It was the simplest automated way for NPC's to become prostitute.  You just threw them some tavern clothes and then they got to work!
 

In fact, I don't remember there being anything wrong with the approach system or the wardrobe system.  I used them extensively with hundred of mods.

The clothes option still works - it's simply a keyword attached to the clothes (and also to the enchanted amulet of dibella). Give either to your NPC and off they go!

Not sure if this is a me problem or something others encountered (or a 'I added this mod mid save' problem, some mods seem to be a bit quirky about this), but talking with any innkeeper and asking:

'Do you have any work for a <character race here>'

then refusing/denying to work as either a prostitute or barmaid (the 'No, I'll find work elsewhere' dialogue option) starts the misc quest 'Agreeing to sell my body for gold?' even though the opportunity for work was denied..

 

Is this intentional, or a bug?

You're the best!  Thanks for the info.

So the MCM Working Clothes options menu doesn't work, but one could theoretically manage them manually with keywords in a patch...
I'll probably just use the amulet

Anybody knows if there is a VOICE PACK available for this version already?
I can only find the Voicepacks for the old Gigolo Version of this :(

I'd just like to put in a word for considering restoring passive approaches.  I understand the reasons for removing it, but a fairly simple check for player busy status (is in faction SexLabAnimatingActors, controls are locked, is in a scene or conversation, is in combat, sneaking, or sitting (for crafting)) would eliminate most of the problems with inappropriate interruptions from would-be clients.  Likewise, a conditional property set on DHLP Suspend/Restore would be easy to check.

 

As for inefficiency, I never found it to have a noticeable effect, and players who choose to use the feature should understand that they're accepting some processing load.  Perhaps a "not recommended" or "use at own risk" suffix, or a popup warning on the MCM, would absolve you of blame.  It's just a pity to see an interesting feature lost.  Just something to maybe think about.

I believe that is the latest voicepack.  It mostly still works.  None of the new lines work, of course.  And I'm finding some of the older ones that did work don't always fire off.  For me, some is better than none, but I'd love it if a new voicepack came out.

If no one else does it, I'll take a shot at it.  I've not done one of these before and would be fun to learn how.

I don't have SLSO but I'm getting 'Client Satisfaction: 0' sometimes (They say they didn't cum/climax). This makes sense since she was still rank 1 prostitute, but the mod says every actor should have an orgasm at the end of a scene. I didn't see anything on the mod page about random satisfaction levels unless I'm blind, so I just wanted to make sure this was a feature, not a bug.

In the older version of Sexlab that I have, because I need the VR version, there is an option in there for SO.  It works independently of SLSO.  I find that same-sex clients often don't climax when I have this enabled.  You might try toggling that off and see if you have better luck.

I was also a bit sad to see the passive solicitation feature gone as it always seemed to work fine for me so I took a look at the scripts and i noticed that Bratty Cheeks only commented out the lines that added the options to the mcm page, I didn't do extensive testing, but after uncommenting them and compiling the script (mf_handler_config.psc), the feature seemed to be working again. I only tested a few minutes to see if a client came and if i was able to accept though, so i'll come back and either update or remove the files if i find anything not working properly.

 

here is the updated script. Of course, if Bratty Cheeks wants me to remove those files I obviously will. (Although he/she can probably do it without my help, I'm not sure of how it works)

On another topic, I know I probably am in the minority of people who actually use the feature but I would love an improvement/rework of the waitress feature, it would probably take too much time for something would probably not interest a lot of people but having it reworked in a way that you don't have to return the money after every client served but when you either quit or come to get the next order would be lovely. Or if anything just have more variety in the client orders. They have only 3 different orders they can ask for (I think) and they always involve 3 items.

 

Anyway thank you for keeping the awesome work on this mod !

Question for my fellow hoes.

 

Can I run this on LE? Currently using Gigolo SE 7.0.4 but I don't know what new changes in this version may effect my game. Also using the LE version of SL. Would that be a problem?

Gigolo SE 7.0.4 is stable in my current game. Does this version currently introduce problems that would make it worth waiting to try to use? OP hasn't been around for awhile so I'm not sure what issues may be pending.

I have used this feature before and it is a bug fest mess. There is a reason to disable that. But I guess everyone has their taste too.

