Update on the next version

 

I am going to be away for the next week, so don't expect a lot of activity until mid-June.

 

The next version of DA should come out soon. I will have to test if it works well with my latest updates to SD before I can release them.

 

Devious Devices will be required for the next version of SD. This should be the last addition to requirements for the foreseeable future.  

The SD/Devious Devices patch will be integrated in the next version of SD, so that file won't be necessary anymore.

 

I will be working on adapting slave gear from Zaz to the Devious Device system, so it will still look the same but we will have the benefit of the advanced housekeeping system from Devious Devices, key management and access to other bondage gear from DD (now your master will be able to lock you in armbinders for the night if you have been bad).

 

One thing I am eager to try is DD's new leash system, which will help a lot making escape more difficult.

 

So yes... I had to add a new requirement yet again, but this is for the best long term experience.

 

If you hang tight through the changes, I am sure we will soon see SD as it was meant to be when it started last year :)

I just updated to 2.01.7z and installed Alternate death, but I don't see the SD in the onbleedout event setting. Did I do something wrong.

 

SD is not in the Bleedout Section but the Blackout Section of DA.

 

 

Sorry I wrote the wrong section but it not in the Blackout event setting I got all the other but not the SD enslavement or the SD Spriggan, and the SD dreamworld not in the radiant event setting too.

I have SD near the top of my load order... should that be towards the bottom? :blush:

 

When you're being punished, often times a certain pose will load. Is there a way to access that pose when you're not being punished? Example of what I'm talking about:

I put the mod now at the bottom of the load order, but to no avail. Here is a screen of my character "floating in space".

Notice how the HUD is deactivated and I cannot do anything. I let FNIS run several times.

 

Also the latest Papyrus.log, maybe it sheds some light to the mystery of this bug?

Did you disable the Ragdoll effect in DA's menu?

I've tried this mod a bit and like it.  Would like to add it to my mod list permanently but need to know if it works well with Captured Dreams?

Yeah that would be very interesting. Perhaps also wandering bandits bringing you to various bandit camps that is chosen randomly? Or some sex-trade? I'm just pouring out ideas all of the sudden but maybe also add a few slaves to certain locations that you can free or, if captured yourself, rebel against the entire camp and overthrow it?

 

Also just going back to my post before, When you're being punished a certain pose will load. Is there a way to access that pose when you're not being punished? Just a little curious as it'd add a little sense of helplessness :D

That's one of the poses from zaz animation framework. I will check which one tonight (on phone now ).

Thanks, good to know it works okay with CD.  I was play testing SD+ and ran into an issue.  Not sure if it's by design or just unfortunate luck.  Trying to run away from some Forsworn and the only exit out is sealed by a master level lock.  My PC is bound so this creates all sorts of problems.  Even if unbound the door is still problematic.  I will read the pdf when I have some extra time before I add the mod back to another game.

That's what its supposed to do :P I haven't ran into Forsworn with the new SD but I think they're supposed to hold you for ransom or enslave you

Hey, so I downloaded and installed this mod, started it with the Mod Configuration Menu and it works, partially. Bandits would capture me but when I get killed by a spriggan I just die, or I spawn somewhere else. How do I activate the spriggan quest?

Nothing seems to be working on the latest version.. I just respawn somewhere when I get killed. Falmers don't do anything, spriggans don't do anything, vampires don't do anything. I just get killed or respawned somewhere.

 

When I install the old version, the spriggan quest actually activates when I get attacked by a spriggan, but I'm still trying to figure out how I can get captured by a falmer or a vampire without getting killed or respawned. Can someone help thanks

Hi Skirimll, I've installed latest DA 4.50. But the problem with being immortal keeps on. (I've tried suicide throwing off a cliff to no avail). 

 

I was wondering if there is something wrong on my side or the issue will be finally solved with the next SD+ update?

 From the Bralormarr description on the 4.50 update it looks like it needs also an update on the side of SD+

I am working on the update on SD side.

I need to add a new quest for the OnDeath event he added.

 

I will try to release that this weekend. Otherwise, upgrading to the latest DA will not be recommended for a couple of weeks.

Also, after some frustrating troubleshooting, I found that Deviously Helpless is NOT compatible with SD.

 

The scripted scenes of rape after combat break enslavement for some reason.

 

What seems to happen is this:

 

 

(... scratch that)

 

 

Until I figure out a way to prevent enslavement from ending in the middle of eHelplessly Devious scenes, I have to consider that mod incompatible.

 

Edit: 

 

This was happening even after removing Helpless... the problem is elsewhere.Helpless seems to be working fine with SD so far.

Haven't visited the SD thread in almost a year only to discover that it is integrated into the DA framework;  which is -- awesome. Thanks Skryimll, SD now primary in my default build: DA+SD+SL as the core to the build. Loved the original SD, but it kept torching my saves, and now have something else to fear/fight to avoid @ defeat. And looking forward to the amazing work you're doing with Hormones, crazy good ideas.

I've tested a little bit more with the new DA 1.45 (installed and updated directly, no clean save).

Some happy news. 

The very annoying fixed camera bug seems gone. I was enslaved about 6 times and I was in combat. The dreaded camera bug did not happen once.

Actually I died sometimes. So I'm not completely immortal during combat, as it should be.

But I confirm I totally immune to falls. Falling doesn't not kill me... but I think this is something which was happening already with old SD+, even before the DA integration.

You are never completely immortal with DA with the default settings. There is a "large hit" setting and other deep wounds (like strong persistent damage over time) can kill you. As for the fall, you are right, you wouldn't die from any fall, although it'll leave you prone for 10s while you recover, which makes it easy for an potential enemy to finish the job, so to speak. The reason is that I am unable to distinguish fall damage from many other types of damage.

I really appreciate your work on DA and the way you've helped skyrimll and other modders in our LL community for compatibility.  Thanks for all your hard work.

 

PS.  I won't pat skyrimll on the back again, he probably still has bruises from all the other times.  

Ah hell, great job on SD+ skyrimll.  *more bruises*

I should add that the next version of SD will bring back immortality in the form of a trip back to Sanguine after the first time you visit him.

 

That will be handled through the new OnDeath event, so it will be possible to disable it if you don't want much to do with Sanguine (although, that could be a bad idea since most of your stuff is sent there now :) ).
