That's exactly what FModel is doing though.  Think of the .pak file as a zip file, and FModel as Winrar.  I'll do this one for you, only because I love the Dagger mod.

Extract and place in Characters Folder.  If I feel really bored I may do this with the other mods, possibly a google spreadsheet like the other guy had up.  No guarantees though.

https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/208?tab=files is working for Model mods, do a clean install of the game, run the mod manager, let it unpack the files then go into steam or epic and revalidate your download so it will reacquire the WWise, VFX, and Character paks. After it reacquires the paks, navigate to your games Pak folder, which is where you used to install mods, and either delete pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak or rename it to a .bak file like you did in the above video. You can install your model mods with the manager after that. There are lots of helpful comments on the managers mod page if you need help or you can ask and i'll try.

Alternatively I hear there is supposed to be a manager released by the Rivals Reconstructed team this weekend which should make all of this pretty simple.

I used a different guide and figured it out. Thank you tho!

Does it crash for anyone else as soon as you click on the battlepass menu? I have one mod installed with an updated version of both the mod manager and mod yet it crashes any ideas?

To those still dont know how to use mod in season 1 , here is a guide

 

download the latest Mod Manager , 

 

backups these three files in Paks file , pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak,     pakchunkWwise-Windows.pak,      pakchunkVFX-Windows.pak

 

start Mod Manager and wait for a while,

 

restore these files,start game check whether it breaks up,if  working,then delete pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak

 

now you can add mods in Mod Manager,   .paks or .zip both ok 

 

if mod is unpacked,  just zip up and make sure zip file has the right format .

Hey, all! Does anyone have a nude mod for Mantis and Luna Snow where they are completely naked and barefoot? I have the other ones, but them totally nude is my thang!

 

Also, big shout out to Morrowind for this guide. It works for sure. However, I struggled to read it, and I think maybe his first language isn't English, so i am going to type it up for easier understanding:

 

First off, definite huge thanks to MerryJoyKey who made this new Mod Manager for Season 1: https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelrivals/mods/208

 

Here is an edited guide:

 

Make sure to download the Mod Manager linked above. DO NOT RUN IT YET! 

 

Make back-ups of these three files. They will be in the game folder Marvel\Content\Plugins\Paks folder (I think) pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak,     pakchunkWwise-Windows.pak,      pakchunkVFX-Windows.pak.

 

IF YOU RUN THE MOD MANAGER BEFORE BACKING UP THESE FILES, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GAME. You will either need to reinstall the game, or reverify the files if you have it on Steam.

 

Once the files are backed up, run the Mod Manager. Go cook dinner or grab a bite to eat. It will take an hour or more to unpack all of the files.

 

Once the manager unpacks all of the files, restore the three backed-up files back into the folder you removed them from. Then run the game. DO NOT MOD THE GAME YET. Once you've confirmed the game runs without crashing, you will permantly delete pakchunkCharacter-Windows.pak

 

NOW you can mod the game. I know for sure paks work, but according to Morrowind, you should be able to add .zip files through the Mod Manager.

 

As Morrowing stated, if the mod is unpacked, just zip it up and make sure zip file has the right format.

Thanks for dagger. I have an attept to use Fmode with guides but it do not work for some reason. Now i am stick with ModeManager 2.0, since 2.1 crash game. And it do not recognize old pak. files.

jiggle was never the problem. it had to do with some skeleton/mesh that people needed to delete. many old mods are still unupdated unfortunately, the ones I'm saddest because of are the ones by Misberave. They refuse to update because they think the devs have an anti-mod boner and will squash modding out. Yet, if the fix is simple, arent the hours of fun gained for the minutes to edit it worth it?

i advise against mo2 the most because it tells you to start from their own launcher

For what reason?   Because the path is missing from the loose files?

I can likely advise where to drop it.
