SexLab TDF Prostitution and Pimping (the former "Aggressive Prostitution") v2.2.5.5

I am not new to modding, I've used FNIS for tons of mods, but I cannot figure out why FNIS won't read or create files for TDF Prostitution.  I've tried searching the forums, and I can't find a solution.  When I hit update FNIS Behavior, it shows all of the mods it is reading, but TDF is not included, then in the game, the mod works, except for the dancing behaviors that FNIS should have created, which causes a CTD.  Please Help!

The main file (bottom mirror link) has the animation files. The "TDF Aggressive Prostitution - v2_0_1_0 to v2_2_5_2 Update.7z" doesn't.

Thanks for replying nyctophilia, but I have installed the bottom mirror link, and I manually put the files in the animation and behavior folders in meshes.  They look just like any other animation and behavior files I've installed, so I am baffled as to why FNIS won't read them.

Are you using a mod manager? If you're using MO, you're running FNIS through MO? You've looked at the loose files and verified that the TDFP animation files are in the right place? And you've cross-checked with your other animation mods and seen that they are in analogous places? Since FNIS isn't seeing the files at all, it's not a problem with the mod, there's something squirrily with your download or setup.

I don't use an MO,  I do it all manually.  And I've installed a lot of mods that require FNIS, I feel like I'm pretty experienced, and I've never had a problem I couldn't quickly figure out.  I've downloaded and installed this particular mod at least 4 times to make sure I didn't miss anything, and the files all go where the other FNIS required mod folders go, but when I hit the Update FNIS Behavior button it says;

Reading APPS V?.? ...
Reading DeviousDevices V2.8.2 ...
Reading FNISSpells V5.0.1  ( 0 furniture, 0 offset, 9 paired, 0 kill, 0 alternate animations) ...
Reading MNC V?.? ...
Reading sanguinesDebauchery V?.? ...
Reading SexLab V1.59c ...
Reading SexLabCreature V1.59c ...
Reading SexLabDefeat V?.? ...
Reading xo3dBF V?.?  ( 11 furniture, 0 offset, 0 paired, 0 kill, 0 alternate animations) ...
Reading ZaZAnimationPack V6.0.1  ( 26 furniture, 29 offset, 0 paired, 0 kill, 0 alternate animations) ...
Reading zzEstrus V1.2 ...

But nothing about TDFP. even though I hold my breath every time I run it, hoping it won't ignore it this time.

I really am beside myself, I just can't figure it out.  I was hoping someone has seen this before, but so far, it doesn't look like it.  I'm not saying I haven't done something wrong,  I just can't figure out what it is that I've done wrong.

@willtylor
Obviously the file structure within the BSA is correct or we would all be having the same problem. You can always extract the files from the BSA, then you can physically see them and know for sure they are in the correct location.

Installing mods manuly does not make you experienced with mods, its just asks for trouble.

Chances are you manually installed only what is in the .bsa and you are missing the behaviour files in the meshes folder, that FNIS needs in order to register the animations.

I haven't just downloaded a few mods manually, I have installed all of my mods manually.  I've downloaded and installed 60+ mods and they are all working flawlessly, with the exception to this one.  I know I'm not missing the behavior files, because I physically put each one in the behaviors folder in the meshes folder.  I've done it with 11 other FNIS mods, each of them working flawlessly as well.

I have to download my mods manually since I play skyrim on an imac, through a wineskin wrapper.  I'm able to use FNIS through a virtual machine that runs windows.  Unfortunately my computer will not allocate enough vram to the virtual machine for me to just play skyrim off of the virtual machine as well.

I know I'm an idiot for playing skyrim on an imac, but it is the hardware I am stuck with for the time being.

To nyctophilia, I've extraced the bsa file, but i'm not sure what i should be looking for.

Thanks to all!

Well for some reason FNIS does not see the behaviour file. Try to run FNIS for modders and point it to this file:

Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\SexLabTDFAggressiveProstitution\FNIS_SexLabTDFAggressiveProstitution_List.txt

then run FNIS for users

 Nothing. If you're like me, I like to extract most BSA's so I know what I'm dealing / working with in case I want to change a mesh or script by looking at the source files. The only other thing I can think of now that you mention you're running this through a "virtual machine" is there might be a restriction on filename lengths and the allowed characters within filenames. Like "SexLabTDFAggressiveProstitution" the folder for the animation files.

I just installed your mod again to see what has changed since last time, but I haven't tried it out in game yet. Are there any pole dancing animations in the dance section, if not will you be adding any at some point?

Ok, I'm pretty sure you're right about filename length restrictions. When I tried selecting the FNIS_SexLabTDFAggressiveProstitution_List.txt in FNIS for modders as azmodan22 suggested, it said "the above file name is invalid".  So I shortened the name of the animation folder to SexLabTDF, the inside file to FNIS_SexLabTDF_List.txt and the file in the behaviors folder to FNIS_SexLabTDF_Behavior.hkx.  I hit the update FNIS behavior button, and this time FNIS recognized it.  I then changed all the files back to their original names, and changed the name to SexLabTDFAggressiveProstitution on the FNIS for users patch list, and tried to run the program.

I knew this was a shot in the dark, and would have been very surprised if it had worked, but it didn't.  It turned all of my NPC's and myself to statues, so I could move around, but the only thing that could move were NPC's mouths.  So I ran FNIS again, and everything is back to normal.

So I think we've figured out the problem, does anyone know any solutions?

For the animations to work, the name has to be the same as the ESP. So, you can try changing it to SexLabTDF.esp with the other files named as you did before. It will either work, or it won't.

Thanks Nyctophilia, and everyone else who has tried to help me.  Unfortunately changing the name of the .esp file as well didn't work.  At least I get to use the other great features of this mod, even if the dancing won't work for me.  If anyone else has any great ideas, I would be grateful to give them a try.

If you change the ESP name and use a save that had the old ESP name active then the existing content from the save will not work. Load a save that never had "SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution.esp" in it. Changing the ESP name should work so long as any associated files that are in a folder (including the folder) with the plug-in name also have the name changed accordingly.

OK, as it is now, the name of the esp file has spaces in it "SexLab TDF Aggressive Prostitution.esp", wheras the files and folders with the same name do not "SexLabTDFAggresiveProstitution, should I take the spaces out of the esp file "SexLabTDF.esp", or should I put a space in the other files "SexLab TDF_List.txt?
