I mean, right now you can have the player die simply by taunting the interrogator into having you executed, and then not running away/fighting back. Did you have something else in mind?

Oh my bad I just read the description. I have tried several times to taunt the interrogator but the execution never come, is there a bug I guess?

You wont be executed until you've reached the end of questions, be it answered or just lying. Just taunting 'in of itself' wont cause the execution to happen *right away*. Keldarin's got a sadist streak and will let you think you might live right up-to the end lol.

There seems to be a problem with the LOD next to Whiterun, and it comes from this mod (disabling it, seems to fix the issue)

I have installed the latest Engine Fixes. I am on 1.5.97.

Can you check it out?

Whoa, bizarre. This mod doesn't make any edits to the landscape in/around Whiterun, so I can't think off the top of my head what might be causing it. Every location added by the mod is in its own worldspace rather than the main game one.

Are you using DynDOLOD? Or do you have any other LOD-affecting mods? (I know next to nothing about DynDOLOD, but I DO know it's notoriously finicky)

What Lilzt3hcat said! After you've gotten through all the questions, the quest will decide on the ending (release or execution) based on your dialogue choices; if you were defiant more than three times, if you admitted to worshipping Talos even once, or if you turn down the offer to become an informant, you'll be executed. You can get through all the questions by 1. Answering them truthfully, 2. Successfully lying, or 3. Getting sent back to your cell (every time you sleep in the bed, there's a 1/3rd chance Keldarin will give up and just move on to the next question).

So, if your main goal is to get killed as fast as possible, then you should answer all the questions truthfully, and then tell Keldarin "I'm not going to become an informant for you". That will start the execution scene.

I was also seeing the floating mountains over whiterun, and it started when I installed the current version of CBT.  Disabling CBT corrected it. I'm not using any LOD mods.

Yea I am using DynDOLOD.

Still, the problem stems from this mod. Other users also reported the same, so I am not the only one here, unfortunately.

I'd just added this to my modlist for a new playthrough, and also found these floating mountains.  Added to the new game without re-running DynDOLOD.  Console showed that they were added by the CBTS mod esp.

Easily "fixed" in game by selecting while in console and disabling to get rid of them.  But not all may be aware/comfortable doing so.

Ah, I see what happened. I accidentally borked the worldspace data during the latest update--what I intended to be its own independent worldspace was instead interpreted by the Creation Kit as "directly over the center of the game map" :/

I've fixed the bug and uploaded CBT version 1.0.3. Please update to the latest version to fix the floating mountains; sorry for the error!

I was just looking for the cause of this strange phenomenon. Thanks.

Nice mod. Any plans for any other factions in the future?

Maybe, but if so, not for a long time. My current priority list is 1. Stabilize this version, 2. Add a female interrogator, and then 3. Add in some slavery

...I promise there's no virus in there? I uploaded to the internet and then downloaded onto my old laptop just fine.

Is it the browser that's giving you a warning, or Windows? Or some third-party security software?

Odd, yesterday it wouldn't download, today it did O.o

If you hold out, you can get rescued?  Any chance you can have a rescue scene with Kaidan if installed?  That would actually be appropriate, as he was captured and the dragonborn frees him.  Just an idea...

Unfortunately not. Every time you go to sleep there's a 1 in 5 chance that you'll get rescued, and if the rescue DOES happen your rescuer is Thorald Gray-Mane. I don't play with Kaidan and don't have any plans to do a crossover, but I'm not opposed if that's something somebody else wants to make

I'm using acheron and want to try this mod out, what does the bleed out override flag in the player record do ?

It is going to be related to the fact that many of the tortures deal damage to the player.  Rather than allowing the player to die, instead you will get a fade to black and wake up in the holding cell.  It's safe to assume that this mod is not going to play well with any mod that offers a death-alternative, such as Defeat, Acheron, Babo Dialog, Naked Defeat, etc.

Exactly what brewmasterhal said. I do my best to avoid *actually* bringing the player to 0 HP and instead have them pass out when they get below 10% of their max HP--but since the damage dealt by combat is somewhat randomized, there's no way for me to guarantee that a solid mace swing won't deal more damage than that. The bleed out override flag is there as a failsafe so that you can't actually be tortured to death.

I don't know about Acheron, but Defeat has an MCM option where you can temporarily turn it off; if you have a death alternative mod installed but deactivated, it *likely* won't cause any problems. I'll add a note to the main mod page for future reference.

Anyone creative enough has found a way, whether technical or through rp, to integrate this mod with DD or Zaz devices? ☺️

What are you envisioning?  We talking just equipping/unequipping shackles at certain points, or are you looking for calling some of the specific Zaz SL anims?

The game seems to softlock when I select the responses relating to Talos. The conversation will end, Keldarin will just stand there, and nothing happens even after several minutes.

Otherwise, great mod and good job!
