Discord has in built age verification systems in place that protect you from liability from underage users sneaking in, provided you remove them when they are discovered.

Did you even contemplate the absurdity of what you demanded? There are over 200 independent governments in the world, each with different Identification systems and requirements.

How the hell are you going to know if anything anyone posts is a legitimate ID or a fake?

Do you even know what the legal age is in even the majority of western countries?

Do you think you can tell a real Nafnskírteini or a fake cédula de identidade from a blurry photo?

Spoiler: You can't, and you'll be googling that to figure out what the hell I even just said.

 

The sad thing is, I'd rather support you, because I'd like to see the feral models over the anthro, but theres no way I'm going to hand over my ID like that.

I mean, what could probably be done, is just attach a dick/balls, or a pussy, to the preexisting models. It would probably be a good enough start. Yes, it would probably require being able to manually edit each of the models, or having a script that can do it for you, if you specify the location, or something like that, but assuming you would just go the path of manually editing the models, that probably isnt going to be too much work, if you just add the same asset to all of them. I think that would be a good start, I'm happy to help!

also it's best to mention that the "bot" isn't a bot but the owner and a few other people and it's also good to mention GDPR even if you don't live in europe as Discord is accessible here and falls under the rules of the GDPR. some might think "Discord operates out of the USA they could care less about the GDPR" well you're wrong as Discord is accessible in Europe and thus falls under the GDPR. whelp i forgot Discord has physical servers in europe so they're bound to uphold the GDPR anyway.

So for shits and giggles I decided to use an old ID I had and blacked out everything but the DOB. I made sure you could still easily tell it was an ID but the only info you could glean from it was the DOB. Made sure to follow all the requirements as asked by the "bot" and was rejected for not enough info. They do literally want to see your info not just your DOB lol. This shit's dead in the water and everyone should steer clear. I did try to report the server but as far as I can tell Discord removed any and all ways to report a server.

no they didn't you just have to jump through a few hoops to get there

Dude thanks   I was going crazy the other day trying to figure out where they hid the reporting. They apparently changed the procedure several times in the past year and all the info I could find online was outdated lol. I thought it was wild that they removed reporting since that's a bit of a liability, although it's still pretty bad that it's kinda hidden under "Family Center & Support for Parents/Guardians".

honestly no idea why, tho Discord has as of lately been going down a path of dumb decision after dumb decision. oh and if you get an answer from them that it doesn't violate their community guidelines tell em they have servers in Europe and are thus under GDPR law (any website that wants to have access to the EU has to follow the GDPR doesn't matter if the site is in the EU or not)

Yeah apparently at one point last year you could only report servers through the mobile app. Like a drop down option next to Leave Server or something. I did make sure to note that it violates GDPR in the report so it'll be interesting to see how/if they follow up.

They are literally asking for GOVERNMENT I.D's.  You can't do anything until you do.  This is illegal in general and also against Discord T.O.S.   They can STEAL your identity and see your address from your Goverment I.D.  This is CRAZY!  Report this Discord server and lets wipe it down.  Photo Attached!

We're investigating this right now. We we're shown screen shots but now we arent sure if they were posted as content in their mod pak by the modders or if that was just a member. 
It might be a misunderstanding and we perhaps jumped the gun here. Also the fabricated drama caused us to be a little more alert. Seeing tons of people come onto our nexus page and toss insults on behalf of palhub has us a little spooked.

Ok just to clear the air, we were sent an image and it was a misconception or was put to stir up drama, and we jumped the gun. Moving forward if any of you are in both server we will be ignoring anything relating to other mods of a similar caliber or status. 
Some of the team are experiencing their first rodeo with this so these mistakes happen.
I want to personally apologize on behalf of the team and hope you guys can forgive us.

No, it's unfair to say that. They are bizarre individuals who generate too much attention with their dubious behavior. 

 

On the other hand, there are quiet, nice modders who work on their working stuff and share it. I try out mods from new people every day and they work flawlessly. These people don't peddle their promises like a social media whore or try to rip other people off. 

 

They are not in the spotlight, but they are the majority. So it's unfair to say "the entire modding community".

all you have proven is that you clearly never heard of fishing before or why handing out any sort of government personal information to anonymous people is a terrible idea.

 

ID's often have serial codes embedded and much more information in them. even sending out a redacted blacked out id still can open you up to all sorts of identity theft.  SO NO DO NOT DO THAT.

Also to say nothing of the potential metadata that could be skimmed from the picture. Dependent upon the device you used to take the picture they could know your phone, your location as well as a number of other pieces of information that you really might not want someone to know.
