Mailamea Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 i must say this is an amazing tweak mod and i love it. at first i had some strange issues, but that was due to an experimental skeleton from a previous first-person-mod - also it was solvedby reinstalling the max-compatibility skeleton(s). it works with BBB and doesnt lower the FPS. i havent tried to change LoversPK animations into first person yet, but i hope someone will make a patch soon. LPK animations works wonders, using female character only good if not on back animations, male character anims works fine too Logic will try tackling NV/FO3 but he will review if it is possible

(There is continuous script monitoring of the position that puts the camera to the starting point ...)

DeadSomething Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 well, for me it works perfect. i'm only wondering, why i sometimes see the helmet during some animations (sleeping, on horse, mounting horse). this is nowhere in the options and i'd actually love to have this in all animations.

F key free cam around your character.

Nice to see the person who found the fix Thanks very detailed, and helped Oh a little tip, for your dance Firstperson cam, in EnhancedFirstPerson.ini enable third person hands = 1 to see your hands and arms as well when dancing. In oblivion.ini set fneardistance = 4 or 6 to remove clipping then adjust fov by typing in game "fov 85" or "fov 90" without quotes.
DeadSomething Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 so someone changed those lines in loversPK.esp (LAPF) ? or do i have to do it myself? edit: found it man i was stupid i activated the head option in the ini, but it didnt change anything. i still only see the helmet when mounting/dismounting a horse and while going to bed. also i have a strange bug, which i'm not sure if its from this mod or another one: in some viewangles i get a completely grey screen. this is mostly when viewing downwards, but also in other angles. also it's only in some places.

Alex Jacobson Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 There is a source code for this DLL on Nexus, so maybe we can get results by messing around with it. As far as I understand: Oblivion tracks camera rotation and moves your character when you make Z-axis rotation So lovers locks your PC in a specific position to avoid it ruining the animation (we've figured that out already) This DLL forcefully positions your camera at the place where your PC's head is supposed to be, changing both coordinates and rotation Commenting out that rotation fix should be a piece of cake though it might cause problems if PC's head is rotated during the animation. If anyone has VS installed here they can do it right away, otherwise I'll get to it as soon as I move my Oblivion install to new PC, but I can't promise anything. UPD: So, yeah, I've installed VS and managed to rebuild the plugin, but ran into some problems. Apparently I've misunderstood the nature of AdjustPosition module and I just can't get Lovers plugin back into "broken" state when you could rotate around Z axis as well.
ger4 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 New version Enhanced camera just out, although for some reason with the new version, once I disable the fly cam mode with tfc duringa lovers animation and then press R to go into first person, imminently get forced out again by something in the lovers scripting. I can't fix this myself as my construction set extender doesn't want to work (keeps insisting that I don't install it in the program files directory, is there any way to override this behavior?). You would be looking for use of the command ToggleFirstPerson wrapped in an if statement using IsThirdPersonmost likely that is repeatedly called when the animations are playing. Edit - I managed to create this, see if it works with the latest version of enhanced camera Lovers with PK.esp
