muhavaux33 Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 What's the difference between this mod and Zap helper addon it looks like they both bring exactly the same features.
BrightRider Posted August 7, 2024 Author Posted August 7, 2024 (edited) @palracz please check your SkyrimSE.exe file properties and make sure it's 1170, because it's really weird, it looks like you are the only one with this issue and to be honest I have no idea how to help you. @muhavaux33 I didn't tested this helper, but it looks like it's kind of improvement over vanilla furniture system, my mod implements it's own system which has pros and cons. For me it works great, I'm actually playing with it now and it's pretty stable and reliable, so I don't need to try anything else for now. Edited August 7, 2024 by BrightRider
arbiter Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 (edited) From my Mod Organizer warning, reinforcing the other users' issues: When someone posts in the skyrimmods reddit with "you have one or more script extender plugins which failed to load!" there's a bot that says: Quote You're getting this error because either you have an outdated version of papyrusutil installed or you have a mod with an embedded version of papyrusutil overwriting the correct version. Install the latest version of papyrus util from the mod page and move it to the bottom of your install order. That doesn't seem like it's the issue, but I'm not sure. I'm on the SE version (1.5.97) and I have the proper papyrus util for it and you're not overwriting anything directly, so I don't know what's going on. I'm just reporting what I'm seeing. I got the exact same issue. Also on 1170, I just double checked to make sure.

Looks like I'm joining the problem brigade. I have the same issue and have current papyrus versions. Was hoping to try this out and see if its better than the helper addon.
Maidenslayer Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 To confirm the prior comment, I'm running Skyrim AE 1.6.1170 with SKSE 2.2.6 since SKSE was released on 2024-01-17 and get the same message: Additionally, per skse64.log (below), only BRFF.dll is failing out of 42 other dll files. To re-confirm, I downloaded and re-installed SKSE twice using Vortex and confirmed SKSE's file lengths and dates are correct. I would surely like to know what is going on. There may be some obscure setting within your Skyrim files that I (and the commenter above) do not have. loading plugin "Ahzaab's moreHUD Inventory Plugin" plugin 1 allocated 64 bytes from branch pool registering plugin listener for SKSE at 1 of 42 plugin AHZmoreHUDInventory.dll (00000001 Ahzaab's moreHUD Inventory Plugin 001EACBC) loaded correctly (handle 1) loading plugin "Ahzaab's moreHUD Plugin" plugin 2 allocated 64 bytes from branch pool registering plugin listener for SKSE at 2 of 42 plugin AHZmoreHUDPlugin.dll (00000001 Ahzaab's moreHUD Plugin 004C9A28) loaded correctly (handle 2) loading plugin "ArcheryLocationalDamage" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 3 of 42 plugin 3 allocated 53 bytes from branch pool plugin 3 allocated 14 bytes from branch pool plugin 3 allocated 14 bytes from branch pool plugin 3 allocated 14 bytes from branch pool plugin ArcheryLocationalDamage.dll (00000001 ArcheryLocationalDamage 02010010) loaded correctly (handle 3) loading plugin "BRFF" plugin BRFF.dll (00000001 BRFF 01000000) couldn't load plugin 126 (handle 4) loading plugin "BulkEnchantingRedone" plugin BulkEnchantingRedone.dll (00000001 BulkEnchantingRedone 01020010) loaded correctly (handle 5) loading plugin "CBPC" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 6 of 42 plugin cbp.dll (00000001 CBPC 00010602) loaded correctly (handle 6) loading plugin "ConsoleUtilSSE" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 7 of 42 plugin ConsoleUtilSSE.dll (00000001 ConsoleUtilSSE 01050010) loaded correctly (handle 7) loading plugin "CrashLogger" plugin CrashLogger.dll (00000001 CrashLogger 010E0010) loaded correctly (handle 😎 loading plugin "DeviousDevices" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 9 of 42 plugin DeviousDevices.dll (00000001 DeviousDevices 03000001) loaded correctly (handle 9) loading plugin "DismemberingFramework" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 10 of 42 registering plugin listener for (null) at 10 of 42 plugin 10 allocated 16 bytes from branch pool plugin DismemberingFramework.dll (00000001 DismemberingFramework 01000040) loaded correctly (handle 10) loading plugin "DragonbornsBestiary" registering plugin listener for SKSE at 11 of 42 plugin DragonbornsBestiary.dll (00000001 DragonbornsBestiary 01040000) loaded correctly (handle 11) 1
BrightRider Posted September 27, 2024 Author Posted September 27, 2024 (edited) Yes, that's interesting, I'm also running SKSE 2.2.6 and Anniversary Edition. Do you have Steam version of Skyrim? As far as I know although there is more people having this issue it seems like it's even more people who don't have it. There must be some difference somewhere but I don't think I have some specific config. For know I have no idea what is the reason and I'm not able to replicate this issue. Maidenslayer Posted September 28, 2024 Posted September 28, 2024 BrightRider, per your question above, I am running the official version of Skyrim AE 1.6.1170 from Steam. And, I made sure that all the files were verified using Steam's verification tool. Perhaps the issue has to do with memory. Does brff.dll request an unusually high amount of real memory? (I have 8 GB of real RAM on my PC with 128 GB of virtual RAM.) Or perhaps brff.dll is attempting to open a Skyrim 1.5.97 file that you have on your PC -- because you support the older version -- but I do not have on my PC. Regardless, thanks for investigating the problem.

