The potion will not only affect the physical, but also the player's mind.
It could also cause the player to be unable to refuse Lim's suggestions. Even if he subconsciously wants to wash away.

So the potion is also acting on his perceptions of women in general and what it would be like if he were to become a woman. Interesting take. In the current version of the mod, the PC is outraged at the change that has taken place. You're suggesting that, in your scenario, he would actually be open to this idea. Interesting idea but this would pretty much end the mod since there would be no reason to continue down the path - PC starts out a guy, inadvertently gets transformed into a woman, decides "hey, this is cool!", goes on about his, now her, life. End of story. 

 

Or are you suggesting that the transformation, and his reflections on it, are causing him to re-evaluate his own attitudes about women? Become more open to accepting women as equals? Understand, I'm curious, not challenging. I find the whole issue of transgenderism to be fascinating.

Well, what comes out of Google translator seems to be fairly coherent so presumably it's doing a reasonably decent job. <g>

I'm not sure what 'bonuses' you are referring to. Are you thinking that there should be such? There's no indication that the mod author was considering that but, of course, there's no reason to assume he might not, as the mod progresses, add some.

 

I notice that you are presuming that there will be a reversal option. Not sure whether there will be. Currently, that's Lim's goal but there's no predicting how successful she will be.

where do i find the high poly head mod, right now nexus is saying i have a missing master foor the mod. will any high poly head mod that has females in it work? i tried one on LL, but apparently that doesnt do it. Specifically, i downloaded "[Predator] HP Head SMP.7z".

 

edit:

i found a file link in "Relationship Dialogue Overhaul Males Patch" that was version 1.4 and similar to other mods mentioning a high poly head that was also on version 1.4 and it made the problem seem to disappear so hopefully that was it.

I don't know if you plan to give the player the option of briefly reverting to male form. If so, then he could wash the skill bonuses during these moments.

 

I don't know what Lim's intentions are. But I assume the player will end up in a woman's body whether they agree with it or not.

I do want to add debuffs for player in male form and add potions of "fleeting masculinization" for 24 hours (it's even implemented in code) (for example no magicka if male or no stamina regen etc.)

Just for possible inspiration:

Where to find Crimson Nirnroot underground. It can be obtained from the alchemist. After whom Lim sends him. Each one has, but only one piece. And each one can want something extra from such a beautiful girl in addition to the previously agreed price.... First just a kiss. With each subsequent visit the alchemist will be more daring.

 

If the player agrees, then everything is fine.

If she was going to refuse. Then he finds out that even if he wants to refuse subconsciously. So his female body does not refuse and marries the alchemist itself. For a kiss and any other of his demands.

So that later the player can prevent unwanted sex. He decides to get himself a chastity belt and a chastity bra. He tries to rely on these items. When he cannot trust his body. But the sellers may have keys. And after sex, she equips the Harcha with extra plugs....

 

Also, thanks to her attempts at refusal, she discovers that the potions have another side effect. And that is the inability to refuse Lim's demands. And she also cannot refuse the sexual demands from the salesman Lim is sent to.

That's really odd. O can't see anything in your LO that might conflict with my mod. Try use help command: "help TGQMLimFem 4" and find her ID then place her to you. I'll look through potential issues with Lim's disappearance but I can't really tell what it might be, because it's works even on my heavy-loaded game.

Fixed:

-Installed Backported Extended ESL Support

-Opened Skyrim SE, went to "Mods" section in-game, then "Load Order", then enabled checkmark by TGQM (it was in the list but not checked)

-Started new game

However, now the body morphs aren't working. Character isn't changing after drinking potions. Using Nexus Mod Manager, Skyrim SE.

 

Update: Fixed again. Using Skyrim AE for this mod seems to fix everything.

Have you build male body in BodySlide (with build morphs check)? If no, you have to in order to see changes

Did you add a changelog to the download page? I noticed that there's a new format for new mods being uploaded to LL, interesting. Sorry if I missed it.

 

Can you ELI5 the quest for me? Is the player railroaded into becoming a woman (this would be desired functionality if not), and/or does something push the PC towards the starting quest? Transformation mods in general are pretty scarce for Skyrim, unfortunately, so this is very interesting to me. 

 

One more question, how is compatibility with other SL mods after the transformation takes place? Does it break anything? This is a pretty old sentiment, coming from the pre-LE days, but I seem to recall that changing sex on a character could break things, so I've usually avoided it. I know BOS/YPS has a method to handle this, though. Never tried it there.

Yes, I add changelogs, but LL keeps the ones that relate to the latest update of the mod.

 

Regarding the quest itself: no, no one will ‘force’ you to change. To start the ‘interaction,’ you must find Lim in a lonely alchemist's hut in the forest near Ivarstead. During the initial dialogues with Lim, you can refuse her experiments several times, but this will end in a boss fight with her. After her death, all changes will disappear from the hero within 24 hours, except for the complete transformation. After waiting 3 days after the transformation, you will start the quest The New Girl, which in my plans should be relatively ‘dark’ with the use of SL and DD mods.

 

As for compatibility with other SL mods, nothing should ‘break’. Moreover, I am already planning tight integration with the SL Framework, which consists of checking whether the player is a virgin after they have transformed. This is supported by the SL diary, which will logically be reset when the player becomes a woman (since they had no sexual experience as a woman). In short, that's how it is for now.

Yes, for now it's kinda short but even in the end I think that it won't be big. I want to create immersive and interactive experience, so it definitely will not be as big as Emily's great mod. As for changelog I'll think about it - but I definitely won't add previous ones. But will try to add them in future updates as they will go.

A quick announcement: I haven't disappeared, and the mod isn't dead. I've been dealing with some health issues and work problems, and my current build of the game has been reset, so I'm actively working on restoring it! As soon as I finish the build and the problems subside a little, I will definitely return to actively developing the mod. I apologise for the minor inconvenience.

I respect your point of view, but I I'm literally pointed out in the mod's description why I want to create my mod and the whole purpose of it. If you don't like it, or don't want it, or you are a fan of someone's else mod (Emily's got a beautiful one) - just ignore mine. Each player's Skyrim is a Unique Skyrim 🤩
