I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting the anime monstergirl version of pals. I'd prefer the pals be left in their existing shapes, personally, but to each their own.

 

I do think that trying to incorporate anthro-izing all the non-anthro pals and feralizing all the antho pals in to one mod is, frankly, ridiculous. They should be separate mods for different purposes.

Came in to see the opening of the thread being a discord invite of all things, and I've been following the going-ons since the game's release. The fact that the mod devs, the managers, whoever owns the Patreon, and everyone in between is so disorganized makes me think this whole thing started as a grift that attracted more, unrelated grifters. If this mess ever gets off the ground in any capacity, I'll be supremely surprised.

You have nothing but a promise of a mod dedicated to bestiality. You don't want to nurture that mod through this community, instead you use the existing platform and community present on LL – which is subject to very real costs and provide a very real service – to bolster your own. You have ¤60 a month for "servers". Don't quite understand what server means in this context, machines or discord? Regardless of what they are, the point is that you have nothing and yet you spend money on shit nobody asked for. More over, a dedicated area has been setup on these forums for Palworld itself.

 

You ask for people's identity and give them nothing in return. Basically a honeypot. I don't believe you are real. I don't believe you'll develop anything. I do believe you're targeting gullible people.

I'm hoping this'll be more gender balanced. This was mainly an issue I've had in Fallout compared to Skyrim but most sex mods felt like they were geared too heavily toward female PCs and not enough for male PCs.

Looking at a fair few of the Pals, a good portion have female-based bodies (granted they can be like Pokemon and be male with a feminine body) so it would make sense for them to target men just as much as females. It would make the fangirls raid more fun if they ran straight towards the male PCs and tackle them to the floor to have some fun with them there and then.

To make a slight correction, PoD is not making a mod dedicated bestiality as they seem to be a direct split off from that. I otherwise agree with your post.

 

Genuinely recommending those for who want to support modders. Both PoD and this thread have set up some kind of support plan for their non-existent mod for "maintenance", this is HIGHLY suspicious behavior.

Just a heads up that's the lead of the other mod that split off because of an aversion to feral. You're confusing who is in charge of which project and who is doing what.

 

But your second point is valid and unfortunately applies to both teams now. Optional or not setting up donations before any actual released product is available does sour the air in regards to both mods.

I like how orlin came in and admitted that his scope was now like twice the size we thought it was, and doesnt address a single important point raised the entire thread. as someone who things the pals of desire mod dev is being a bit... dramatic youre almost impossible to support.

Now, it is inevitable of a question, so let's just rip off this bandaid right now:
Do you plan to do any work prior to the proper release of the game? Testing out systems in early access, seeing what you can and can't do with the current tools, post about it?
Or will you go in blind once the official modding tools will be released, inevitably delaying the mod for an indeterminate amount of time with the upside being less hassle but also losing out on interest and followers?

We closed our patreon until a later date, and I did confirm it was just something I wanted to do, and was optional. We had no plans to make it a paywall, and was strictly a support for those who wanted to give their love to our 4 modelers and 3 concept artists. I will admit, we launched too early, and I am sorry, but I genuinely felt we would be allowed to, as we are already ready to implement a lewd petallia.

We are working on Lunaris, Katress, Elizabee, Daedream and Dazzi. They may need skeleton redone, or animations redone, but we are trying. I am again, sorry if it sounded my Patreon was to be suspicious, I genuinely didnt intend it to be. 

We are also not associated with Palhub, and I also dont want our invites posted here, either, but I cant delete those comments. I favor community, and want PoD to be a more fun and kind community, than to just expect people to blindly trust, and this is why I took the Patreon down, and rewrote it. It has not even been republished. I do listen to feedback, and I just wish people would give us a chance, its all I want.

I have also since learned about Kofi, and it was my fault for being unaware what it was.

There is only manual verification, all the bot does is send your ID to Orlin to check while also storing it on the systems of the guy who made the bot. You have to wait while the server owner looks at your ID and judges you. Why this was the decided choice over the +18 plus verifications already implemented and recommended by Discord nobody knows.

Different point of view, different opinion. I join both Pal Hub and Pals of Desire by my own choice. Some people has respectfully decline on joining Pal Hub with its AgeGate bot and decide to wait for the mod to be release patiently, while others when on the offensive by it.

 

While with Pals of Desire some people doesn't like the idea of donation to patreon or simply donation in general, cause it seem to be view as a PayWall.

 

Like I said before I joined on both discord server, out of my own discretion. I literally cover my ID except for DOB (physically covered), and place my discord username. While the other one was more entry friendly (but sadly anyone with a bit of capacity can enter, including minor but one can't know if one is an actual minor, even among lurker).

 

My point is, just declined respectfully like some user already did, why throw insult or berate about it. Both of you got my support Pal Hub and POD.

 

EDIT: Forgot to add, donation is voluntary giving money not buying product. So you're not force to do it if you don't like it, it just a support out of your own will. As well if you donate you can just stop it, because after all, it your own decision to donate or not.

I am currently developing an animation framework for palworld. Don't want to over promise, but in it's current state basegame animations for the skeleton are preserved, while new animations for the skeleton can be created and loaded successfully. I am working on figuring out the action system, which seems like it's a state machine, and a way to integrate new animations with these states. New bones should be able to be added to existing armature, but I will have to figure out if new animations can be made and blended to the existing animations, which I do not have access to, as I don't have the source files, and no one has made a suitable way to extract these animations. I will have to figure out how animation blending in ue5 works, as I've only learned it for the past week. (Big thanks to localcc for the mod tool, if you are interested in modding palworld, you should check out their sdk.)

When I complete it or get it to a suitable state, it will be released without a paywall, for use to make whatever the hell you damn please.

I am also contemplating starting a nsfw mod project of my own as the two current ones "in development" rub me the wrong way in some of the decisions made, but it does seem like a lot of work to organize. I may post updates here with screenshots and videos in the future if people are interested.

It's stupid, but as long as you redact everything like the verification bot asks, there's nothing to steal or get hacked. Still doesn't stop the admin from flagging your verification as spam if you do... The discord age thing should be enough, but I guess depending on where the admin lives there could be more complications. Not every country is fine with the are you over 18? Yes/No question.

Some weirdos to end up fulfilling their promises, but I just hope somebody does make a decent animation framework so animators can work directly on whatever they want without having to blow their braincells trying to mod ue5 in their own way.

 

That's the problem with modding promises I see - they gotta have to have a base to work on first.

Tbh, I’m only in the PalHub discord since there’s currently no other option that doesn’t just slap a palworld color palette on an anime girl and call it good, so I’m open to other options
