Just started messing around with this, and it looks really good so far. No problems on SE 1.5.9 running version 0.3.21.

Two points/questions so far:

1/ Tool tips in the MCM would be nice at some stage. Not every setting is immediately obvious.

2/ Where's the off switch for whipping? Can't find it and I really dislike that.

Tools on all the settings is on my to-do.  Sorry they are not there yet!

Do you want a global setting to disable all whipping functions?  Or do you want to be able to stop a running scene?

My preference is global (I know, I'm a minority in this!). Otherwise, a chance slider or somethnig so I can turn it way down.

The dom side of things works well from my two hours messing about with it so far. No problem getting one, the rules have been respected (more or less) and it's not too laggy or tempermental. Nice work!

Did bump into a small problem on a completely different save where I've not even talked to anyone at all yet, never mind gotten a dom:

I can neither cook nor smith. Started through LAL in Breezehome, which is lightly modified from vanilla and has a workshop cellar.

Menu opens at the anvil or cookpot just fine, then my character kneels (it's the Binding kneeling anim for certain, the other two kneel anims I have look completely different)  and the menu closes. Tanning rack, smelter, oven and workbench all work fine. Not checked alchemy or enchanting yet.

Tried pausing Binding in MCM even though I'm not using it yet, and no joy with that.

When I get a bit of a chance tonight I'll test it out a bit more, try other anvils and cookpots around Whiterun and see if it's just confined to player homes or not.

I don't know how it is implemented now. But I have a proposal to make it possible to add a dominant without being tied to the recruitment of a follower. So that if you have a dominant, you can leave him, for example, in the player's house (dismiss the follower temporarily) and go on a journey alone, because sometimes you want to run alone, in this case add some rule that once in such a period of time the player is obliged to return to the dominant or will be punished or teleported to him by magic from the collar. Something like that.

I've been getting the option to "Make this person your dom" for everyone from random wenches to Olava.

I can add a mcm checkbox to disable whipping, should not be a problem.

Is it possible that that LAL in Breezehome mod is using the same key as the action key for binding?  Have you tried mapping the binding action key to a different key?  I will make sure kneeling is disabled when paused that said.

Glad you are liking the mod! Saying a mod is not too laggy or temperamental is about the highest praise a skyrim mod author can receive.  You are forever fighting the game engine trying to prevent it 🙂

Yeah, it gives you the option to add any NPC as a dom now (vs. just followers).  I will add a MCM checkbox to suppress this if you don't want it showing up.  Sorry about that!

If you use the "[BIND] Make this NPC your Dominant." dialogue option on an NPC OR for followers check "Do Not Free Sub When Follower Dismissed" in game preference tab under the MCM, you will get this effect.  If you dismiss a follower they will wait (and continue as your dom).  I don't have a home re-assignment feature yet, but I know some mods exist to do that.

My planning on the NPC doms that don't follow you was to have a check-in interval to control how often you need to visit them.  Didn't think of teleporting back automatically, but that could be a fun option.

Wasn't that, both anvil and cooking pot are standard, use the E key to activate. I've an elf hunter living in Boulderfall cave, I'll see if her cooking pot does the same thing. Probably just a glitch from my loadout though, I'm pretty certain someone else would have noticed it too if it was a problem in the mod. I can't be the only person who cooks while free! :)

I quite like the mechanic. Certainly makes me more careful with the dialogue menus!

Edit to add:

Mia's Lair does the teleporting back to your master if you've been away too long thing, supposedly (I know it's in the mod but have never played that bit. The two dominants are a little underwhelming) if you want to have a peek at how he does it.

Verner (I think that was his name?) does, yes, but he is a Dremora which makes it a bit more believable that he could do that after you made a contract with him. It would be a bit jarring IMO if Hulda teleported me to the Bannered Mare if I didn't show up for a while.

After quite a bit of testing and messing around I found out WHY my character who hadn't even talked to anyone yet was doing the Binding kneels and not able to smith, cook, or tan:

I was a little too efficient. While I was doing the setup for this character, getting all the mods set how I wanted (thank gods for MCM recorder, but it still takes an hour!), I set up some of the rules for Binding using the action key.

