Prevents x117 characters from using the Lovers system. I'm not sure if it will stop Tamago from activating remotely. If it doesn't, let me know and I'll try to fix it, since this is mainly aimed at preventing children from... well... yeah.

 

Note:

This will only affect new x117 characters. I don't know how to go about adding it to existing x117. You can add it manually through the command "addSpell xx000ed4" where xx is the load-order number of this ESP.

Good idea, i could release a modification to make Tamago to have your mod as a dependency, forcing people to have yours also installed along side it, so we won't have more talk of this..

 

If i have more time coming weekend i will try to make a release for this.

I'm another who wouldn't want it to be made mandatory.. I wouldn't be against it being included in the next Tamago readme/download though, so anyone who didn't know it wasn't needed to get it all working would install the addon per the instructions.

 

Takes care of anyone new to the mod not discussing... that, and it makes it so that people who prefer to leave it off their option aswell.

 

Or perhaps being able to toggle it in-game with a console command? Default it being on.

I wasn't sure how it's handled south of the border, but here in Canada it's right in the Criminal Code that everything is banned, ficticious works, be they written, drawn or typed.

 

As for the morality thing, I think it should be an optional plug in, not required. I follow John Stuart Mill's harm principle. I don't like it when people censor my stuff, so regardless of my own moral compass, I will not censor, nor will I condone the censorship of someone else or I am not deserving of the liberties I enjoy.

 

Anyway, don't wanna get too off track, just wanted to say that although I am interested in this plug in being integrated into Tamago club, I'd want it to be an optional thing, because I don't wanna force my own beliefs and morals on someone else.

The proper thing to do would be to add the token that stops all Lovers activity (which I used in this plugin), but if I can't hook into Tamago or Lovers without adding another dependency, I'll just make creatures that are smaller than a size of ~.95 not be allowed you mount you through LoversBitch.

 

On topic, a plugin that develops your child and then removes this should be possible. Depending on race, after a certain time all of the child's stats/items are moved to a newly-created NPC that would be an adult-equivalent race of what it was. However, I wouldn't be the one to make it. I've got LoversBitch keeping me busy enough in my free time.

Couldn't you just tag the x117 mods in Lovers as prohibited from sex? Which is the 2nd to last option in the Lovers setting spell I believe. Doing so should cause any npc from tagged mods to not be able to take part in any lovers mod.

I haven't tested it, but I'd imagine that it checks what mod an NPC is from by the load order ID. Children are created in-game, so their ID would be FF, meaning that method wouldn't work. But I very well could be wrong.

Which is exactly why I wouldn't let it try to mount you, it's too small. I could just make them bigger, but I'll probably add in my own puppy-making script that activates if you spend a bit too much time in the breeding kennels. Of course, that won't stop Tamago from making them too...

i use x117 characters sometimes. but i dont use them because they look like child. i use them as substitute for hobbits and dwarfs. to have posibility to exclude child from intercourse is ok, but to exclude player character i dont know.

right now i dont use Tomago. kids looked weird and i hated when they raped me (loversLandE/Joburg). and sex as x117 is sometimes useless because of size issue.

I believe as long as it does not require too much work, we should respect donkey's choice of making this mod compulsory.  Donkey has been one of the biggest (or is the biggest) contributor for the english translated lovers edition. Hence he should have more say it this issue then any of us

I never use Tomago anyways, cause I don't want MBP installed.  All those races sit there and take up storage space on my harddrive and are never used.

I didn't imply anything. Ashal already stated that mods with "loli" characters are okay, mods with children not. The line is drawn, there is no need to discuss what should be allowed here and what not. You may judge people who enjoy this particular part of the Lovers series but think about how many people would judge you if they knew that you are playing Oblivion with mods that have a heavy tendency towards rape and forced sex. What I am trying to say is that morality in it's very nature is subjective.

 

That doesn't mean that you have to tolerate everything. But saying "fictional rape is fine and enjoyable because nobody gets hurt" and saying "fictional sex with underaged characters is disgusting and you should be locked up in jail for that" is very inconsistent, to say the least.

 

That's why we shouldn't discuss such things here. It's up to Ashal to say what is allowed and what is not since he runs this place.

There is also the fact that while the x117 race is certainly young looking; it doesn't logically follow that its a child race since this is fantasy/fiction. My only x177 (which I don't use Lovers with; because it doesn't fit the character) is a Vampire that was bitten when she was twelve and was around when the Empire was formed. She is a stupildy powerful necromancer and such; she is also old and wise.

 

At the end of the day though Donkey does a lot of work for the community; so i'm not going to complain if for his own peace of mind he wants to do this. I do feel the need to point out that in most places however x117 isn't illegal since most of these laws you have to be able to prove a characters age. I do also agree personally with everything Grim said abut morality.

 

I'm actually a little suprised at this so soon after Wolflore banned Lovers for similar 'moral' reasons. I think thats the biggest aly to what Grim has just said. Its a similiar idea but on a smaller scale.

In HiyokoGeneratorCreature.esp there's a script called a3hgcrOnLive.  This script seems to control the stages of growth for tomago-born creatures.  The script that creates the creatures is a3hgcrGenerator.  If you can figure out those two scripts, you could insert your token into the creatures when they're first created and then remove the token when they are full grown.  The scripting in there is too advanced for me to figure out... I gave it a try and just wasn't able to make it work.

Donkey, I have a suggestion, seeing as how you're planning on making LoversDisableX117 mandatory. (Something I don't have a problem with, by the way. Hell, I'd even applaud you for it).

If you'd make this plugin mandatory, would you also be willing to try and imput a script like the one mentioned below quote as well, for the hyoko-generated children?

I think it would add a great deal of realism to the mod. (Just a friendly reminder, seeing as how LoversDisableX117 would be mandatory, pedophelia isn't possible. So no worries there)

Necro as much as you like. Chances are someone, at some point, will be interested in finding this.... I will dig through my archives but I don't remember grabbing it...so don't rely on me finding it.

 

You try may PMing Triratna, who might be a good source for the file. Also you might try posting in the what is this thread, which tends to get a lot of hits to see if someone has the file.
