[Animation] NAF Seduce (updated 5/28/2026)

EXCELLENT WORK!

Glad to see someone has cracked the dam.  Everything seems to be working well/as advertised but I have run into a strange anomaly (at least in my setup).  I can use the mod/animations anywhere except on my ship.

If I use them on my ship I get some strange graphic anomalies.  There will be a false hatch on the back side of hatch ways...but you can walk right through them.  The moving control panels in my Cabot bridge will have ghost images, both in the forward and back presentations.

Saving out and returning doesn't seem to clear up the anomalies.  I don't know if this is restricted to just this particular ship or all ships.  I'll give it a try on something else and see if the problem carries over.

Update:  I tried it again on a different (stock) ship and got the same anomalies.  Both anomalies that I've found are related to objects that move (hatches that open/close and control panels that move back and forward).

That makes me believe perhaps I've got a conflict between NAF and another mod that might involve animations.  ? ? ?

Interesting. It could be. 

 

I will try ship things (and other things) in the next month and will maybe figure out what causes the problem if it happen to me.

This mod has butt and boob physics and many more sliders compared to bbl. Its still early and has many seem issues and issue with face morphs for npcs. Their faces breaks if they talk.

But, you can set it to repeat each stage as many or few times as you want using debug terminal in aaseducecell (each repeat is 19 seconds). 

Thanks for letting me know about that. That feature does seem to be buggy on my end however, sometimes the scenes will play out longer as intended, other times they'll default to the original duration despite the increased values.

That is good to know. I think that means that quest is not reliable at updating globals (this is old problem in all other BGS games). I will write function for manual reset of quest in next update.

I get CTD right after the black screen of the dialogue.
Looks like mods are installed correctly, i got the Seduction Pheromone correctly and the animation works with console commands.
Guess I will try the next NG+

I think i'm in a unique situation.
TL:DR - I can get the animations to work manually via console command but not automatically via NAF Seduce dialogue.


I have all the mods required to get NAF Seduce going, and it is to an extent. After selecting a position, the screen goes black and nothing happens. I've tested the animations via console command, before and after the interaction, and they work. I've also experienced a thing via NAF Seduce dialogue where after X amount of time has passed my PC and the targeted NPC will go back to where i first initiated the NAF Seduce dialogue, then both will re-equip their clothes (if i have that option selected prior). <- keep in mind the animations are not automatically happening still.
I'm still trying to figure out where i went wrong with downloading the mods but having your expert input will be much appreciated. Please and thank you.

So pretty unique problem for this on my end.... it pretty much works perfectly fine if its in my ship. Anywhere else and the game crashes about 1-3 seconds after animation start. I tried to run the animations on their own and it works fine but as soon as the actors get close to each other in animation the game crashes with either

 

Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x000000000000

 
or 
 
Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x000000000001

 

Still, its an awesome add to the game & a very valuable tool! 

 

 

Edit: Also, I updated NAF from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3 and the same issue experienced by others, i.e. CTD right after the black screen at the end of the dialogue happens... so maybe there's something to be investigated?

for my part, this mod works perfectly on my game ...

this mod is great ...

I use ZBB's body which, for me, lends itself best to animations.

 

can't wait for more animations and voices 🙂

Those are not expected results. I can say there has not been update or other thing that would break this mod. 

 

 

Questions/things for helping:

 

What actor are you trying to seduce?

 

Where are you trying to seduce the actor?

 

What position are you selecting that causes crash/hang?

 

What do you install the mod with? Manually or which mod organizer?

 

What is your load order? (please to include all installed mods)

 

What version of SFSE (Starfield script extender) do you have?

 

 

Easy things to try for you

 

Try to seduce a vanilla companion in the test cell (aaseducecell)

 

If that work, it says that something is wrong with context that causes earlier problem (not good actor or location)

 

You could go to aaseducecell and try to reset quest using debug terminal. 

 

If that fail, try removing mod completely (and deleting files), loading game without mod, saving it. Then redownload and reinstall mod and see if that fixes.

I forgot that I already put a force update option in debug terminal. If you go to aaseducecell and use terminal to force update, does that fix problem? (if that does not work, can also try the 'set version number to 0.0' to force mod to reload main quest).

It does temporarily. On the first sex attempt. the animations play for the length I specified, but then reverts back to the origin length on subsequent attempts

I can see this too now that I look. In tests, adding additional repeats sometimes does not work, but remove repeats (like set stage 2 to only go one time) works. Is this also what you have? 

 

I will look at code and see if I can fix this for next update. Thank you for bringing to me.

You're welcome. I have mine set to do 5 repeats on the first two stage and 1 for the final.

Yes. I am seeing this on other ships (also vanilla ships) for NAf Seduce too. I will look into if is NAF or problem with how I am aligning actors maybe.

Really Nice!  Very good work.  I particularly like the way you set up the dialogues.  THIS IS GOOD.

 

I'm in the middle of a semi-infinite (in a good way) play-through, but I loaded this up to give it a spin.  I backed it out of the current universe, but it's definitely on the list for the next one (surrender too).

 

Bug report: The PC got stuck in place and in the "fall" animation used with boost packs.  After fast travel to a new location, the PC is still in the fall animation, but can move.  Sorry I didn't spend enough time to map out the bug trigger conditions.

Probably bug fixes update in month or so. After, probably another update in several months when I am done with other projects and have made more animation. 

 

And sound, when I have another 50 hours to fight with WWise bullshit. Last time ate several weeks of modding. 

 

Right now, there are no major planned new feature for this, just bug fix and new animation when I get around to it.
