We've noticed recently that some of the crashes experienced with mods using CBO are related to file path length being hit in Windows which is 260.  The fix for that is to move your mods directory to the root C(or wherever you have your games).  There are a lot of files that have large names to them and can eat up the file length.

 

For Linux users, you won't experience this issue as the max directory length is 4096 and the max file length is 255.

You can play a new game, or you can trigger the kama_start event in the console

This is a new game where I chose the in secret option. What I want to know now is where do I go from here. I have people working in the brothel but that's about it. I have no idea if anything is changing or going to change at some point.

Been working on my first playthrough of this mod, it's been pretty awesome so far! I used a custom character to start with the KS religion and got the god trait, been having a blast exploring the functionality. The only real issue I've come across is that my devas, and sometimes their kids as well, will "disappear without a trace." One thing I've found that causes it is that the Find a Spouse  UI lists already married characters and, if you try to marry your devas to them because you didn't double-check to see if they were unmarried, it'll kill your devas. In another case, I fought a war to put a devas on the throne of the Byzantine Empire and, after winning, she and her son immediately disappeared without a trace. Not sure why that's all happening, but figured I'd put it out there. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see this one grow. ?

Same issues here. It's fun mod and Riija, you have done an incredible job making this. Kudos.

So I did this on purpose because the Devis/Devas are pretty much Angels and extremely powerful.  The base game would sometimes have a family member that would rip them out of your court and place them into theirs.  And with an Angel running around not serving their god is a bad thing.  Plus, they can really wreck havoc to anyone standing in their way(including you which wouldn't make sense).  So, I prevented Angels from joining other courts by killing them if they leave court.  You can, however remove their Angel status and marry them off.

You can go to your paradox launcher and enable debug/console mode.  Then press ` to bring up the console and type what I typed above and press enter.  That will prevent you from having to start a new game.

I don't the Paradox Launcher I use Irony MM. This is a new game - I've explained twice that I have chosen the secret option, built the brothel and got people working in there. What I want to know is what happens next? Am I supposed to play out the entire game with the KS religion in secret?

That explains it! Makes sense that you wouldn't want a bunch of Angels running around on their own, potentially plotting against you... Appreciate the clarification. ?

Funny that you mention this mod growing.  I've been working on something since the last update.  It's an event pack for 'courting' your potential spouse.  I've coded about 4,000 lines so far and I'm not even done with it yet.  I started working on it because Kama Sutra's texts actually goes into detail about finding and courting a spouse.  I felt it would be dumb if I didn't add this into the mod.  It will be a battle of will vs traits you have in common.  I haven't even gotten to the custom animations for the event windows yet.  Since it requires tricky weird coding just to get the CBO animations to work in the event window, this is going to take me a long time to work properly so don't expect this big update soon but I did want to mention that I'm working on something, although would be small, has MANY different possibilities and outcomes.

 

I don't like how you can just click 'find spouse' and have like a damn online dating site where you pick someone and BOOM they're your spouse.  So the code will follow the Friends first, Lover second, then asking for Marriage.  If you have nothing in common with someone you're interested in, you'll be in a world of hurt.   All of this will be optional and only for people that want to indulge in this type of Roleplay.

Remove their angel(Devis/Devas) status.  Gotta clip their wings first if you're a god.

If its not too much trouble it would be nice to have a small event to decide on a childs birthday whether you want them to be immortal or not. A game rule would also work. Because a ton of immortal children can create alot of headaches

Not sure if this issue has been address. Certain cultures, the female breast is having collision issue with their clothes. Is there a way to resolve this issue?

I've noticed that as well and I think it's CBO trying to perform revealing clothing but the revealing clothing isn't there or working right.
