Wolfoftheshadows Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Have no clue man lol, no later than Monday prolly. Just finishing up some minor details and etc Btw thanks everyone for the kind words it brings joy to my perverted little heart *sob* I think everyone can agree with this...
Wolfoftheshadows Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Remy do you know of any tutorials I can watch or give me some advice on converting. I think it's time for me to step up to the plate and start converting armors. I need to know what I'll need to get in order to help out or at least get them close and you can tweak them.
Kodiak Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I love the progress you have made with the Oppai Remy, really as with everyone else, I appreciate all of the conversions and attention you've paid making outfits for the body. With that said, could you shift priorities momentarily to nail down a working body slider? Unless someone else made one that I'm not aware of, that would be cool as hell. Cause here is the thing, with all of these outfits, once a body slider is made, guess what will need to be re-fitted to work with the slider. I'd hate to see a massive collection of sweet ass outfits not work with anything smaller then 100% body weight. I'm not giving you shit man, I love what you are doing, it just feels a little backwards to start making a sustainable library of outfits before the mechanics of the body is 100%. Or in this case, compatible with anything less then 100%. If however you have made the decision not to pursue a functional body slider, that's cool, just let us know. Because if that is the case.... I have some outfit requests hehheh. Again kudos and beer for a job well done so far and I am so loving the TBBP.
Wolfoftheshadows Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Well after smashing my head off of a wall for a few hours trying to figure out blender and how it works... it's time for even harder stuff...
remymartin1986 Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 @wolfoftheshadows: i know of alota good tutorials but im not home right now so i cant fish out the links untill then @kodiak: thanks , i know wut u mean though man. i tried to make it bodyslide compadible but it never transitions properly from 0 weight to 100 (everyting gets all distorted). i couldnt find very many topics about how to make a body "bodyslide compadible" either so it was either hold off on making conversions till i figure it out or just continue without. your right though i should really try to figure this out cause theres going to be two bodies unpbo and 7b-o to make stuff for soon. and yes ill take u up on that offer of beer now pls lol
OnlyHazeRemains Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Ah, bodyslide means the vanilla weight slider, now i get it. Well, bad news. Getting something slider compatible means you have to basically recreate the 0 weight body from the 100 weight body, and that for every single armor. If you do as much as merge 2 vertices or delete one or something it immediately fucks stuff up. Thats why most converters dont bother to do it. The process can be eased with lattice morphing but it will still be a lot more time consuming than the simple converts that remy did till now. And honestly, if you want Oppai then you take Oppai. If you only want 50% Oppai, its not Oppai anymore. So where exactly is the point? Theres so many body options out there, you'll find one for your taste. And if not you can recreate almost every body type with CBBE bodyslide.

I feel like it's impossible, but you get it to work. I want to help with converting, but I'm so new to it. I'm wondering if using something else to shape the armor first and than import it? Someone suggested 3dmax.
angelecdominion Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 @ Samurai_Smartie The problem with only 100% weight for the body is not all the NPCs are set at it and it causes neckseams, sometimes huge ones. For my character it's no problem because she's at 100 weight, but some NPCs are rather ugh naked now. I suppose people could use and exclusive body type mod but I can't get them working without major instability issues.
angelecdominion Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Sorry for the double post. @ Wolfoftheshadows- Nightasy has good tutorials on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/user/NightasyTutorials and also has a website you can subscribe to http://www.nightasy.com/index.php I'm not sure how active he is anymore though.
remymartin1986 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 @Wolfoftheshadows: try these i use 3ds max, i find it much easier than blender. you can get a trial version or student version if you want. (blender) http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Converting_an_armour_to_another_body_for_Skyrim http://www.loverslab.com/topic/11495-converting-armors-to-skyrim-the-blender-way/ http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/topic/5639-creating-skyrim-armor-in-blender-tutorial-series/ (3ds max) http://www.loverslab.com/topic/3129-modding-armor-for-chsbhc-bbp-tutorial-for-3ds-max/ (videos') @Samurai_Smartie: holy crap, that does sound like alot of work ...um sure "@Kodiak" realizes that too, hence his advice about making the bodyslide before even more armors are made using only 100 weight to avoid even more work to be done. thank u both for your compelling arguments on both sides, it gives me alot to think about @angelecdominion: man, funny thing is that i never even noticed that happens. i use BodyChange mod cause i dont like npc's to have same body as my character so i leave regular unpb for npc's. a bodyslide isnt out of the question but i cant guarantee that i will be able to do it (i wish my modding skills were better)
Wolfoftheshadows Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 ... ...... ........ ............... ..................... .......................... ............................. So I take it I need fallout to use the fallout mod manager... or can I just skip that part... ; ; I have the feeling that me converting armors was not meant to be.

I actually want to because it seems fun to me, but they don't make it easy for new people.
lizarman Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 7B-O update screens: new features added thanks to the "Samurai_Smartie", 3d labia, orginal oppai breast~ new version of UNPBO will also include 3d labia Very amazing body, pleasee continue this. What stand idle you use?
Kodiak Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Remy do you know of any tutorials I can watch or give me some advice on converting. I think it's time for me to step up to the plate and start converting armors. I need to know what I'll need to get in order to help out or at least get them close and you can tweak them. Here, give these a go. http://www.nightasy.com/skyrim_videos_public.php Nightasy has established himself as a Skyrim modder and he was self taught. He has committed this website and a tutorial video series specifically to teach us noobs everything from what is a nif to how to use all the tools of the trade like 3Dmax. Its good stuff, easy to follow, usually about 20 minutes a vid. It just takes time and patience. Two things I don't always have. You'll find the like brings you to the non-member section. These vids are the same as those in the Members section. the main difference is non-members watch vids off YouTube where members watch vids off his private server with a faster load time and higher definition. Give these a look, I think it will be a solid first step to get you started. Divines know this is something I wanted to master for years now since I was playing Oblivion and never give it the time it needs.
Dragonjoe69 Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 ... ...... ........ ............... ..................... .......................... ............................. So I take it I need fallout to use the fallout mod manager... or can I just skip that part... ; ; I have the feeling that me converting armors was not meant to be. The fallout mod manager is only used to unpack armor mods using bsa files, if the mod is packaged as "loose" files there is no need for it, a side note the oblivion mod manager does the same thing and there is no fancy set up needed, and there is a tool called bsa opt that is a simple exe installation that both extracts and repacks. Don't let it discourage you , It becomes a lot less confusing after practicing and reading the available tutorials, nytasy's is is a great place to start : )

I got mine from there and it's nearly identical if not the same one.

Silvist Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 @Wolfsoftheshadows - Its not easy being new to modding, i completely understand. I had been doing minor mods since oblivion. I really got into modding at the release of skyrim. I couldn't do jack crap for a long time. Like Kodiak listed above, nightasy tutorials are decent. Though he does skip over alot of shortcuts. I did use skype to stream for someone a long time ago to show them the ropes. The best thing to do is get used to the steps for getting the armor ready to mod. Which is typically import settings. I still have to refer to videos to make sure my import settings match. To be honest nifskope is probably the hardest to learn. I learned by comparing the settings of the nifs to other nifs done by professional modders lol. I still don't know what half it means, but I know it has to be like that in order for it to work.
remymartin1986 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 @lizarman: hey that is a pose from "pinup poser" mod, not an idle. You can get it HERE
