I just downlaoded the latest version 207.

And started a new game for it.

but it doesnt work.

Ivans Bank is not there.

 

I cannot see the plug in  in my loaded plug ins list anywhere enabled or diabled.

I installed just like before: install the zip file direct with Vortex.

When I examine the folder form the mods list I cna see the .esp.

But the plug in is not loaded in my plug ins list.

 

Didnt have this issue with prior versions.

There was no change in method on my side. Maybe you need to enable mod after installation? I don't use vortex for ages now, so I don't quite remember, but new installed mod need to be ticked on before deployment (I wasn't using auto deployment as it was buggy for me)

You can also try pervert 030 from mod page. This is same version but with official number. I just updated mod page since there was some important fixes already.

Yeah, there is new feature with broken ATMs and some nice dialogues to it - check update details for command to run it when updateing.

@riveth Yes have been having computer transition pains. I am now on win 11 with a new system, and having a right time of it trying to get my game to run.(setup)

 

I still play however on the "potato" windows 10 for at least another year, so will be slowly working it out on new machine.

11 isn't "bad" just different, but not in a good way.

It's been 6+ months and I finally got it neutered so it works correctly without all the added garbage.

Make sure to install Steam, FO4 , MO2/Vortex and any utilities for them in an unprotected folder ie. "C:\Games".

Windows will be less strict with the files. I believe it is called Windows Protection.

 

There are tutorials on this out there.

 

Definitely not in Program Files or the default paths for any of these programs!

 

Steam has to be relocated after install. So do it first.

- did you took any loan?

- is there any dialogue with ivan? Yes. The dialogue with Ivan is the usual where he hasks me about if i am ready for the next job (so i was in the middle of the salacious quests for him to make money to pay him back)

- did you took any loan? Yes I was on ym 2nd loan. 

- is any loan quest curently running? Bth, the malfucntion ad the lakc of being able to get Ivan to talk about it ( after James directs me to him), I had a loan running, the 2nd loan. 

And now loan is paid off but same issue. I even went back to ATM and then reentered the conversation with James to try again now that my loan is paid off.

 Thank you much @judge007 I have my game currently on a secondary drive. I just need to get the technical parts of the computer up and running normal. Like assigning my gpu to the tasks. Setting up interrupts and such (I use MSI for that). It is a raw new system I have moved to and many considerations with regards to gpu settings to get it to allow the game.

 

And on top of the technicals, I am stuck in a loop because I have several .exe files I am trying to determine if they run as admin, or do I need compatibility mode(?). Hard to find answers sometimes doing the research. Not having had to set up on a new computer in several years makes a fella rusty. Even the explanation gives me a headache because I remember having to do this about 4 years ago with my windows 10 box.

 

Sorry for the long winded thank you, I appreciate any insight.

Thank you @izzyknows, now I don't feel so bad. I have been playing wack-a-mole for a couple of months. I even buggered my permissions so bad after 3 weeks had to reinstall 11.

I am on month 3+. So at least I am not alone.

ok i think I know where the bug is.  I probably didn't stop the timer. Takin loan should stop malfunctions, but the malfunction timer was already ticking and set off malfunction when on loan quest.

Unfortunatelly fixin bug won't fix your current situation. Look around Ivans Bank for a holotape. Use it in your pipboy to unlock account.

I updated mod page. Current version 0.3.1
after update type in console

setstage perv_atm_malunction 40 
 

or use holotape to unlock your account, both methods should work fine

Is it possible to load save before you create an account in Ivans bank and test if problem is really fixed or is it too much to replay?
Btw, how do You like Ivans note next to the holotape ?

@riveth Thank you, I am familiar with Chris Titus tools. I used it right before I buggered all the permissions and had to reinstall win 11. <<< clutzy guy here >>>

I am taking it way slower now. I just got in a big hurry to get it to work that I made some fatal boo boo's along the way.(FAFO)

Thank you for the insight, and yes from what I know the tools are run from elevated shell command, for the free version.

I have that command stored in a text file.

 

P.S. I do plan to create a win 11 thumb-drive for iso and win install/repair. I had them for win 10.

Redownloaded mod after seeing that it was updated, I'm excited to give it another shot but what worries be is this bug I was experiencing previously. Following one of the scenes PC would be teleported back to wherever they were but unable to interact with anything. IE doors, containers, talking with any NPC's. What would be the cause of this? Hoping this is some user error, cause it can make the mod unplayable

I'm currently working on this. Please hold up a few days. i will provide new version asap.

 

This bug happens when you have a script lag. Never happen to me on test setup. I had some time lately to test it in normal gameplay and have same bug. i plan to re-design this scene.
