it is a bit strange, as i dont see anything in the log and also if i use the AI-FF xtts server and set the mantella xtts to a diferent port, mantella will use the windows xtts server also with a differen tport without problems,but AI-FF is not using the integratet xtts and also not the mantella xtts in both xtts server consoles nothign show up if type somethign into chat from AI-FF and my written text stay ingame as subtitle forever.

Cohere: Command R+ 08-24 is giving me the best and consistent results out of those I've tested.

The subtitles sticking around in-game forever means that the AI-FF skyrim plugin isn't getting a response from the AI-FF server.

 

The error you shared means that the AI-FF server lost connection to the database. I saw this once in my tests when AI-FF overwhelmed the database with too many open connections (The SKSE plugin appears to do a bunch of warmup calls when you load the game depending on how many NPC's are managed). The only time I encountered this myself was when I had a ton of generic NPC's added (Lots of guards). I haven't encountered this since then. I'm not sure why you would be hitting it with only two. I'm also not sure why removing the plugin from ext/ would solve this. 

 

One thing to try - Try removing the _DISTR file that ships with MinAI. This file applies a spell effect to NPC's in-game that allows the server plugin to be aware of various attributes associated with them (Such as factions, keyword, voicetype, arousal, etc). This does add load to the server, and could be related.

As someone who can't run XTTS locally, and don't really have the means to setup the runpod, I do wonder if AI-FF is ever going to adapt the same setup with xVAsynth as an alternative as Mantella did. Until then, just going to have to continue using Mantella, even though the potential AI-FF updates seem juicy.

One question though, I am a bit unsure by reading the current release patchnotes if the AI can choose sex scenes. Like for instance if the AI wants its dick sucked, will it trigger a sex animation where I am sucking their dick? Or will it simply trigger a random one?

 

And if it can choose relevant sex scenes, is it for both mods or just the AI-FF version?

Hey Min, for the hugging in VR my camera spins and I cannot find any VRIK no-spin patches anywhere for Approach Redux or Babo Dialogue. I see you play in VR, so how did you get hugging/kissing etc to work in VR? I only have no-spin patches from here:

Wtf 😭😭😭, I was sitting with Inigo and Serana at the winking skeever, when both of them got undressed and suggested we have a threesome, when I confronted them, Serana admitted that she was cheating on me with Inigo behind my back, and now wants to use to be a thruple 😭😭. 

 

Gonna have to sit down and do some major rewriting to the script now xDDD. Just wish there already was a version of your config for mantella that had it so males don't interact with each other too much. Inigo saying "Join us sweet cheeks" has left me quiet disturbed XDD. Either way, good mod, can't wait to switch up to aiff and see how it will work then.

Also, a tip: I've been testing the AIFF integration quite a bit, and I've found that the mistral-small-latest model from Mistral.ai is the strongest performing model that I've tried so far. Extremely consistent action execution and roleplay, while still being a cheap model. Highly recommend.

I am having the problem where none of my followers can speak.  Before installing miniai, every follower spoke. after installation, nothing. I even updated to latest ai-ff ~1 ago, to see if that might fix. no luck. perhaps there is something in the config file I missed / didn't do. I am unsure, as that is the only place I can think I missed because beyond basic settings for MO2, Skyrim version and the like, I don't know what else to do.

 

Edit: Don't worry about my issue. I have read others with the same.  I will sit back and wait for the answer. Having loaded MiniAi up and played around a bit, it works! Between Ai-FF, MiniAi, and a few other tools, the only thing left for some like me is an expansion of ref count or CPU core access (i.e. OpenMW) or some tool most haven't heard of. Thank you for MiniAi!

I tried latest 19 version with Mantella, during sex (OStim) NPC's were using keywords -kiss- and -hug-, and it always misplaced them from animation. Their position reset if I change stage of animation.

hey Min thanks for the great mod! had it working with Mantella, but since the switch to AI-FF the follower no longer seems aware of any of the devious follower stuff. he is aware of the excact debt, of arousal, can perform all the actions, etc, but is not aware of deals and never proposes any. The mod just keeps going until the regular devious follower 'hey we need to talk' triggers and forces me into deals. Looking through the psc/php scripts, I can't find where the ExtCmdAcceptDeal command is supposed to fire from. Any idea how to fix this?

 

Otherwise AI-FF is great and as you mentioned much more powerful than mantella. The prompts file on the wsl  (herikaserver/prompts/promps.php) is also really easy to change to include custom responses to specific events.

PS-  on line 25 in the deviousfollower.php script, I think you missed an $ : {dfName} instead of {$dfname})

I feel your pain! - I'm using mimic3 instead as xtts will turn my skyrim (VR) into a janky mess but then 90 of the convo's seem to be with the narrator voice (and why on earth does Jon Battleborn appear to be the only person who can't hear me! .. Spent a good hour or so thinking my setup was at fault!).

 

I'm not sure the reasoning's for why AI-FF doesn't use xVAsynth as it seems great with Mantella. .. I guess it's good to have 2 frameworks though, as it should help for them to both learn off each other..

The New Gentleman (TNG)

LLM will be made aware of conversation participant's size if they are male (or TNG_Gentlewoman) and if naked or wearing TNG_Revealing armor.

 

TNG does not assign a size keyword to a male player character until you use their MCM/Hotkey to select your size/type. So, you can play like that and describe your PC size in your prompts (LLM sees prompt all the time), or you can select a size for PC with TNG Hotkey and LLM will be made aware of size when PC is naked/TNG_Revealing. If you do select a size, remove any confusing/conflicting info from your prompts to ensure the show-only-when-exposed context awareness works.

 

All other Gentified actors get auto assigned a size and work out of the box. You can still manually set them with TNG Hotkey.

 

If you are using Mantella and aren't seeing all the blue text/context you should in the Mantella console, make sure you raise the Max Count Events to 20 or so in Mantella WebGUI->Other or it will discard some of your juicy context.

Hmmm. There are supposed to be checks to prevent those from playing if you're already in sex. I'll take a look.

I haven't actually played with a DF since I switched over to AIFF yet! It's on my list. You're right, I don't think I rigged up the ExtCmdAcceptDeal command.  I'll fix that.

Regarding rules awareness: Check the context_sent_to_llm.log file in your herikaserver logs folder to see if the rules are being included in the prompt.

That's between you and the LLM.

 

Try using a different model or adjusting the prompt. I really struggled with getting the prompt from Mantella to use actions consistently (And not constantly). This is improved a lot in AI-FF in my experience.

Someone else hit this on the AI-FF discord server, and the AI-FF developer helped troubleshoot this. This essentially means that HerikaServer cannot keep up with the incoming requests. Very likely something in your AI setup is being very non-performant. In their case, their XTTS was being very slow. I'd suggest joining the AI-FF discord server if you need further help with this one.

the XTTS is fast enough its most of time maximum 5  -6 seconds to send back voiced longer sentences. But its fixed , i reinstalled AI FF virtual machine now it works i only found out that if i have minime-t5 running the problems are back, without it runs fine.

Tell the ai "Stop using keywords like -sex- until the end of the conversation, they wont use them again. It may be immersion breaking but thats just the way it is rn lol.
