No, we don't have a dedicated server - I don't think we have nearly enough traffic for that + I'm not about spending my time moderating a Discord server with how busy I am. As for absorbing stats/traits, it's random, but the possibilities are restricted based on how high the stats of your sex partner are, and whether they have an applicable beauty/intellect/body part trait. Obviously, you can't absorb a trait if you already have that trait at the highest level (so Beautiful, Genius, Giant Tits/Dick etc).

 

Use CBO Unofficial if you want animations. This is unfortunately out of my scope.

 

The Make Love interaction (as well as the events that come with it) came from Carnalitas, on which this mod is a dependency of - if you want more diverse sex scenes, someone has to write it. I find pharaox's Carnalitas Love Reimagined to be particularly great in this regard - give it a try if you haven't. The interaction itself has a cooldown of 12 months.

I have a question about how the new learning/converstion based succubus is supposed to work. I tried to make her work, but it can't be done reasonably.

 

First off, it is kinda sad that she starts as a nun, so I renounced the vows so I can become a prostitute, so I HOPE I did not hose my gameplay by doing this, if there were some events that were restricted to her being a nun. 

 

Other than that, converting people is eventually reasonably easy once you stack the +attractions modifier. The problem is that her religion is unreformed, so the conversion of the counties itself is DIFFICULT. I converted the emperor, and the strategoi, and the counts even, but they do not seem to try converting the counties away from orthodox.

 

There is one way to convert counties itself as a wanderer, but depends on you actually already having a converted holy site already, so this is a catch 22. I need a county to convert other counties.

I can also confirm the performance issues with this mod enabled. I tested both against vanilla and carnalitas and a full carnalitas modlist and the slowdown was considerable. With only this mod turned on as a difference.

New Audervelt mechanic seems interesting never played around with china much in ck2, Really enjoy your work playing as a demon slut queen is such a blast especially intriguing your way through your liege's realm your growing powers come in handy.

Hi, i think 100 or 150 counties may be enough for this, 200 could be too much 😵 Now i have converted most of Byzantium and Italy and it's still far from enough.

I noticed that the game would change the succession gender to male only? I would have to revert it back to my previous setup and does the same thing to for AI. Was this intentional or a bug?

I noticed something odd with the mastery level. At 91 mastery it triggers the Seasoned Succubus modifier instead of waiting for 100 levels.

Edit: I spammed a bunch of mastery levels to test if it does the same at higher levels and the 2nd level of Seasoned Succubus triggered at 191. It might just be something about how it does the division and rounding.

I'll keep that in mind. I do think it's reasonable using the 10-year-long conversion event chain as with high enough learning you're practically only bound to how fast you can travel, but I'll tweak it if it seems too infeasible to achieve.

That's definitely quite strange, though I don't suppose it impacts the playing experience that much. I'll give it a look, still.

That... doesn't seem intentional? I'm not exactly sure how that could happen, though I'll give it a look. If you play with other mods that change how the gender succession laws work it may cause problems (I wrote an override that essentially combined my stuff with Medieval Matriarchs and Sappho's Daughter's checks).

I have seen the Temperaments being recorded as a possible cause for slowdown - perhaps you could use the game rule to disable it. Autervelt's impact on performance has been reduced compared to the release patch and I'm glad you enjoy it - I don't played CK2 much either so it's a bit of a learning experience as I try to put it together (and GUI modding is, as always, a pain in the arse).

If you mean the 0.13.* minor updates - I don't see why it shouldn't be compatible, though it's still best practice to start a new save.

If you mean going from 0.12.* to 0.13.*, a new save would be necessary for the new features.

Can confirm disabling the Temperaments helped my game's performance.

Got at least a 10x speed improvement on Fastest.

Yeah I thought the Temperaments would be cool but apparently it's a massive performance hog that I don't quite notice. I'll have that set to Disabled by default on the next major update. Thanks for enjoying!

Thank you for your mod, it's quite fun to play.

 

I have a probable bug to report in the scripting that helps the AI succ gain some passive mastery, file cdol_on_actions.txt.

 

The pulse that is used (random_yearly_playable_pulse) lacks the cdol_is_succubus_trigger trigger, so instead doing:

"Pick a random succ and give some passive gain" it does:

"Pick a random playable and if they happen to be a succ give them some passive gain"

 

The effect is that it is super rare for this event to actually give passive gain to an AI succ.

 

I think it should be more like:

random_yearly_everyone_pulse = {

    trigger = {
        is_ai = yes
        cdol_is_succubus_trigger = yes
        basic_is_valid_for_yearly_events_trigger = yes
    }
    on_actions = {
        cdol_ai_mastery_passive_gain

        # Any other yearly events for AI succ.

I also think that it's better to use random_yearly_everyone_pulse instead of random_yearly_playable_pulse, as the latter doesn't trigger for any AI succ in my testing.

On other debugging news, the reason that AI succ doesn't accumulate any mastery/power or use any of each abilities, is that carnalitas character_interaction Make Love doesn't any provision for AI and since most of the succ abilities are gated on having had sex with someone in the last 30 days, the AI doesn't qualify to use them. It's strange that both carnalitas and carnalitas love reimagined don't enable this interaction for AIs.

Hi there - is there any particular reason the succubus trait is missing the immortal trait trigger, i.e.

 

immortal = yes

It's an intentional design choice. You're meant to stack up Mastery modifiers to continually extend your lifespan - it's not a true immortal trait.

That's what I figured. Unfortunate that it doesn't let you use immortal_age, though. Another question: is it intentional that there are tens to hundreds of random lowborn succubi in the world after 50~ years? I think they are being spawned by the traveling event where you meet a stranger succubus and get the option to sleep with them, but they aren't being cleaned up (killed) afterwards.

 

Edit: I just had that event trigger again, and the character was killed after - so I don't know why they're being spawned.

The allowed_to_marry_same_sex_trigger trigger doesn't work properly.
To confirm, I did a minimal with:

  1.     Unofficial patch
  2.     Better CK3
  3.     Fix Decisions tab performance
  4.     Carnalities
  5.     DOL

Daruma Daura start enables me to have a concubine of same sex and marry courtiers ONLY for females. Default same sex marriage and restrictions.
Renamed the file to 99_vanilla_override_scripted_triggers.txt.bak and the issue was gone.
I don't know what to pin it down to, because the logic in the file seems valid. Will do tests on it to pinpoint.

EDIT:-
The futa mod trigger should be like this:

AND = {
	# Phaze's Futa Mod
		futa_enables_futa_marriages_trigger = yes
			is_female = yes
			OR = {
				has_trait = futa_genetic
				has_trait = futa
			}
		}

Otherwise, I don't know why futa_enables_futa_marriages_trigger is true even if mod isn't loaded

Yeah neither do I, it's been bugging me as well. I thought the culprit was the event you mentioned, which led me to putting an effect to kill them off afterwards, but it persisted. I just assume it's a weird quirk in how PDX's character generator does things.

Right, sometimes I forgot if a scripted trigger can't be checked the game just sometimes assume it's true because it can't be found. I imagine I can probably just copy the entire scripted effect over - they call for cultural/domicile/doctrine parameters which is quite flexible.
