Haha. Beta38 is not quite "polished" for release yet, so I haven't announced it.

I don't think I've ever seen a prompt over 6k tokens, and they're usually much smaller than that even. Take a look at the AI log to see what's in this massive prompt.

Alright, looks like I had configured my AIFF settings to remember A LOT of stuff. I'm talking about thinks like saving things I did 5 in-game days  ago are still being memorized for prompts, and they inflate the final prompt to stupid context sizes. Thanks for the hint.

I noticed that when NPC added through Sapience tries to initiate OStim scene, nothing happens. Also when two NPCs in a scene tell me to join them (vaginal notification), they change animation (to vaginal), but nothing else happens

Take a look at your Papyrus.0.log for clues on why that might be happening. Feel free to upload a copy here for me to look at as well if you can't figure it out from that.

I keep having the issue that the JSON file I added to the character override folder does not seem to be found.

It's a character added by some mod, its not listed in the skyrim_characters.csv but that should not be a problem, as I have learned.

I created a file according to the syntax mentioned here, I even added one line with "base_id": "FEA2FE" to it, since on the Mantella discord, this was mentioned to be safe, I am using the same name and the same ID the conversation file with this character has (conversations with the character work just fine and they are stored and summarized just fine, too).

I tried putting the JSON file in both in the ...\Documents\My Games\Mantella\data\Skyrim\character_overrides folder as well as in the ...mods\Mantella-98631-0-12-1725038770\SKSE\Plugins\MantellaSoftware\data\Skyrim\character_overrides

But it does not seem to work. At the start of the conversation I am seeing the info in the log that it could not find the character in skyrim_characters.csv and would now load them as a generic NPC. No mention of any overwrite files or at least an error message around a wrong overwrite file, nothing. It just does not seem to look for or find or load the bio of the character at all.

Any thoughts anyone? :(

The sapience issue didnt happen since, so i guess that was just random issue. About the other thing, cant get into a situation to replicate that :D

But right now another thing happened, and not the first time:

PC and NPC were having sex (OStim). NPC initiated the scene in Cowgirl position. After few seconds, in the next dialogue the NPC tried to change position into Cowgirl (I guess different type). In that moment, my game crashed. This happened several times today. Here is my Papyrus0.log. I tried to read it myself but im not that advanced to understand it (yet!)

Papyrus.0.log

Edit: sometimes in the exact moment NPC tries to change position my game crashes, happens about 50% of time

I now tried it with a csv file in the override folder. I now get the INFO it "matched" the character "by name, ID, race" (yay, getting further than with any JSON file), but then two lines after this again it says, it could not find the character "in skyrim_characters.csv. Loading as a generic NPC."

I am at a loss what is happening here. Nobody having seen this problem before?

It happened again, the moment the notification about changing position appears, instant crash. this time this one ExtCmdStartMissionarySex@(player name). PC and NPC were standing in an idle scene.

Hmmmm. The crash has something to do with animating / possibly due to OAR. There is a known crash with AIFF's animations + OAR, but it's not clear that this is what you hit here. Try disabling animations in AIFF's MCM to see if it helps (This setting is bugged and has to be re-disabled every save-load in the current version). Cause isn't obvious - Things look to be functioning correctly inside minai.

For support with general AIFF things, try the AIFF discord.

I am not using AIFF, I am using Mantella along with MinAI, since AIFF sounded terribly cumbersome to set up ... You think it's a Mantella-Issue?

Ah. Same response for Mantella then. Doesn't sound like a minai issue, try the mantella server.

Okay, so maybe I am stupid. I used Mantella and MinAI so far and it worked quite well.