I am sorry that this feature is a "bug fest mess" for you. But It seems I am not the only one who had it work flawlessly (or good enough that there is a demand for it). I am not even kidding, I don't know what those bugs you are refering to are despite using it in a lot of different playthroughs.

 

I must say though that there has always been a way to disable this feature. In fact I don't think it has ever been activated by default in any version of the mod.

do you mean "bug fest" the NPCs walked up to the PC in the most unwanted situations? like when other mod run their scenes or stuff?

 

That is the one thing I remember for myself tho. the NPCs kept coming and foregreeting, even when I was fucked bound treated via another mod, (Naked Defeat, Prison Overhaul, etc.)

 

Any other problems? just curious really.

No, it is the same problem with me too.

It doesn't have a way to dispose of the function when something is wrong, so if you are on other events that interrupt it, then the NPCs will keep following you (and try to trigger the event again) => which will lead you to have a huge long wall of people following you anytime anywhere.

Then if you go to the other area, just keep in mind these NPCs still keep tracking you => the papyrus stack has more things to do. I don't know if it can lead to VM overstress later or not though (never tested it to this point)

I haven't read all the code but it seems has some magic code inside it. I once tried to fix the problem about giving 2 boots, when I write give 1 it still gives 2, but when I change to 0 then it doesn't give me any boots .~.

I'm sorry too, I don't mean this is a bad feature. This is just a flaw in the design. It will work fine if you don't insert some other force greeting event in the game. If you want to see how it is buggy you can try to install Slaverun Enforcer Standalone (or any mod has a forced greeting event) and then wear the tavern clothes or any clothes which have whorejob keyword in it then see how both the mod will work.

well, it would be easy to add checks for the feature.

Scripts could check for
- Player has Sex

- Player is Sitting (furniture)

- DHLP Suspend (some mods use it so other mods can shut up in the meantime)

- InDialogue 

 

should also be possible to add a timer so that it auto aborts after some time. 

 

etc. 

I was thinking about picking up Radiant Prositution for a long time now, hoped to also learn about dialogues and stuff in the process.

When I have time I will see if I can add the checks and upload a patch that could then be integrated in a new version too.

 

I also wanted to add detection of Dirt (from Bathing in Skyrim) and Cum to adjust prices accordingly (dirty whores earn less)

add factions that determine the whore status per city instead of in general (I still am a whore and have no idea from where... have to check all the holds and talk to the innkeepers...)


I also never see what my level is and progression seems to take forever. Is there ever anything else than the camp and house quests?

 

Horse quest is also bugged (I can fuck the dog but not the horse), dunno if that is even from this mod tho... (talking to the guys at the stables, fuck the horse for 50, then fuck the guy??)

So because several mods with similar functions (forced greeting event) conflict with each other, you think it's a good idea to remove this functionality from this particular mod? Even though it was optional, and could simply not be activated?

Sorry, but I can't understand why you left this feature active if you saw that it wasn't working correctly with your personal mod set and mods settings?

For me personally, this feature was the most important part of this mod. And I was completely happy with how it worked, because there were no conflicts with other mods in my mod set. This mod has been part of my core mod set for 9 years now, precisely because of the "passive approaches" feature. Because thanks to this feature it gave the best "inn prostitute" gameplay of available. And yes, the best does not mean perfect, because we choose from what we have.

No Trouble was a misleading phrase. RP will fail to quest while Approach or Aroused Creatures are enabled. I play with these mods temporarily disabled.

I just want to know what is the chance of ”Bet your sweet ass"? or other specific conditions can trigger it. I have been Save/load like 10min but didn't see it

I don't know the exact chances. In my case this has only occurred once during 811 test play, and quest was not complete because of bugs.

Love your mod, + Whorecrux.
I tried out the loan feature for 1st time after forever.

However, Borrowing gold feature from innkeepers (from major cities w/ wall) didn't seem to trigger properly for my run.
Dialogue comes out fine but gold doesn't get handed over hence not triggering the actual "borrow" part.

I do have Simple Slavery plus plus installed and all req that works fine. (checked via console)
I have tried this feature after uninstalling Economy mods, thinking some economy mod might be blocking inn keeper's gold.

No luck with those.

I even thought Sexlab Survival or Apropos to be the villain here with them being script heavy, but apparently borrowing gold still won't register on a run without'em still.

No need to stress over my issue since it looked like nobody else was having this issue from forum, but if you got any susception in regards, please do let me know.