Loading the same character save from before I did that and NOT setting up some of the rules in advance - no kneeling, just crafting, and game works as normal.

How exactly does the favorite set work? I selected devices for each type, also separately through the dialog and dress settings I created a set of devices and saved it, selected for everything that is there. However, individual rules still select random devices, and not the ones I selected, so I do not understand how the favorite set works. Can I somewhere in the settings select devices for each type so that only they are worn or is there no such function yet?

So you have 3 sets used for favorites, that you manage under Action -> Settings -> Manage Favorites.  Currently the system picks one of these 3 at random.  The sets are used for the DD devices that satisfy the Bondage Rules you have active.

So if the current favorite set being used was 3 and your rules were currently:

Rule Heavy Bondage (on) ->  Black Ebonite Armbinder (found in 3) -> will equip this

Rule Collar (on) -> Nothing is selected (nothing found in 3) -> Asks DD for a random item -> will equip this

Nipple Clamps (off) -> will do nothing

Leg Cuffs (on) -> Black Ebonite Leg Cuffs (found in 3) -> will equip this

The Dressing Room quest lets you preview things and create special sets that can have a fix number of items.  You can use these in events (currently only Harsh Bondage, but I will expand) and for location specific bondage auto equipped sets (castles and player homes currently).

When you are buildling out the custom sets in Dressing Room, you can tag things to add to your favorite sets also.  It will not impact the custom sets, but I didn't want people to have to go to second place if they really wanted an item in that set and added to the favorites.

Hope this helps a bit!

every time I use the bound sleep event, both with or without forniture, my char doesn't get rested (using survival), anyway to fix this?

So absolutely true. Underwhelming and disappointing. They are like the Temu version of dominants. I wish someone would make a dominant that actually is dominant and acts that way.

I will take a look at this right away.  The older mod had a hidden bedroll that went under the hogtie that provide a normal sleep option.  If I can't make it work, I can at least migrate that forward.  Thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for the bug reports all!  I am doing some QA testing and will try to get a patch up in the next few days to iron out some of the outstanding issues.  Your help is appreciated!

Load up the Circle of Lust mod and play it to take Morana as your dominant follower.  (Only if you can deal with a dominant vampire mistress.)

Yeah. Half the time I'll be playing along and writing the story as it unfolds and my PC will suddenly say to me Master/Mistress might having fun, I am not!

Still ... it's better than trying to play as a dom yourself. There is literally nothing for that, apart from Captured Dreams chaste spouse - which relies on you doing the vanilla marriage quest, Captured dreams deciding you are the dominant one in your marriage (that can be ... tricky)  AND putting up with some seriously defective ZAZ furniture.

Wish the hell he'd use Display Model 3 or the DD furniture instead - they work beautifully, but of course it has bugger all animations for it. :(

Totally understand, it's frustrating. I installed Circle of Lust, going to give it a try after work. Thanks for the suggestion.

I caught a strange situation when a red notification appeared that the dom wants to talk, I try to talk, but I get words that I need to kneel first (nothing happens). I press the action key to kneel, but I get the notification "I had better talk dom", and the action key does not work. Thus, this situation is looped, I do not know what is connected with it, it happened once in several hours of play. I am not sure if this would help, but perhaps if the action key was not blocked, it would be possible to get out of the loop.

I will take a look.  probably just left the kneeling option off of the start of one of the prologue quests that launch other quests.  Thanks for letting me know!

The usual excuse would be that she found your collar in a dwemer ruin and that's just one of the features

If wearing one while away, aye. I'm not sold on that feature. For me the idea of the stationary dom is being a "land base sailor", got a different Dom in every city. If everyone would port you around ... I'm fine with such a feature getting in, for those who want it, but it needs a toggle to disable it. Which in extension likely requires different dialogue trees and that's the point when LazyPalm is starting to get grey hair. :P (But hey, at least say hairs that go grey don't fall out. ^^)
