LAPF

I get an issue during Sex animations where the penis just stretches off into the horizon.

 

Mod List:

Player Slave Encounters

 

Every Mod required by that mod, and every mod required by those required mods.

 

HGEC Body, Robert's Male Body, and Oblivion Character Overhaul.

 

I'm about 99% sure I keep messing something up. Help?

 

Something has overwritten the LAPF skeletons so your current ones are missing the penis bones.

 

 

 

I figured that out after I posted it, but I can't figure out what's doing it. I don't get any warning asking if I want to change it.

You never will.  Oblivion is an old game and doesn't have any sort of "protection" against that kind of overwrite.  You MUST be aware of what you are installing and what it contains.

So should I install LAPF last, then?

Yes you can install LAPF again ....BUT if you use Loverscreatures you must also install LoversCreatures again AFTER LAPF.

 

Or you can upack LAPF somewhere and copy the Skeleton meshes

data\meshes\characters\_male\ skeleton.nif and skeletonbeast.nif

data\meshes\characters\_1stPerson\skeleton.nif 

 

paste the meshes in your game Folders

 

And backup the LAPF Skeletons somewhere: if a Mod overwrites your Skeletons you can quickly install the LAPF Skeleton again.

Even when I do that, the problem persists. I'm thoroughly confused now.

Have you set archive invalidate via Bsa Redirection ? with Oblivion Mod Manager or Wrye Bash.

 

Without archive invalidate Oblivion use the original game Skeleton.

Ok I'm having some trouble with using LAPF, when I start a scene with either a guy and gal or two gals using the "Attacking woman grows penis" option it stretches out the penis animations.  I have tried reinstalling everything from the ground up, I am using Steam version of Oblivion and I have even moved it out of Program Files and into the Games folder instead.  

 

I have tried overwritting the Skeleton files with the ones inside the LAPF folder (the ones that are 95kb and 58kb).  But every time I do that HGEC Body with BBB v1dot12-34442 mod goes out of wack and streaches the breasts all out, or removes them compleatly.  When I reinstall that mod it resets the skeletons to 75kb and 53kb.

 

The LAPF works otherewise and everything runs fine, its just the animation during the sex scenes goes wonky if I use the "Attacking woman grows penis" option, or if a male char is involved in the sex scene.  

 

I have read the read me files and gone through each step and double checked I was following the instructions correctly.  I have even gone to fejeenas' yellow link of instructions and checked my Oblivion.ini file for the archive invalidation, and I have skipped the step for Growlf's Universal Skeleton (as in I don't install it since i'm installing v1.6a1 LAPF).  

 

I'm pretty sure its the HGEC mod that messing the skeleton files up, but I'm not sure how to correct it.  I am installing the HGEC mod via OBMM and LAPF manually.  I have tried deleting all my other mods, uninstalling Oblivion and starting over, with just LAPF and the nude mods, nothing else.  And it still reacts this way, so thats why I suspect its the HGEC mod doing it but.

Yes, it's the HGEC mod that's changing the skeleton. A better option would be to use Setbody, which has the latest version of HGEC and many other bodies. You'll also need the lastest version of LoversJoystick. Both are available here:

LAPF Skeleton installed after HGEC Body with BBB

You can install HGEC Body with BBB manually without the Skeleton.

In the ModManager in the right window click the HGEC Body with BBB OMod  and choose extract to Folder. ( choose a empty folder )

Then check the Folders. You need the textures for all races and one female Body ( Hand, foot, upperbody ,lowerbody) copy-paste the 4 nif files in your game Folder ( meshes\characters\_male)

Ok I've followed fejeenas' steps above, I looked into the folders and found one titled Docs, so I naturally deiced to go in there first looking for Read Me files and such.  The first one being the HGEC Body readme, well the first line of it states "1. Open the HANDS folder and drag the DATA folder in it to your Oblivion folder. This IS REQUIRED as it has a skeleton that IS REQUIRED to keep your boobs on the screen."  

 

That doesn't make me feel any better :/   well I found the hand, foot, upper, and lower body nif files for the type I wanted.  Copied those over to there correct locations, double checked the skeletons and found they were missing so put them back where they should be.  When I go in game the boobs are either off screen or not to be seen.  And the penis issue is still stretching off screen.  I know I got to be missing something here, either that or some file just doesn't want to cooperate.

Sorry I don't understand what you mean by "show this animation".

I use ModManager for 99% of my mods and the Nexus Mod Manager for 1% of stuff.  I've followed the helpful tips you have linked on Archive Invalidation, I have even checked the .ini file to compare what I should see with what you posted in your handy yellow link.

ahh now I understand what your asking.  Ok I wouldn't really say its the animations themselves since when I turn the option off for "Attacking Woman grows penis" they do there thing and everything looks perfectly fine, just kinda silly since there isn't any dildo to be seen.  When its a guy and girl going through the sex scenes the guys dick stretches off into the distance. 

 

I even cycle through the various poses and animations while waiting for them to finish and either they look fine (female on female with no strap on/penis) or they its stretched out badly (male on female or female on female with strap on/penis).

 

I know it seems like such a silly little thing but its been bugging at me all month, while I've tried to sort it out and haven't been making much head way tell today when I asked for help.

That's weird..no boobs stretching , so your game use a BBB Skeleton but not the LAPF Skeleton ( only the LAPF Skeleton have Penis bones for male and female dicks/strapon)

Yeah its really got me confused as to what is causing it and how to correct it.  Hence why I finally threw my hands up in the air and came here asking for help.  

 

Like I said its such a small thing too, I can play the game fine with all the mods, everything works like it should expect for the one small tiny detail when a guy and gal have sex, or when I have to gals have sex using a dildo.

Post your load order and MAKE SURE you do NOT have any mods installed that have a skeleton buried in a bsa file.  Archive invalidation via bsa redirection corrects this most of the time........

As for the the load order I've checked your helpful list, and made sure to follow it.  I have even tried this with no other mods installed.

I was wondering about that.  Is the LAPF stuff supposed to be at the top or bottom?  I wasn't able to find anything saying one way or the other.
