maybenexttime Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 I just read some sad news, and it seems like a lot of websites are confirming that this may all have been a hoax. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/12/05/fallout-4-bethesda-isnt-making-announcements-soon My faith in the survivor website is now on life support. I am not sure what to say. Does anyone else still believe Fallout 4 is going to come out?

I made a new thread because this focuses more on the hoax, and plus the last few pages of the thread was sidetracked from the actual topic of FO4.

The countdown at survivor2299.com isn't even counting towards VGX, so I don't see how this proves one way or another about the whole thing being a hoax. That said it's difficult not to get hyped up about Fallout 4, but I'm not holding my breath and I'll believe once something real is announced.

As I have stated all along the evidence for the next possible chapter in the Fallout franchise has been there all along ,but it's not found on some website, but within the game itself .

That would make sense even though I desperate want a brand new game engine.

I mean.... c'mon, how long do they expect they can get away milking the same engine?!

And I dare to say that I feel it's going to be on a new engine, but that's my guess. I mean this is the next gen so I could see Fallout 4 sitting on a complete new engine, if Bethesda lets go of gamebyro... which leads me to believe that we are expected to see many changes for the next sequel.
