[Animation] NAF Surrender (Updated 05/28/26)

I think, the next two things that should be fixed asap are:

1. Action should start at player location.

2. A check if the NPC is still alive before the animation starts (he is dead, Jim!). Maybe the PC (or her follower) should not be able to still kill everybody when a surrender is already triggered.

"coc citynewatlantisstorecjs" is what I use. Should take you to CJ's in New Atlantis. Might not be the most convenient if you wanted to just go back to exactly where you were, but it'll get you out. lol

 Yes. Also, fast travel from cell should not be locked.

on SAF version, game version is current (with FL and TA update)  Note: SAF was updated today!

coc works - terminal works and test for capture works

sex with guards there works

neuroamp (non trapped works, did not test the trapped one) but no stripping if that was intended.

 

combat surrender is not doing anything - even set at 40% they just keep shooting until player dies.   Tested solo, with or without weapon drawn.

 

so not sure if its a SAF issue, MAC issue or issue with this mod itself.   Any or all having issues on latest game version etc.

I have the same issue. Might be consistent.  Used TIM and never triggered after standing around for a minute or two.

And player is mute. No sounds are playing during sex. This is not the case for Seduce. There, sound works.

Same problem, how do i sex with guards btw?

Dose this work wth ship boardng mod? my character freezes

I will try and make update and post. Complication is that SAF do not work well for me and I do not know why, so it is hard to test.

Ok, new version upload done. This should work, but:

 

SAF only work for me on some gameloads and I have to keep reloading game until I get a time it works (testing with console). I do not know if this normal or problem just for me, but if animation do not work for you, please use console to test (in that game load) before asking me about Surrender. 

 

Please to only install one version (esm or esp) and make sure there are not other version or old version still installed.

Guard should work now. 

 

I will update ship boarding mod soon, making version where there is chance of starting capture quest from this mod so not just getting boarded over and over. Also, sex scenes on ship sometimes break ship modules.

have you looked at the surrender in combat not working on Latest version of game (TA and FL update) and SAF v4?

And sound? The neuroamp animation (and the other animations probably too) has no sound. For Seduce you did something right you did wrong here, because: no sound!

Yes. Surrender v1.1 should work. If SAF V4 works for you Surrender should work also. This is what I have on my computer.

on a new game with 1.1 installed, everything including sound appears to be working as expected!  now have to figure out how to remove the included male body as I have one installed already and this one is over writing it and not functioning very well as I do not use the extended skeleton that Robert S body requires.

ok to over ride the male body in this, install this mod - then install the male body replacement you wish to use.   In my case its the SFM from the SFF mod, it works perfectly with this mod with no issues.

In Data\SAF\Animations

 

You need to make folder if it do not exist already (it come with Surrender mod though, if you copy surrender files correct you will have this folder).

I have sound from the player in the surrender and animation scenes.   Try a new game, once I did that surrender worked as intended while it only partially worked on mid play through addition.

OK, I got it working with this recipe:

1. Uninstall

2. Go to Venus, sleep for 2400 UT hours

3. Install again

4. Have fun!

 

Sound on player, capture, defeat and ransome prompt work. Remaining issues I encountered:

After escaping from capture there is no ship at the ship marker. So, I am stranded there. Idea: would be fun if you have to steal the captor's ship so they are stranded there.

The lights in the aaSurrenderCell are flickering (was not an issue before).

If I save in the aaSurrenderCell the game crashes reproducibly.

so I had that happen as well, you are able to fast travel to any major city you have previously visited like New Atlantis or Akila for example.

Yes, however for immersion I use a mod that limits fast travel. I use the setting where you have to sit in the pilot seat to be able to fast travel. Of course, I could change the setting anytime. However, I totally forgot that. I have then built an outpost with landing pad with ship builder terminal. Accessing the ship builder spawns your ship.

would it be possible to release a version of this that removes the Robert S body, the one used is broken and likes to over write the current body installed.   for a few reasons actually, 

1 - Robert S body has been removed from Nexus by the author as well as the original SF Skeleton that it used (also removed by author)

2 - there are more current options that are being maintained
