sikamikanico78 Posted June 23 Posted June 23 so nice to see an update and thanks for adding the tattoos in the consequences!! 3 ideas suggestions i just had for future updates are: spit consequence: the npcs will spit on your face and body (there are actually some textures out there for spit attacks but i dont remember the creator atm...was using them at LE) dickslap attack: cum textures could be applied on the pc during a hit in combat devious attack: devious devices could be locked on player during a power attack (mostly plugs or gags and rarely cuffs..cause binding the pc hands in combat will mean insta-defeat)

I use the Living Latex variant with the nipple cutouts. My guess is that the recent versions of Mu Dynamic Normal Map have difficulty generating the normal map around the nipple cutouts and cause CTD. Clicked Help > Return to Default 3. Enabled Misc > Use Device Themes 4. Triggered a regular device event I confirmed my current theme file works on 0.8.4. My theme file content is: [ "black & leather" ] But the theme isn't working. For example I got pink catsuit gloves, red leather hobble dress, white chastity bra, and white leather gag after a few events. The API partially works - that is, if the theme is specified explicitly. My mod which patches Devious Interests to use Curses's API to equip themed devices still applies themes correctly when specifying the theme explicitly. nekonoll Posted June 23 Posted June 23 I'm a little confused why the mod isn't detecting the vivi'a cockcages mod. The cockcages themselves DO work and are findable and usable via an additem mod, yet devious curses isn't seeing them at all in the mcm. I DO have gendered chastity on, the issue isn't the mod "not working" it's not seeing it as an option: Am I umissunderstanding something about where they should be int he load order? I dragged BOTH mods down to the very bottom of my load order in case something is/was preventing them from loading right, loadorder wise, but yeah... no dice.

Is this going to be a problem? (I.e. is your skse plugin referencing anything in Devious Chastity Piercings by FormID?)

I mentioned this issue a while back, in this post, where I said “The random sex feature, as it currently stands, can produce thematically unreasonable sex scenes with NPCs that are not appropriate.” 2

Love the ideas in here, esp the oppressive devices, lewd curses and consequences system. The contraptions are a nice touch too... 5 years ago it was all alot more primitive and janky(ier) I have noticed one thing though - no aggressor/victim tagging for uh, "classic" sexlab. I assume this is because your development is geared towards a SLP+ loadout? Would it be a bother to add an option for aggressor/victim tagging for the sex events? Its the one thing that feels missing or incomplete for classic sexlab users. (Would also really love the option to add a few zeros to the lewd curse event parameters, for idiots like me who really dont want the marks to come off for a long time. Defaults don't have to change. But I'm just kinda wishlisting at this point.)

It only references Devious Chastity Piercing.esp to equip a device during the Ringmaker quest interaction, but if the form doesn't exist it just wont equip it. 2

Sadly, on a new game the marks still work, so I suppose that is the price for upgrading. Edited July 1 by Siudhne

I've never manually turned off cages, as I've never even ADDED them till right before I did the testing. If there is some file somewhere with a blacklist/exclusion list I'd gladly check it, just don't know where that would be.

First, some background: SSE v. 1.6.1170 version history during this playthrough: Devious Curses NG v. 0.7.4 02/02/26 --> v. 0.8.2 02/16/26 --> v 0.8.3 Hotfix 06/30/26 --> v. 0.9.0.1 When I upgraded to v. 0.9.0.1, there were no curses active. Checked with Resaver and there was nothing to clean. I did not, however, actually make a clean save at that time. No crashes, freezes, whatever (or at least none that had anything to do with this mod, lol) Random sex turned on I already had 2 lewd marks, not curses, just the tats as the result of either this mod or another mod's actions Looted something, message box appeared that I had the painslut curse. Fine But. Doesn't show up in magic menu effects page. Others have in the past, pre-update. Madness Plug shows up (see pic) Opened console and Painslut is listed as an active effect along with all the other Lewd Marks. Is it supposed to show up in the magic menu? Always nice to know where things stand. I even tried the debug menu to remove the mark and trigger another lewd curse. That doesn't show up in the magic menu either. Jul 4, 2026 - I've dropped my ward, reinstalled lewd marks to make sure the glow patch is NOT installed, and anything else I can think of (disabling visual effect, turning surprise on, turning it off again, turning no message boxes on, and off again). 4 times I've gotten a message that X is going to attack me because I'm so aroused. This is a Painslut message, right? If that's the case, then something is out of whack because X is always one of my followers and they only spank me. Happened with 1 mod follower and 1 vanilla follower. Jul 4, 2026 - Are followers reacting to Painslut because I have followers checked under consequences menu? Then maybe it's working as intended. I thought that would only apply to stuff on the page, not lewd curses. I was eventually attacked by a bandit - couldn't see what animation was playing because too much going on and combat kept disrupting positioning. Under the sex menu I disabled device filter and enabled creatures. Painslut event triggered with a riekling, no spanking. Putting what I think are the relevant settings behind a spoiler. Spoiler About the madness plug, when I first looked at it in the menu, it said I needed 0 orgasms. Now it's a very high negative number. Since I don't want it on forever, I'm going to remove it via the debug menu for now. A suggestion for the Heat mark: instead of just having to open # containers, add consequences to opening them. Maybe for the duration of the curse there's an additional 25% chance of getting a tattoo or bondage device. Just a thought. About messages, if I check the 'no message box' option does that mean no information at all or will a notification appear in the upper left hand corner? You can probably tell by the question that I have no programming experience! I just now tried a clean save. Same results as above, but somehow I no longer have the 0.8.3 Hotfix archive. dirtybrains Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I noticed an issue with the most recent version (0.9.0.1): The 3 unforgiving devices sets (witch, scout, and warrior) don't appear to actually equip anything when the curse triggers. I tried it on a previous version (0.8.5) and it worked, where the only change was the devious curses version, so I'm guessing this is a new bug?
