Nintendo is too busy going after over 200,000 redditors in a Switch piracy subreddit apparently.

They care way too much about poor people playing their games for free than going after someone literally profiting off their copyrighted material.

Source? also if your looking for information, why not check out their discord? i wont provide a link you can find that yourself. its not that hard. Also they post updates for free. And they want to only release one version, which will be the full version, but some updates may come later. some nude content is hard to find or publicly unreleased to keep large Companies that start with N at bay. Yes, all the models are completed at this time, but that's the easy part. ToTK was made nearly impossible to mod. Right now they are doing much more than just texture swapping. A full game rework is taking place. some physics took entire months to figure out how to jerry-rig. You can't create jiggle physics out of nothing you know. and its going to be a much more immersive mod. there are entire mechanics being added to the game. They are building their own version of Rome, and Rome can't be built in a day. Have patience everyone. Even the big N says "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad"

if you are looking for a simple nude zelda mod, this is not what they are making. They chose to build something else and their community is the group of people that want something more than just a cheap porn mod. they're looking for story and grace. its the difference between a year eight's creative writing short story and a college thesis. if this isn't what you're looking for, then the mod isn't being made for you. As someone who codes as a living, the bugs must be a nightmare. I hear their team even created a small, but ugly bug just to get rid of several other larger issues.

Also sockpoppet has made simple nude mods plenty of times before, just look at BotW. But yeah, something tells me this mod is never happening and Nintendo will shut them down before we know it since he's MAKING MONEY OFF MODDING A NINTENDO GAME.

im not holding my breath for it to come out, but also ive seen the "they're just gonna sit on it forever because the crowdfunding is making them money" thing for so many projects and its never actually been true for any ive followed so hopefully the trend continues.

 

that being said, im not actually a huge fan of the way sockpoppet and co design bodies, so id definitely prefer a zelda nude mod with more regular proportions that i can just use with something like zelda's ballad

or the return of the linkle mod, as unrealistic as that would be

Either Zelda or Linkle, Sockpoppet's character design was okay, he did make options in BotW so Linkle could have some normal sizes. But yeah like I said multiple times, it's not happening, I stopped playing the game a long time ago anyways.

Other patron's provide you their content.  This one is a "just trust me bro"  

The guy is raking in thousands of dollars each month.
Even though he said that he already completed the model, multiple outfits, animations and icons within the first few months of the game coming out. 
Its now been 16 months since he told us this.  

So it takes 3 months to finish the Zelda model and make all these outfits and content like sounds and animations.  

16 months since he finished it, and he has showed us less stuff than he showed us near the games launch.  
It's blatant stalling.  In 3 months he made more content than he made in these past 16 months.

After hearing so many wanting a playable Zelda mod, I tried to create one myself with some success. However, seeing so many lock their mods behind paywalls, and the recent takedowns by the big N was really disheartening. I put A LOT of effort in the models I created for Purah, Riju and my new Zelda, from closely matching proportions to providing textures with proper specular and normal maps, custom outfits, etc. I had high hopes to provide these alternatives for those waiting, spending time learning how to do all this with my first Zelda mod test, but it all felt like wasted effort when others are profiting on their work.

 

Don't get me wrong, I understand why people are doing it. It takes a lot of free time to create mods. I thought about opening an optional donation page, but I wouldn't dare take the risk with how rampant N has been. It simply just isn't worth the effort spent for free, which I knew from the start.

 

Sorry in advance to anyone looking forward to my Riju mod. I won't be releasing anymore mods for the time being. The modding interest for this game is just stagnant, I left it too late, I was too ambitious.

I appreciate that you seem to like what we’re going for.

 

but as you can see, white knighting us is only gonna make people think you’re a shill.

 

ultimately, whether it’s the people who hate that we’re making a sexy mod at all on TikTok or the people who hate how long we’re taking to make our vision, the mod will come out someday and people will probably still have complaints about the creative choices we made.

 

already not everyone likes the proportions for the body. But it is absolutely not realistic to make every armor 3 times for S, M, and L sizes for the body.

 

And I agree, no one should support our patreon to get the mod because we don’t give it to people as a reward.

 

and you don’t even have to for the patron updates since we actively don’t ask Kemono to remove our posts.

Can someone link me tools to mod TOTK at least, I use blender and do 3D modeling but I don't know how to MOD.  
I would gladly shamelessly copy the guys model and and outfits and then release it.  He doesn't own the Zelda IP so he can't do anything about it.

Switch Toolbox which is the main tool used

 

RESTBL Calculator which is used to generate a new resource size table file that accounts for bigger model/texture file sizes

 

Don't think you really need anything else to do what you intend to but Blender. You can find the other tools here but they seem to be mainly for meddling with text or event code of the game, etc
