Here is an example of a custom animation being loaded onto a pal. This is a running animation from the UE5 mannequin retargeted to a cattiva, the action state can then be returned back to normal. I am using a skeleton swap, so adding bones and mesh to a model and animating them should be possible, I'm just figuring out a method to blend extra bones added with base animations, as I am working without any of the source files in that respect. Both project are structured the same way: talking about what they do, inviting to discord, asking for money, … Promises, promises. Though I did get some details wrong, it was quickly corrected by somebody else. I did use a healthy dose of scepticism when trying to understand the projects, and I feel that my main point is still valid. So the following will be directed to Palhub as well as your Pal of Desire. The game is very popular, hasn't been out for even a month, and people already try to siphon money away for "mods". It all look and feel like a snake oil merchant arriving in a new town, Star Citizen style. (Did you know that star citizen is more than 10 years old?) By very popular, I mean very popular: What is going to happen very quickly on the modding scene, though, is that a ton of people will drop lewd models of pals chaotically. They'll drop out of nowhere, on the nexus or elsewhere, 'cause there's a specific kind of modellers that does it just for fun. I could say I don't understand why, but I actually do: I write code just for fun, and sometimes it's useful for more people than myself. Anyhow, you come around and say you're going to work on lewd models. Great! We don't know who you are. Your team is unknown. I don't know if you or your team will still be around in a year's time, or if it would be still whole. Don't know if the assets you create (not the finished product) will be released to the community, or held back. That's what I mean when I said that you have nothing to show for. I know it's a bit harsh, but the situation becomes that much serious when money is involved. I don't want to discourage you, but I don't believe that you've got what it takes to make it in the long run. But I would be happy to be wrong. PS: I'll keep hijacking this thread for as long as I want, because my message is topical to both project. 8

Wanna be more clear on the distinction between devs and other general staff? because it totally makes a difference that the human you tasked with verifying our ids isnt a dev.

Feral is now in the plans due to finally obtaining people comfortable in that criteria. We were mostly just uncomfortable with making it but it was never about moral standing. Our two modelers at the time told me they just didnt want to do it. Our team size is around 12, now containing 3 in that department. We assure you, we do listen to feedback, given a chance. Heck, theres nothing stopping them from putting tupac or elvis info in for some of those bots. The only real solution is to actually be responsible with your fam, fam. zileteh Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 IT would be fantastic if there was an alternate means of authentication on the palhub discord. I've been in the scene for a while (check out the skyrim lovers lab posts, furry diffusion discord, you'll see I've been around). There's enough info attached to my anonymous ID to verify I'm part of several adult communities for some time. What is not fantastic is anything that attaches this anonymous ID with ANYTHING to do with my real one. That information does not exist for a reason. It's not that I don't trust YOU or the plugin platform you use to authenticate, but if there happened to be a bad actor or a data leak or a social engineering attack, any and all information submitted could be compromised. Attaching real world ID to this or a discord ID in any way is a bad idea from a security information standpoint. There's also the liability. IF a child stole their parents ID and used it to get into your room, because it was YOUR authentication that failed to filter them, YOU are the one on the line. When it is Discord itself doing the age gate, then any liability is on them. I have no idea why you would want that liability on yourself instead but it is legally dumb.
