[Animation] NAF Seduce (updated 5/28/2026)

(after rolling NAF back., see previous post.., couldn't edit it again, so posting here)

 

edit 2 NAF Surrender, Gergel Ebanax DO both work,  ..... when rolling back NAF and Starfield to the older version, both do work (not sure why  NAF Surrender didn't work temporarily).., just NAF Seduce and SnuSnu Field DO NOT work.. Seduce starts up with dialogue choices, but the animations never start (just the sound SFX is heard)

(edit is SubscribeStar.adult trusworthy?.. wanted to support with a sub fee, but its not directly Loverlab and its from Russia or something...)

now Surrender stopped working T_T... are there known mods or creations that can cause issues with Surrender or Seduce?

 

especially Seduce would be great, if it could work

 

(saw affinity changing mods can cause maybe issues, are there any other possible mods and creations, that can cause issues?)

 

using Vortex atm, as Im new to modding

EDIT: just saw that you use vortex. Try copy User Animation Pack into data folder manually? I do not use mod managers, but I think the animation pack does not always work with them.

 

If seduce and surrender both do not animate, usually it means User Animation Pack is not installed right. Can you make animation happen from console? (see mod description for commands, but are just normal NAF console commands)

 

And what NPC does seduce not animate?

thanx for the feedback... 

 

In Vortex I could copy the files into -the file manager folder- or -the archive folder- of seduce or surrender.., not sure which to copy into, -file manager folder- OR -the archive folder- (gawd, im so new to this..)

 

in surrender, the characters strip their clothes and the sound sfx start (her pleasure voice), but no animatios.., same with seduce.. it starts up, but no animations

All animation files (from User Animation Pack, you must download this because it has the animation files) must go in (Starfield folder)/Data/NAF/

 

Can you post screenshot of that folder with content?

Here is a screenshot on how Vortex places the animations mod, here are the animations  placed (wondering if other mods are the animations from working..., F4s AAF animations work fine, there Vortex place them similart and they work.. and  Starfields Gergel Erbernax mod works too, but guess they have seperate animations)

 

would I need to open the surrender folder and place all those animations from the NAF folder straight into a surrrender folder (normal or archived?)... im new to PC modding.. (long time gamer, mid time Xbox modding gamer... new PC modding gamer)

Hello.

How do you  replace the custom animations from the ones in SnufSnuf? Because Snuf has 1 animation for each actor and if you replace directy it only show 1 actor.

Sorry, I do not have that mod, so do not know how animation for mod are set up. Not sure how there can be one animation file for 2 actors?

I do not use mod manager and do not trust them. 

 

If mod work for people using manager, that is cool, but if it act like files are not there I think most likely thing is mod manager is lying. 

 

Please copy all glb file from User Animation Pack into your Starfield/Data/NAF folder. They must be loose, in 'NAF' folder and not in subfolder or any other place. Hope that is helpful...

Snuf fiels are named 1M, 1F, 2M , 2F and so on. the 1M; is male actor for animation 1 and the 1F is female actor for animation 1. if the animatiins habe 3 actors they have 3 diferent files.

 

Iif you replace you custom01x01bot for 1M it only shows the male actor in those 20 seconds. 

 

im new with animations so probably is me doing something wrong.

Probably this can work. I use 'bot' and 'top' not F or M (for purposes of gay). 

 

If you replace my 'bot' files with 'F' file, and replace my 'top' file with 'M' file, thing should work. But alignment or time cycle might be off depends on how those animation are made.

In the custom animations, I use the ones from Snusnu and Ebanex,

and there are no alignment or offset issues.
They work well :)

Native Animation Framework + required

User Animation Pack (v 0.5 or higher for new animations)

They both work but I cant even coc 'aaSeduceCell'

 

Please look at reply on cross post you made in Surrender (probably you do not have this mod installed if coc do not work).

Hello

 

got Surrender and Seduce to work, by placing the animation files in the Starfield NAT Folder, but there's an odd bug with both Surrender and Seduce, my character and the sex partner lose their jaws during and after the animation.., they kinda look like Geth from Mass Effect (creepy).., saving and reloading fixes is it., but its creepy for the sex scenes.. not sure whats causing them to lose their jaws

Things to check:

 

I think mod is not enabled. Even if everything is broken, game should still let you coc to test cell if it exist. I do not know vortex, but can you post load order (with thing that shows what mods are turned on)? (and, did you get esp or esm version of mod?)

 

Once coc to cell work, if animation do not play, I would test to see NAF install is good by open console, select player, type

NAF play bridge01bot.glb

If this does not work, it also mean that NAF or animation pack are not installed correct

 

 

The command you show there worked for me. (Also coc aaseducecell works and so does the dialoge.)
However, I am still crashing when I select a position option in the dialogue (when the animation starts, right before they start going at it).

That is not good. I think this is from a skeleton change that other mod makes (check if other sex mod like snusnu or gergel includes modded skeleton). I do not use those mod, but someone early in this thread had and fixed this problem.

This is not good. Might mean that game tries to run multiple copies of script. 

 

Best thing:

(1) make sure only one copy of mod installed (not both manual and vortex)

(2) hard reset of mod. Try disable mod. Save. Load. Then wait 3 days in game. Save. Then enable mod. See if problem still happen?

THE ANIMATIONS NOW WORK (without odd jaw bug)

 

had to completely delete Gergel (not just disable in Vortex), ... then delete NAF, Surrender and Seduce fully, redownload and reinstall them all 3 again (and not just hit the reinstall button on Vortext).. but not Gergel (atm Gergel is tabu..., though might later reinstall later for other purposes, it has other advantages)

 

gonna start to stream Starfield soon (this weekend maybe).., parallel to Fallout 4 on Picarto..

There is a new Animation framework for the newest version of the game. It is called [SAF - Deputy NAF] (heres the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/16124). 

Hopefully we can start seeing some updates with this great mod now that there is a new up-to-date frameworks (hopefully the new framework is compatible).

Gergel Ebanex now works with SAF. There are instructions on the Nexus mods page, you have to swap out a few files, but it seems to work fine on my game. Hopefully this is a good starting point where other mod authors will start porting their mods over to the new framework.

Yes. Working on it. Gergel do not make psc files available, so cannot see how they did it. Early test versions I made were not reliable (very bad animation stutter often), but still working on it. Hope to have update before April 7 drop of new BGS content, but cannot promise this.