Zushis Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Had the DLL issue as mentioned above. Currently I'm using Steam Skyrim SE 1.59..... with SKSE 2.0.2 and papyrus script for the same Is it possible that the error has to do something with Skyrim edition ( AE vs SE stuff ) leading to incompatibility with my SKSE and Papyrus versions? I apologize in advance if that's dumb thing to ask, but I'm new to all this 😅
BrightRider Posted October 2, 2024 Author Posted October 2, 2024 Yes, AE and SE are not compatible. SKSE plugins compiled for AE are not going to run for SE. 1
BrightRider Posted October 11, 2024 Author Posted October 11, 2024 @Maidenslayer I did some research and the issue may be related to the lack of C++ Redistributable installed (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170). In fact I saw that some SKSE mods have it in their requirements and I'm always installing it together with SKSE. Any chance you could install this and verify?

BrightRider Posted October 12, 2024 Author Posted October 12, 2024 (edited) @palracz ok, one more idea. If you can, please try to download 1_3_6 or 2_1_1 and try it. I accidentally compiled the DLL in Debug mode, this can be an issue. Edited October 12, 2024 by BrightRider

palracz Posted October 13, 2024 Posted October 13, 2024 Thx the new version has no error on start....
CypridinaPendant Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 This mod is incompatible with Nether's Follower Framework (NFF), which is truly unfortunate, as there’s no way I would give up NFF for it. When loading an old save, it causes NFF to fail in performing almost any normal operations, such as recruiting or dismissing followers. When loading a new save, NFF displays the message: “Another mod is overwriting DialogueFollowerQuest.” Moving NFF to the bottom of the load order can make it work properly, but this will cause the binding corpses and execution features of this mod to stop functioning.
BrightRider Posted November 19, 2024 Author Posted November 19, 2024 It looks like something possible to fix, though currently I'm in the middle of complete reconstruction version 2.0 of this mod to make torture and execution features much better. First I need to make sure that the mod itself works correctly and then I can try to make it compatible with other mods.
olbbme Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Very interesting mod. I tried to use it, but there was no response or notification when I pressed F1 or ALT+Q on ZAP furniture. How can I know if the mod is loaded properly? Is there some useful log in Papyrus.log?

I tried and found that 1.5.97 requires the 'Backported Extended ESL Support' MOD to take effect.
BrightRider Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 (edited) In order to know that the mod has been loaded it should be enough to check your inventory for related spells and items, so you should have rings with BRFF in the beginning of the name as well as the Spawn Furniture spell. Honestly I have no idea why Backported Extended ESL Support is required and also I doubt that this mod will be working correctly for 1.5.97 as it is created for the newest game version.
