Summary

 

You find some pages written in Sanskrit and look to acquire the full book and translate it. This option is if you don't select a God.

 

Kama Sutra mod gives you 3 different play styles:

 

• Play as a God (currently the Hindu God name but, anyways)
• Create the Kama Sutra faith and to explore Kama in Hindu religion.
• Learn about the Kama Sutra text and practice in secret.

 

You can also build a brothel and have up to 7 workers to earn money or you can do 1,2 and build a brothel. It's all up to you.

 

There's really no challenges in this mod. It has a lot of different content for different play styles.

 

Features

 

Three main featured categories:

 

1. Be the Hindu God Shiva or Parvati depending on sex

Features:

• You and your children become ageless at 18.
• You can invite or bestow Angel(Devas or Devis) powers onto someone who also becomes immortal.
• You will hear prayers of dying or grieving people in your faith
• You will hear prayers from children imprisoned for a long time.
• You will be able to detect orphans and invite them to become an Angel(or to your court)
• You will sense when someone is trying to kill/fabricate you or an Angel.
• You can learn all secrets from someone in exchange for Piety.
• You can kill an entire dynasty in exchange for 50,000 piety.
• Prayer Management system if being a god is too much for you
• You get the God Trait (which is basically super easy-cheat mode if the above isn't easy enough for ya!

 

 

2. Kama Sutra Faith

Features:

• 4 main faith tenets: Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha and are as accurate as I could make them with regards to IRL Hinduism put into CK3
• Lifestyle trait called 'Kama Sutra' with 4 level Tracks of the 4 above with bonuses (and bonuses depend on your cultural traditions).  Every faith follower gets this trait.
• Every year, you will get random events from people far away seeking asylum, or people from your own faith seeking pleasure.
• As the kama Sutra leader, you have a management system dictating Asylum(migration) Gender for easier Courtier management,Clothing(Full, Revealing, Naked) for your entire realm.
• At level 10 Kama, you can choose to become deviant and specialize in certain handpicked areas. You can also change it at any time.

 

3. The Great Brothel

Features:

• Brothel has a lot of stats on it that kind of makes sense for a very large brothel such as a lot of garrison and fort level.
• Once the Great Brothel is built, you can employ Brothel Workers from courtiers to employ a maximum of 7.
• Depending on your prestige will determine how 'well known' the Brothel is. You may get no visitors for years. Get the prestige up!
• Clients will pay more depending on certain traits or sexual knowledge of workers.
• You can Train workers in certain positions to increase income. (Anal is the only one coded for now.)
• Every year, you will get a notification on all Brothel Workers and how much they have made, and then one that gives a total of how much the Brothel has made and how many Clients visited.

Make Love option now presents an Event window with options:

• If you or your lover is Anal Deviant (or Anal Trained) you will get the option for Anal
• Blow Job animation created above
• Vaginal Sex using CBO Animations+
• Male on Male option if both are male. (This triggers a second window of who will be top/bottom. Sorry, only one animation so far)

 

All sex animations will have a Cum in/out option(for pregnancy control) and the ones I have created have the animations for them.

If the animations don't line up, it is because either your character, or your partner is taller or shorter than the average height.

Myself and AbrevLan(95% Abrevlan) is working on fixing this in the future which I will fix the animations I've created for this when

it's figured out.

Potential Conflicts

 

Any mod that changes Faith GUI.

Any mod that changes how 'Make Love' works

Any mod that changes the Carnalitas Rape interaction

Any mod that adds animations/clothing(With requests I can add support for it if there's a CBO Compatch for it already)

 

 

I'm willing to create more of the following if there's enough requests. Each animation scene I create has at least 5 animations for

immersion and flavor so they take awhile to create.

• Angels(Devi/Devas) will no longer be murdered if they leave your court.  They will simply lose their wings and other buffs they had.
• Your children will not longer automatically get the Angel trait.  You can still 'Bestow Angel' onto them whenever you wish.
• Sex scenes should be quiet as it's your private chambers.  As such, I've removed ambient chatter for a more 'private' immersion.  This applies to the Anal scenes.

You'll need a new game to trigger the start event asking if you want to play as a God, or a Mortal.

