So one of the next mechanics im building is the "escort system" - allowing npcs to take you places in various different ways lead, follow, tp, etc. with the goal of making it not just some boring ai follow system that is tedious, but introducing random events and npc behaviors to provide variance. I didn't think about crawling but that might be an occasional thing, i like that idea.  

3 I have something similar already with begging, though that whole system needs expansion and polish, as well as its attached crime triggering

4-7 I don't think fit my writing style in a way where i could add those, but 7 in particular might be a thing in the solitude "kennel" when i get to that.


but i try to build everything in a way to allow me to expand in the future, so when i get to that we will see what i decide to add.
 

 

Writing is a passion of mine- I would always be happy to pitch in if you'd like! But I am not trying to intrude on your mod or your vision. Hell, if you made your mod easy to customize via mod events, we could tailor the events players encounter and cater to everyones' individual liking.

There should be a Reset option in the World mcm, updated Licenses while it was on but World doesnt take those licenses in effect so Im just testing right now if the licenses problem appears as I enter Whiterun or after 8 days as I have set it.

There is no chance of updating on a current game? I actually made it to level 16 on this playthrough lol....... With how difficult my Skyrim is and full of... distractions... that is like 100 hours. Usually my Modding ADD doesn't let me get past level 6

So there is no way to update in a way I’ll support, some scripts are now entirely different types, hundreds of properties have been remapped, the likelihood is it’s not possible to update. I try to avoid versions you can’t update, but it couldn’t be helped in this case.

 

but, if you really want to try:

1: back up your save.

2: load the game, go into the mcm, debug, and uninstall my mod. Save.

3: disable lmao in your mod organizer.

4: load the game. Save

5: open that save in resaver and clear any unattached objects and scripts, and save.

6: load the game, save.

7: install the new version of lmao in a new folder (so if it doesn’t work you can just turn on the old version) 

8: launch, install through the mcm, then save and reload. 
 

(remember they have different anims, so either run fnis between these steps, or expect t poses until you do)
 

At this point I’d just test some basic stuff like paying for a toll, committing a crime and being confronted, etc. if things seem to be working, congrats! I still won’t support any issues that arise from it, but I hope it works!

 

if it doesn’t, you can reenable the old version and load up your backed up save, and then just leave this mod till your next playthrough!

Meh... this allows me to get rid of Bodysearch, potentially, and I wanted to switch to Sunhelm from iNeeds and give it a go anyways. Who wants to play a single character forever haha

Just wanted to share my appreciation for this mod.

 

Still using Sexlab Survival but I've been following this mod since it first appeared on this site and eagerly waiting for a time when enough new mods have taken over from Sexlab Survival that I can make the switch.

 

But it's gotten so far along now that I'm getting anxious waiting and might install it for my next new start.

Just wondering if it gets weird with the toll booths if I still have Sexlab Survival installed for the other parts that I don't have good replacements for yet.

It’s been a long time since I’ve used sls at this point, but disable conflicting features in sls where you can. I’ll note our whiterun kennels are in the same spot, so it will look a bit jank there. Your mileage may vary, I don’t recommend them together, but I know plenty of other players use them together without major issue.

I noticed Hydra Slave Girls has been removed from the requirements. Did this update fully deprecate its use? I know you said you wanted to move away from it. Just wanted to double check if I should keep it around for the slave level stuff still.

It still should work as well as it did, so if you want to continue using it, it should be fine. I just don't want to continue suggesting it when im working to actively replace it.

Aand already my game crashes when I try to use the bed roll in the kennel. It happens after 9pm for some reason.

In addition, for some reason Meeko doesnt want to leave that place.

Damn - do you got papyrus or crash logs? 9pm is when i start kicking off potential abuse events, so there might be something miswired there 

Edit: I'll note I've gotten a couple reports that the kennel might be a little messed up in this update generally - I'll be looking into it heavily later today when i get off work, trying to push an update in the next day or 2 to fix the issues there.

Perfect thanks for the clarification. As a long time SLS user I really appreciate the work you've put into this. Especially the ease of manually adding some other mods into the punishments area. It has an entire section of my modlist devoted t it so I'm very excited to try the new update!

No idea how to get them. But I can say that I entered the kennel from inside the city, on the very first day. Reloaded a save and told Meeko to wait for me (he speaks now lol) and after a night he followed me out no problem, seems like he got stuck when I forgot to use the dialog option. Say, does the mandatory nudity rule apply to the NPCs now? Havent noticed it in the list.

They should be in your /mygames/skyrim/logs (but you may need to enable logging) 

Similarly the crash logs should end up in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE as like crash-log-<date>.log 

Regardless, I'll play around with the kennel over the next couple days and work through the kinks, maybe my recommendation is to just avoid the kennel for now, I am confident whatever is going on won't require a new save or anything once i get it updated

Spent so much time testing everything else and completely spaced the kennel

I just asked on Discord for clarification on this, but everyone should be aware that Steelfeather's Papyrus Extender requires Skyrim AE, aka version 1.6+. It will not work with SE 1.5.97. There is no SE version of that mod, meaning LMAO is now effectively an AE-only mod. I don't know if that was intended or not.

Only used for held stolen goods crime, and only for clearing. It should work fine without it. I forgot to mention it for like a week while i had players playing it in beta and no one noticed.

edit: actually i think ive seen this before. I think LL might do something funky with the zips on upload that causes some files to be read wrong, but thats just conspiracy brain. switching zip methods for the next upload

You are right, I did not, I was testing it on an old save with barebones mods. And I will keep asking about the nudity law working for NPCs untill you answer. 😁

Oh, yeah im surprised you aren't crashing on load trying an old save with the new version. you are lucky you made it to the kennel to crash there lol

And yes nudity law should be working for NPCs (with a new save)

Going to finally try this mod.... however Steelfeathers isn't compatible with my GOG AE version. I'm going to try it anyway.... What could I be missing?
