[Animation] NAF Surrender (Updated 05/28/26)

Hello

 

for me the ESM version works
I don't know if this is the case but I noticed when in the sound folder it was Nafsurender.esp

I renamed it to Nafsurender.esm and I got the sound.

I REALLY want this mod and for it to work. I did have issues with the CTD and also enemies after sex just becoming non responsive and becoming passive. is any of this fixed in this update of should i wait? All of your other mods work perfectly. hehe

Gray User has never had an issue with getting this mod to function fine, so I'm inclined to believe that people that crash on script activation are experiencing so purely because of mod interference. @sophiextime when you start a new game, does Surrender work fine (the first pirate encounter on vectera)? For me it always works fine in the beginning.

I had this problem before with an old save, where the mods were loaded in the wrong order.


It also doesn't hurt to delete the logs from SFSE, it also causes minor bugs from time to time.

I can at least say that the mod runs pretty smoothly so far.

I would like to put back AH compatibility version, but do not want angry users because of CTDs. Did you (or anyone?) have the AH compatibility version work for v3? I will add back a test version that uses esp not esm. 

(I worry that CTDs are either because something in engine is making script not update correct if it link to another mod, or because I did not pack esm correct and there were shitty record compression problem when updating to v3).

Based on my experience, and my understanding of how Surrender works, I am 90% sure the CTD is caused by certain mod or effect conflicts. I've never used the AH integrated version, but given that Wolfe6900 himself instructed you on the integration, I doubt the AH version would cause any issue vs. the regular version.

Depend on how. If it is human race id in the game, with just alien meshes over same skeleton, will work no trouble maybe. 

 

If it is human skeleton but ID as different race in game/CK, will not work right away but probably can make it work. 

 

If it is custom skeleton, it would have to get own animations and probably will not work.

I'm interested to know what mods you had wherein load order fixed your CTD. None of my mods had any conflict with Surrender as far as SF1Edit could tell. Granted, I had not re-enabled Surrender since last time, and I've recently removed a bunch of mods.

Thank you. This is good to know, you are only user who seem able to do any troubleshooting about the CTD, so if you had trouble with not AH version, probably that it not issue. 

 

Do you know if esp version work for you?

It is ok if no, but would you be willing to post mods/load order? It would be good for me to figure out what mod or other thing is causing CTD (I suspect aliases not filling, but do not know why).

I'll download it real quick, but to be clear I haven't actually run Starfield in a while yet since I decided to install and modify my entire mod list around Starvival.

@Gray User I will give it another try as i really want it to work and i need your mod! lol. . I do run a lot of mods but i have them all working just nicely and the game runs a dream with over 100 mods. The animations work nice with the Seduce mod and it works perfectly with the animations with no hiccups. . Its just the Surrender Mod that messes me about. Sometimes it will CTD the moment surrender tries to activate when i am badly injured and the mod starts. Everything stutters for a moment, screen freezes then CTD to desktop. . Sometimes it didnt CTD and the sex animation would run and play fine but then once it completed and i moved on from the scene, the hostile enemies all became passive. Even to the point of acting like i was not even around them. I could shot them at point blank range and they would not react or look at me, just take damage. Was a bit creepy hehe. 

 

I will add the mod again and see if it plays nicely. 

 

Personally i have no idea exactly where the logs are that i maybe should delete your suggesting @xinda or even exactly which ones to delete. Where is the path to those? i generally don't mess with the game files but if it helps.. lol

Here is my mod list in Mod organiser 2. I have no idea if this will help you or not hehe if its not then do ignore it. . But this is my mods without Surrender installed and having used LOOT. This order at the moment runs smoothly for me in game and no issues . I will add Surrender and see how the mod acts.

OK so more feedback LOL ( i hope any of this is helping).

 

I installed your v3 esp version. Seems to work! A few oddities occurred which i will explain. So i loaded into Neon. Tested the mod by shooting at a security guard. Whole of Neon went into alert LOL. civilians ran away, Sarah had a angry fit and started having a go at me for shooting a guard and the guards opened fire and dropped me to the surrender health threshold. Pop up appears saying i am hurt and that i get stripped etc. Then animation starts. No CTD( yay!. ( i do need to see how i maybe shorten the animation as it does go on for quite a while for me). Then when animation ended and i stand and i then get a pop up saying i have seconds to escape. I chose not to, to see what happened. The guards seemed calm., i didnt get shot at by them as they was not aggroed. So i tried talking to one of them. I saw then that i had a huge bounty i guess for shooting at them. he then threatened to take me to jail. I refused and they started shooting. So it seems the enemy ( security guard this time) dont agro after that cooldown escape option.

 

I had the same thing happen when i tested it on some bandits. I went down into Ebbside ( underground area in Neon). found some bandits. shot at them. Same sequence occurred. got injured to threshold, sex animation starts then i get pop up after to escape. i remained and stood near them to see how they reacted . they just went into normal calm state and even talked to me like i was not any enemy. but when i shot at them again the whole fighting started as usual and surrender again started when my health was low.

