...You'd think someone would've just ported over the Zelda/Linkle mod from BotW already with some changes here and there like the whole arm thing and of course outfits. -.-

There is someone working on a playable Nude Zelda mod for totk. Last I remember, they expect the mod to be done around q1 of 2025. There's no early access or beta of it yet (At least not one that I know of), but the group goes by Studio Shigeki if you're interested.

Iirc, it is Sockpoppet's mod, but Studio Shigeki is where they post most of their progress since it isn't just Sockpoppet working on it.

My point was, I just wanted a simple nude Zelda/Linkle mod...but for whatever reason Sock just wants to take forever doing all of this instead...that was supposed to be out ages ago...and chances are it still won't be coming out next year.

I’m sorry, but nothing about modding this game is simple.

 

it’s enough different than BotW that a lot of time was spent getting things to work and cracking things to have capabilities needed to do this.
 

the Ports of the SFW mods have taken equally long, and appear stalled, and their methodologies were less complex since they were basically skins over Link. (Ours replaces him completely, and is actually Zelda height)

 

I understand that there are probably more people than you who would have been fine with just the naked body and every armor being broken and weird. 

and they may not care about every other innovation we’ve made. 
 

but that’s not what we want to create.

 

and in terms of how long it takes, it’s an absolute truckload of work.

but current workflow looks like a 1.0 release probably being attainable in Q1-Q2 of 2025.

But we’re certainly not gonna kill ourselves to his that target if something delays us. 

 

And If you actively don’t like the vision we’ve been building, then when it comes out, don’t play it 🤷‍♂️

 

alternatively you could find the time to learn or practice modding the game yourself and be the change you want to see in the world.

we’re making the mod we want to play when we’re done.

 

 

Also, I love that people point out the nude NPCs as something they think caused bloat.

all those changes are always done in the spare time while we wait for other team members to finish their parts. 
it wouldn’t have come out any faster if that hadn’t been added 🤣

we have had a lot of people request Rito though, so that may come down the line.

Take all the time you need. Your work is impressive, and even if we don't get slutty bird mommies and baddie beaked daddies in the initial release, I'm sure we'd all be happy for a patch in later down the line if your team finds the time to make one.

By the way, something isn't clear to me, are we going to see ponos in vagoo or is just text? I understand there are sex scenes in the mod or were planned at some point, or maybe I just understood plain wrong

I understand people have different preferences but personally I am not into it, if it is feasible I would like to request it to be an optional feature and not a mandatory part of the mod?

I'm pretty sure that for stuff like the npcs you could just comb through the files included in the mod and remove the ones you dont want. Without the updated textures and models, the game should just use their stock models. although that could be difficult if you don't know exactly what you're looking for and might break the mod a little depending on how important the changes made were. Kind of like the coconut png that broke TF2 when you deleted it. maybe ill test it and make a guide for you when the mod comes out. like a sheet that shows which files correlate to which npcs.

2. Wait for someone to make the mod and release it.
3. Make the mod yourself.
4. Find someone capable of making the mod and convince them to make it (pay them)

but you can always just delete the files that change them in order to customize your experience as much as possible.

You are making me want to donate, but already was burned by fucking Breeding season out of all patreons, so I rather pay for something already done or that has already gone the direction I want, about birds, I'm genuinely OK with seeing cloacas/human pussy on them, and seeing the amount of fans the Avians from starbound have I think you'll be bringing some more people, good luck on the project

reading this thread made me make an account cause in the two years you've spent whining waiting for someone to make what you want, you couldve learned and done it yourself lmao. mod makers have 0 obligation to rush and appeal to ungrateful users

Thanks for your hard work it's looking great ♥ but as a poor 3rd worlder I can't help but hope the final product isn't paywalled, thanks for reading this and hopefully you guys get less hate moving forward from ungrateful people