I now switched to AI-FF, thinking it would be better, or more up-to-date. However, using the same LMM model and the same bio/personalities for the NPCs (I uploaded it to the AI-FF database correctly), it does not yield the same explicit LLM output. It's all very tame, sometimes even patronizing. Also, all the explanations and examples around prompts which I found here seem to be useless when using AI-FF ... where would I enter all the explicit prompt instructions around the LMM using/reacting to specific commands etc. when using AI-FF?
Are there updated instructions somewhere how to use MinAI explicitly with AI-FF? :(

Thanks to Min who thanks to his mod made us rediscover a new way to play Skyrim.

I wanted to ask for help because I have had the following error for two days and I can't find a solution.

Your LLM probably needs encouragement to be NSFW. In the Mantella prompt examples, I was encouraging it to be very explicit.

Here is the prompt head that I'm using, which works well with the recommended models:

Let's roleplay in the Universe of Skyrim. Mature/smut/kink/violent/racism/profanity/NSFW chat are fully allowed. This is a dark and mature setting with serious and sexual themes. You are encouraged to swear and use curse-words where appropriate.

The LLM is returning an error to you. Look at the logs to see why.

That wasnt it. I disabled them before, so I thought maybe they got enabled again. So I made sure they are disabled in both AIFF and MinAI MCMs, first scene went okay, then when NPC tried to initiate another one, instant crash

hello, i wanted to ask, is it possible to initiate sex while using Mantella and SexLab? Does SexLab need any extra specific addons? Because the -undress- and -thats hot- keywords trigger successfully, but the -sex- one does not work.

I must admit I haven't seen that work with Mantella with the last couple of MinAI updates either but I am swapping around with LLM's at the moment - Spanking definitely works

edit: Tried with meta-llama/llama-3.1-70b-instruct and -sex- definitely works so try that one.

Releases are going to slow down for a bit. Beta 38.3 is up / stable if folks want to use it. I'm focusing on polishing the existing features + getting everything in great shape, working towards the 1.0 release. The next release (Beta39) also depends on an unreleased version of AIFF, so it'll be a bit still before I can release that.

Beta38.3: https://github.com/MinLL/MinAI/releases/tag/beta38.3

  • Improve stability of Sapience system. NPC's should be randomly removed much less, if at all.

  • Fix server errors from new sex comments system

  • Completely overhauled the sex comment / dirty talk system. The new system is much more powerful and flexible. Different NPC's can have different personality types / likes / interests that will influence how they roleplay during sex. This is still WIP, and needs an interface / system to automatically import NPC's.
  • Optimized server performance by more intelligently querying and caching results from the DB.
  • Temporarily disabled follow commands until they can be polished a bit better.
  • Added routine to cleanup follow packages that got stuck on nearby AI's when loading a save.
  • Added logic to synchronize MinAI's disable animations function with AIFF's. This works around an issue in AIFF where the animation setting would reenable itself. If you disable it in minai, it will stay that way.
  • Fixed bug with radiant system that would sometimes cause the AI to think the player called out an NPC's name.
  • Moved Narrator profile to "Narrator Override". If you have an existing "The Narrator" profile (Separate from the default one), delete it.
  • Added toggle to config.php for stripping emotes like smirking from the LLM's response.
  • Added the ability to block certain events from the game from playing (Example: If you didn't want the LLM to react to you leveling up, you could block "rpg_lvlup" in config.php). See the events tab for what a given event's key is after it occurs in game.
  • Removed target requirement from some DD actions to make them work more reliably.
  • Added support for Sexlab Separate Orgasms.

Hey, great work on the mod Min, its lots of fun. I've been messing around with the API you've created and have connected it to Lazy Palm's excellent Binding mod. It has alot of poses, events and animations which the LLM is now made aware of. It should also be able to start a number of scenes through the action interface, as well some MinAI radiant scenes through prompts.

I've contacted Lazy Palm and he is ok with sharing this version. I think if you overwrite a working installation of Binding 1.09 with the attached files it should work, although it also has a soft dependency on SL Survival for crawling animations.

That's awesome! Nice work! :)

If this can be released separately (Or as part of Binding), I'll link to it from the integrations page.
