so nice to see an update and thanks for adding the tattoos in the consequences!!

 

3 ideas suggestions i just had for future updates are:

 

spit consequence: the npcs will spit on your face and body (there are actually some textures out there for spit attacks but i dont remember the creator atm...was using them at LE)

 

dickslap attack: cum textures could be applied on the pc during a hit in combat

 

devious attack: devious devices could be locked on player during a power attack (mostly plugs or gags and rarely cuffs..cause binding the pc hands in combat will mean insta-defeat)

I am a mod user from South Korea.

I have been using this mod since its early releases and have been maintaining a Korean translation for my personal use.

Recently, I noticed that a Russian translation was added to the project, and it made me wonder if I might be able to help as well.

I have already translated the mod into Korean for my own use, and if sharing that work could be helpful to you, I would be happy to contribute. I wanted to reach out and ask whether there is any way I could assist with a Korean translation of the mod.

As it states that a new game MAY be needed, has anyone out there got the update working on an existing game?  Sadly I'm really too far down the rabbit hole on my current game to risk screwing it up, or even start again just to update this :classic_sad:

 

Any help/thoughts on ppl's experience would be welcome, so TIA

I only encountered CTD when the Living Latex was equipped. No CTD with other Devious Devices.

 

I use the Living Latex variant with the nipple cutouts. My guess is that the recent versions of Mu Dynamic Normal Map have difficulty generating the normal map around the nipple cutouts and cause CTD.

 

The older versions of Mu Dynamic Normal Map have a noticeable delay in updating the normal map around the nipple cutouts but don’t CTD.

Hi! I've updated in existing save and played for a bit and everything was great and stable (thought I haven't had curse or consequence trigger yet).
I've run reSaver and it only found 1 missing script (which I sometimes get even without updating or removing mods) so I hope that I won't have any problems later

Just updated from 0.8.4 to 0.9.0 and I can no longer get device themes to function.

 

I followed these steps:

1. Created a fresh save

2. Clicked Help > Return to Default

3. Enabled Misc > Use Device Themes

4. Triggered a regular device event

 

I confirmed my current theme file works on 0.8.4. My theme file content is:

    "black & leather"
]

 

But the theme isn't working. For example I got pink catsuit gloves, red leather hobble dress, white chastity bra, and white leather gag after a few events.
 

The API partially works - that is, if the theme is specified explicitly. My mod which patches Devious Interests to use Curses's API to equip themed devices still applies themes correctly when specifying the theme explicitly. So it seems likely it's just the MCM "Use Device Themes" setting not applying correctly?

Can confirm, the themes aren't heeded, got equipped with random devices. That's back to 0.8.4 for me.

I'm a little confused why the mod isn't detecting the vivi'a cockcages mod. The cockcages themselves DO work and are findable and usable via an additem mod, yet devious curses isn't seeing them at all in the mcm. I DO have gendered chastity on, the issue isn't the mod "not working" it's not seeing it as an option:

Am I umissunderstanding something about where they should be int he load order? I dragged BOTH mods down to the very bottom of my load order in case something is/was preventing them from loading right, loadorder wise, but yeah... no dice.

Same for me. Also, in MCM, the warding charm probability slider is glitched and i can't set it to 0.

We need some exclusion mechanic for random events triggering. Like sickly farmer in Kynareth temple in Whiterun equips a device or Laura in her shop jumps on the player and together with Katarina force themselves on the player (not that I am against it ;p). Needs some sort of logic.

ESLifier just throw a warning that DeviousCurses now has a dll that references Devious Chastity Piercings (which I've compacted because ... well it should never have been a regular ESP to start with). Is this going to be a problem? (I.e. is your skse plugin referencing anything in Devious Chastity Piercings by FormID?)

Yes, I agree.

 

I mentioned this issue a while back, in this post, where I said “The random sex feature, as it currently stands, can produce thematically unreasonable sex scenes with NPCs that are not appropriate.”

Hi Cybercheese,

 

Returning to pornrim after many years, I'm finding your mod to be an absolute gem. Love the ideas in here, esp the oppressive devices, lewd curses and consequences system. The contraptions are a nice touch too... 5 years ago it was all alot more primitive and janky(ier)

 

I have noticed one thing though - no aggressor/victim tagging for uh, "classic" sexlab. I assume this is because your development is geared towards a SLP+ loadout?

Would it be a bother to add an option for aggressor/victim tagging for the sex events? Its the one thing that feels missing or incomplete for classic sexlab users. 

 

(Would also really love the option to add a few zeros to the lewd curse event parameters, for idiots like me who really dont want the marks to come off for a long time. Defaults don't have to change. But I'm just kinda wishlisting at this point.)
