You'd have to learn how to extract the sprites from nude emerald and then import them into your ROM hack manually. Though, if the ROM Hack was made with a decompilation and not with Hex Maniac Advance or a similar tool, then using Hex Maniac Advance may not work. It did not work for Emerald Legacy, for instance. It could be a case by case basis. 1

I was missing the activity this thread used to have, where there used to be new posts (including progress) for it almost every day, and now it's like every once in a while. It may just be because we have one main artist now in Personmcguy, meaning we have less chaos, and I just have to port personmcguy's sprites. I fear that his presence has demotivated others from contributing. The fact that we often discuss sprites in DMs also does not help matters. Although it does let both of us get our thoughts out quicker, it means that the thread gets less activity and only really gets personmcguy's final versions after Mx. Downbad and I have given our thoughts on them. So, you don't get the progress shots like this one: Maybe I can try to convince Personmcguy to post more in-progress images here for you guys? It is definitely possible that people are moving on from nude mods. They're a niche when you really consider it. You have to actually participate and play a game to see the "sexy stuff", just like with nsfw games on itch.io, newgrounds, or some sort of piracy site. AI porn is probably not helping matters. I once saw someone on twitter just use an AI to make Oleana naked in a screenshot that looked like it was in the game and their entire account was that with similar characters, Pokemon or otherwise. There's new threads for new games on this site regularly, and while I think it's annoying there's a lot of Patreons and Discords that handle nude mods now which make them harder to keep track of. This project specifically hasn't gone through that much time either. The thread is 1 year 2 months old. The project is older but I don't think it reaches 2 years. You could AI nude game screenshots 2 years ago. I couldn't say why this project has slowed down though. Probably just only so many people that want to do so many nude sprites for Pokemon. Maybe because the thread is so big it's harder to join now.

personmcguy Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) I won't deny that perhaps people may be "demotivated" by my contributions, but I will never ever discourage someone from helping contribute to this project or expressing/sharing their work! In fact, as you have also noticed I have been somewhat less present here due to being a bit busier now during the warmer seasons, and make no mistake, I am in no way losing motivation or planning on quitting doing sprites here, but if anybody feels that its a little slow right now and want to contribute, now is the best time! Even if you have little to no experience spriting (like I did when I first started on this thread), if you want to submit sprites, please feel free to do so! Sidenote: another reason I think it feels slow is because last year we had ZA launch which naturally brought more traction to all things Pokemon. Right now we're sort of in an awkward downtime between Pokemon games, hell even Champions release was still a couple months ago now. The main reason for the major traction during the beginning of the thread is just the natural momentum from the new project. When we finish projects and start new ones, the same thing usually happens too, its just how internet traction and momentum works sometimes Edited May 25 by personmcguy 2
