Greetings!

I feel like the main thread has gotten way too long, so I am making a new thread specifically for the nude mods I am managing.

I will usually only make one update per week, unless I get more sprites than usual.

 

Rules to the thread: 

• No sharing ROM files. xdelta patches are totally fine, just not the ROM itself.
• Due to the collaborative nature of this project, joining and contributing sprites means that you consent to them being edited to add any adjustments needed. If you do not want them edited beyond my size and palette edits, please DM me and I will put a red background around your desired sprites on the shared sprite sheet so that people know not to edit them. Please note that I would prefer if you allowed the community to make sprite edits. A lot of the people here are really talented and offer great suggestions! But, if this is what you wish, let me know.
  • This applies to artists.
• Be kind and respectful to others. This may be a nude mod project, but I want people to be as respectful here as they would be in any other modding environment. If you have any concerns about another user, please either DM me or let the thread know. I do not want anyone mistreated here. We're all here just in good fun. Also, don't make offensive jokes or be lewd with the child characters. That's not cool.
  • This applies to everyone.
• Do not call any sprites bad, ugly, or poorly-made, etc. We want constructive criticism here, not hate. If you have a problem with a sprite, point it out constructively. Then, I will add a pink background to the sprite and other artists will know that that sprite needs edits. And feel free to make your own edits of their work.
  • This applies to both artists and non-artists.
• Remember that the other artists contributing sprites are your teammates, not your rivals. While jealousy is natural, remember that we are all on the same side. If someone makes a sprite of a character you wanted to make a sprite for, there's nothing stopping you from making your own. I can then take parts from both of your sprites and create a definitive version.
  • This applies to artists.
• Sprites of a sexual nature will not be accepted into the project. This is a nudist project, not a lewd project. Remember that.
• Please avoid discussing lolicon, shotacon, and pedophilia in this thread. I know that, since we're editing all the sprites, the young ones will be edited as well. Rest assured that I will NOT accept sprites that are blatantly of a sexual nature or made by a known pedo. Nudity is not inherently sexual to me, no matter what age the characters are. If you have concerns about a sprite, please DM me directly and I will take appropriate action.

 

Right now, we are doing Heard Gold and Soul Silver, which have been given the names Hairy Gold and Shaved Silver.

The order is:

1. Platinum, Diamond & Pearl
2. Heart Gold & Soul Silver (started on page 33)
3. Gold, Silver, and Crystal (started on page 69)
4. Ruby, Sapphire, & Emerald (started on page 85)
5. Fire Red & Leaf Green (started on page 96) < currently working on
6. Black & White (posted on page 98)
7. Red and Blue
8. Black 2 & White 2

Do you want to know how to patch Platinude?

First, download the most recent version of Deltapatcher.

After that, you will want to download the Platinum ROM called "Pokemon Platinum Version (USA) (Rev1)".

The Xenophobia version, and any hacks made based off of it, currently do not work. I am working on making a version for that ROM.

Put the ROM you want to patch to in the first box.

Download the most recent version of Platinude and put it in the second box.

Go to the gear and turn on "backup original file." You may need to turn off checksum validation if it does not work the first time.

Hit the "Apply Patch" button to hopefully apply the patch.

I hope this helps. I do not like having to explain this multiple times, so I'm just putting a tutorial here.

Remind me to add your name to the opening credits in the next update. (Will probably be sometime next weekend if everything goes to plan.)

 

I just think Platinude is a way more unique name than (Pokemon) Nude Platinum.

My problem with the two of the emerald hacks is that their names are really similar (nude version vs nudist edition), so a more unique name is much appreciated.

The way nude and Platinum intersect at the end just works so well.
The only thing that kinda stinks is that Platitude is a word used to talk about something boring.

Yeah, the other titles u wanna work on r kinda difficult to come up w unique names...PlatiNude just fit too well not to voice out :3

Can't we twist this to just imply the nudity is... unremarkable?

 

Like yeah everyones naked but it's not technically a big deal.

Considering the minimal text edits that are going into this, it functionally implies the entire region has gone nudist for long enough no one cares anymore

Right now it is exclusive to vanilla platinum to my knowledge.

However, my goal once all sprites have been added is for it to be able to be patched to any Platinum ROM.

As someone who is completely new to pokemon modding (patching) and has always just used pre-patched rom hacks from Ducumon, with no other mods on top of that, why *wouldn't* this be able to be patched on top of something like Renegade Platinum?

I'm not really familiar with romhacking, but something tells me because renegade Platinum is almost a different game with a lot of stuff added onto it, the file structure looks a lot different compared to vanilla.

I messed something up somewhere while making it, I think.

Maybe editing the text the way I did interfered with the code. I don't really know. I'm still pretty new to all of this.

Welp, I came down with a cold/flu, so I can't do any updates this week.

 

So, I'll use this time to graph my schedule:

I only have time to make patches on three days of the week.

The other four I am way too busy with work and will only be able to check the threads sporadically.

So, you won't see any patches on those days.

You can still submit your sprites during that time but just know that I won't be able to add them until the weekend.

Sadly, no. Unlike in the world of Pokemon, status effects cannot be healed at a Pokemon Center for free.

Oh, well if you are good at making new sprites or know people on other platforms who are good at making nude sprites, you can ask them to check this thread out and see if they are interested in making more. We can always use more artists.

Noted, bookmarked. Just kinda waiting to be called on for Black & White. Don't want to start on something and have to re-do it due to organization or some technical detail. Just want to make sure the effort is structured and squared away like Platinude so it can go smoothly with no confusion.

Having its own thread will definitely help keep it all organized and much more easily discovered.

I hope the flu bug you caught isn't as serious as the one that swept through here recently. It actually hurt to go outside because the air would sting my throat.

Waiting for Black and White is fair.

All I'm waiting for in Platinum is for someone to change the last female sprites, being the old ladies, and also to finish making Lucas and Barry's sprites.

I've accepted a long time ago that most male sprites will not be changed because there isn't enough interest for them.

If we go two more weeks without these sprites at least being subtracted from a little bit, I think I'll just make a final version.

I still also need to fix the schoolboy's front sprite on the overworld.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

While we are waiting for Black and White, it would be a massive help if you all would compile the already existing nude sprites.

There are probably several in the main thread, in the three motherloads, on places like gelbooru, rule34, pixiv, deviantart, and maybe even on twitter.

"Panties Unnerf" is probably the biggest mod on the main thread for black and white npcs. I also remember seeing Hilda get her back sprites changed on here.

 

If someone could compile all of these, that would be a massive help.

I've been feeling better. I think it's just a cold now. Some of the yucky feelings came from me not reading the medicine instructions right and consuming them on an empty stomach.

 

It's crazy how just a few shadows made the sprites look so much better. The feet on sprites 2 and 3 may need some work, but other than that (and the hat rotating, which I can easily fix), this is great!

I won't be able to add these into the game until next week, though. I'm sorry. I just get busy during the week sometimes.
