. I only know of a few modders who really are okay with barefoot Sonic mods, hence how rare they are.

The excuse for Sonic 3 not being nominated was that its from December 2024. Yet, they've had other shit on there from December 2024 before. All of December should just be counted towards it for next year regardless imo. As for Crossworlds not winning? Just typical TGA being a dumpster fire as usual. From e33 winning best indie and debut when it shouldn't of imo, it barely showed anything worth while anyhow. Only a select few games looked interesting imo.

This is probably way easier than how I made mine. I just used this addon (https://github.com/EelisOtsamo/VertexColorTools/) and manually selected the vertices I wanted to be the glitchy ones. If I was smarter and actually knew what I was doing, it probably would've been way easier to use the shaders lmao.

Yes I am. I know there is a Rouge futa model out there I’m just hoping someone uses that one or makes a new one, I just really want a Rouge futa mod at some point
