buzzkill22 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I see this mod overwrites At Your Own Pace - College of Winterhold in several places, MG01 and MG02 college quests as well as mirabelle's ai package, as well as the player character and Savor aren?

Hmm, MG01 had to be modified so that Tirwin and the PC could enter the College of Winterhold without the PC having to prove their magical abilities, and MG02 so that the PC could start the quest involving Shaartal. After completing the Tirwin storyline at the College of Winterhold, the PC can speak to Mirabelle as usual, but she’ll first drag you outside, even if you’re both next to the PC’s room (at least that was the case in some DEV builds, but I haven’t checked this in the public release). 1
daskull Posted April 24 Posted April 24 This mod is really exciting. Can it add a task start level? If you only encounter a task trigger in a tavern after adventuring for a period of time in Skyrim Province, it should increase immersion.

I don’t think that’s necessary, because you can start with Tirwin at level 1 or even level 80.

Help "Tirwin" Would find the base id for TirwinLH base form and the first two digits would be the Mod's index. (Any esl or espfe the first five "FExxx" ) Edited April 25 by eflat01
kaizersoze27 Posted April 25 Posted April 25 There is likely a conflict between this mod and the Interesting NPCs at the Boulderfalls cave.
lgallman1 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Iam having isssues installing the mod. Had it running before ( .53ver).But had to reinstall skyrim + all mods. On new play thru to lvl 28 no problems. 1. DL file zip(ver 54 )and - extract file 2 Drag and drop into vortex (get message following files are not archived cant be installed directly - create mod cantaning these files Yes. (I do not remember if that happend when it worked before i had to do the full reinstall, pretty sure it didnt ) . enabled the mod . vortex does its thing, updates fins. But i get no Fomod and the animal research esp doesnt show up in plugins. Allso loaded the high poly options. They load fine then deploy and show that Animal Research esp is missing. Pretty sure answers looking me in the face and i am just not seeing it haha. Thanks for any help. Was straight forward the first time Dnld file- extract - drag and drop and enjoy . Got to the Necht (Man of war looking things) before i had to do the full reinstall. Good Job on the Mod its real cool Thanks.

I started having that issue as well with pretty much any mod that is downloaded here. Not just this one. Vortex seems to have just recently changed where you don't extract the file anymore before install. Just download the file and drag the zip into Vortex. No more extracting before dragging/dropping. See if that works for you. Edited April 27 by Donuts4me

Yeah, I'd say a lot longer. I've been using Vortex since SE first dropped, and I don't remember ever having to extract a zip file first before installing. Is it possible that I did have to at first, and it's just been so long I've forgotten all about it? Yeah, it's possible, but it's certainly been quite a long time, if ever.

In my case, I used to use NMM, but when my Skyrim drive crashed, I decided it would be worth installing something more modern, and I’ve been using it for about two years now. But I reckon Vortex would be better if it didn’t have to upload files to Skyrim, and instead had a folder to deploy when the game launches, like MO2 does.

I've been playing Skyrim on PC for a little over two years. When first installing Vortex and Sexlab, I followed a video guide that said to extract the folders before dragging/dropping. Worked fine up until about a month ago. Then Vortex did an update. When you and Gristle shared a version of AMR with me a few weeks back, I had that same problem. At first I thought it was not packaged right, but looking at the folder, everything seemed normal. I also tried installing a different mod and had the same issue. It was then I knew it must have had something to do with the Vortex update. So, I tried just dragging the zip folders without extracting and it worked. So, as of this month, extracting is not a good idea.

It seems they’ve removed that option and now only allow you to drag and drop a ZIP or RAR file without having to unzip it first. However, one thing video tutorials have in common is that they may become out of date within four months of publication, as the programme in question may have been updated or certain features moved to a different location. 1

And it works with either the quest stage where you've untied Tirwin or the quest stage where you haven't. Also, even if these conditions weren't met, you should still get his normal dialogue. Do you have any carriage mods that could be interfering? I'm havin an issue, I have carriage and ferry travel overhaul. I am on the stage to talk to the carriage driver about going to winterhold. I get normal dialoge with the driver and can pay to go to winterhold but the quest never progresses.

The carriage driver should have DIFFERENT dialogue options and refuse, as he will want to see Tirwin and Ragnar.

CFTE replaces the vanilla carriage drivers with new NPCs (as in, entirely new NPC_ records, not even just new references) who are placed in new factions. I don't know why. Any dialogue set up for use by vanilla carriage drivers won't work.

Brammer001 Posted May 3 Posted May 3 (edited) having this weird issue where tirwin decides to only talk in dots. i can see the mouth animations, but there's no sound, and no dialogue menu. started during the giant quest, and completing the steps of said quest with console commands didn't fix it. Disable/Enable, or resetai also did nothing. edit: it seems to be triggered by the fisting scene right before the first giant. skipping that part with console commands seems to have prevented the issue so far Edited May 3 by Brammer001

To proceed without the quest marker, the bandit camp is the vanilla bandit camp just below Dragonsreach on the north side of Whiterun. It is in a recessed area under a small cliff. Hello! Still cant find it. Any name of that camp?