 

If you have access to the console, you can trigger_event kama_start.0001 and it will begin your journey with your current save

Very nice coding by Pharaox on this mod.  The location effects and everything puts a nice touch on it.  The scenes in Kama Sutra use Carnal Court so it would conflict, at least with the Make Love interaction.  You could technically move the load order to whatever make love interaction you prefer, however you won't see much of the new animations I have in Kama Sutra.  It's all up to you on how you want to experience the mod though.

On starting a new game is it better to start as the KS religion or some other?

 

How do you choose to not be Parvati, i.e. choose the mortal option? If I choose 'no' I still get the massive 100 bump in every stat.

 

I also don't have any sort of option in the right click menu for 'Make Love' or whatever. So how does one initiate sex?

I just ran a test game, and choosing a Mortal Life did not grant me the god trait.  Do you have any other mods that give you 100 stats?

 

You can play however you want to play.  If you choose the Mortal Life, you do discover Kama Sutra book and get the option to Move to India.  If you do, you adopt the kama sutra faith and adapt a kama sutra culture similar to the one you had before.  You can also choose to practice it in secret as well.

 

For more clarity:

• Adopting a similar culture means that the code takes a look at your culture clothing to determine where you are coming from, and gives you the same clothing/hair style as your previous culture.

 

Make Love will show up if you have someone you're married to, or have a lover, etc.  It also can't be on cooldown.  And, there's a game rule for showing sex interactions that need to be enabled(Carnalitas Rule.  I think default is enabled though).

 

I just updated to version 0.2 which changelog notes are posted above.

Perhaps I'm missing something here but I seem to have gone from one extreme to the other. I started a new game and didn't choose KS during character creation. In the game I read the book and chose the mortal option with practice in secret. I have built the brothel (it's finished) and . . . .?

 

I have no idea what I need to be doing to 'practice in secret' or what I do with the brothel. I have been given a couple of traits for no apparent reason - strong and another I can't recall. Meanwhile I'm sat around doing nothing except crank out babies.

You can right click on a courtier and you should have the option to 'Employ Brothel Worker' which will give you a list and who will accept being a Brothel worker.

 

Your prestige will depend on how widely known your secret is.  Events are randomized as well so some (or multiple years) won't have events.  The higher your prestige, the more events you will get, (and more brothel visitors).  You'll need workers to get income, and workers that people will want to do things with.  Someone who likes only males will want a male worker, etc.  Lustful workers can be trained for Anal.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Currently I'm ten years in and apart from 4 children and two traits nothing much has happened.

 

EDIT. I can't see any option in my courtiers.

I'm playing Penugonda in the centre with the Srikula Shaktism religion. Kama Sutra is loading last.

 

I've just double-checked every courtier I have but there is nothing about employing, brothels or workers.

 

For what it's worth, here is a screenshot of the context menu. More or less the same for married/unmarried, male/female, young or old. I've even got two slave prostitutes and they are the same.

I can't reproduce the error.  Do this in dev console and this will fix you:

 

effect = { set_global_variable = { name = brothel_clients value = 0 } }

 

then another:

 

effect = { set_global_variable = { name = brothel_money value = 0 } }

 

These variables are set when you build the brothel so I'm not sure why you don't have these variables.  You also need to be 18 or over.

I believe I've found the issue.  I'll release an update soon to fix it.  However, it is odd that education isn't removed from characters when they should be by the base game.

For the AI to accept (for the GUI at least) there needs to be a recipient, and I wasn't able to remove the candidate part.  I used this window to populate a list for you that you can invite and you will know who will accept instead of right clicking on every courtier you have. 

 

Uhhhhh the ai_sex is supposed to be for AI matchmaking.  I'll remove that interaction as a player option in a future update since that was used for testing to get the AI to actually sex it up between themselves.

Hey so this sounds like a great idea, it's unfortunately crashing on startup. I had multiple mods, but then disabled all except the ones you require (and their requirements) and it still crashes. Any advice?

I've not had any problems with crashes. I'm using Irony MM. I have this mod and Regula Magistri as the last two in the LO. If I'm playing RM I untick this mod and vice versa for when I play this mod.