 

So at the moment Surrender for me seems to remove their aggro. They will become violent if i shot at them but if i dont they seem calm , like nothing ever occurred. Now the bandits in Ebbside was not aggressive when i found them. Maybe it just reverts to what ever state they was in when i encountered them? as these Ebbside bandits are from a gang mod and only aggro if you attack them. if you dont they just ignore you. So i am curious if the regular default enemy like spacers from the game itself who ARE aggravated when you meet them, do aggro after sex. Yet if its security guards or Mod gangs that maybe are not aggressive unless provoked, revert to that same non aggro state after sex, if that makes sense.

 

Also on a side not a few things. 1) i find the females that have sex with me are fully naked. They dont have a futa cock ( which i so so so wish there was a mod that added that. If anyone knows of a mod that gives female NPC's a futa cock i would love to know! ) , but they are naked as i use the ZBB female body mod so i guess it reflects onto female NPCs. However all males seem to have underwear on during sex. Is there a mod i should be using to make their genitals show and for them to be fully naked and show a male cock?

Also, for sake of testing, i did try changing the name of the esp to esm as my Mod Organizer 2 throws a fit if i try to use an esp file. However even though i could load the game with the file changed to an esm, i did always get the CTD when sex was initiated. So i can only get this mod to work properly if its an esp. I do get sex sound too which is nice.

Good to hear it work.

 

You need a male body replacer. I use Robert body (and copy erect body mesh over flaccid mesh so naked males are always erected). Someone good with meshes could make the erected penis into an equipped futa penis maybe, but I can not get custom meshes to export and show correct in game (why there are no strap on or bondage gears for this mod). 😔

 

About enemies not being hostile right away, I do not know. That maybe is something you will have to live with. Might be that other mod changes enemy combat AI?

This mod uses tcai to turn combat ai off, then turn it on again at end. Normal behavior is combat will restart if hostile npc detect you. 

 

To set mod options like how long scene are you must use console to go to test cell (explanation is one download page). There will be computer to change mod options there.

Hey, the logs are in the SFSE folder, Documents\My Games\Starfield\SFSE\Logs 
(Normally if you use a different folder structure via steam in the starfield folder)
direct. You have a really overloaded mod collection ^^.
I had lost track of it either. 
What I can tell you is that all mods that change or add clothing should be loaded relatively late,
and mods like body morphs that load right at the beginning, 
after important changes like better NPCs or something like that, like NAF Surrender, should be loaded right at the end.
As far as I know, if you want additional stuff for Futa content, I don't think you'll find anything right now.
 Unfortunately, you have to experiment a bit with the mods. Some mods are extremely incompatible, 
especially when they change similar things.
and one more don't move your character too much once naf has started otherwise there will be small positioning errors.


For the sounds of NAFSurrender, 
To make this clear for everyone, 
you need to rename the following folder,
 
which prevents it from finding and executing the files:
"Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\sound\voice\NAFSurrender.esp" to 
"Documents\My Games\Starfield\Data\sound\voice\NAFSurrender.esm." 

I still hope I can give you a few tips.

 

 

And grey how about if you take the NPC until you have bondage devices and position them appropriately for the bad ending?
 e.g. for choke the NPC holds the character with his hand up in the air.

(File path might be different for other install - mine are in steam not documents)

 

Renaming folder only needed for people who downloaded esm version before I took it down. For esp version, folder should already be correct. 

 

And now that I know about problem (many thank you!) if I release an esm version I will make folder names in that version correct. 🙂

The esp version suggested to use works perfectly fine. But Mod organiser 2 throws up a fit at the start saying that Starfield doesn't support esp files and that iot can break saves! lol . Am i gonna be ok using surrender as an esp? i havent seen any adverse effects in game yet.

i have about 7 ESPs running since the beginning of that save,

no problems by now.

i think, if there are not too many, it´s no big problem....

i got Issuesofspacefarer, enslaved, auctionhouse, lostinspace, nafsurrender, shipstorage as ESP without a problem....

in short, if the amp kicks in, it completely fries the camera alignment.

I mentioned this last time, but more info on this is that certain mods that also affect camera control (such as Starvegas Killcam) MAY also break and lock the camera IF the implant activates at the exact same time as the mod's control. In both cases, doing a random series of tfc, coc, and save-loading somehow ended in me fixing the camera back.

I am maybe wrong, but understand is that esp and esm work basically same, just esm is compressed in way that lets you have a lot more esm (I think you can only have 255 or so esp? but game will break before that many from conflict and script lag). But if compression is not set right and carefully, can make mod that breaks game or breaks saves when esm is changed. 

 

Also, it much harder for end user to open and edit esm without it breaks things. I think that is set up for people who release VC paid mod and do not want them edited. My mod are free and I wish more users would edit/customize them, so I do not care. 🙂
