Hey,
No, I was just updating some text today. I’m moving my mod from LoversLab to SubscribeStar. The reason? I simply don’t feel at home here anymore.

To clarify, there is no drama or conflict between me, the site, its moderators, or any users. I’m just being honest about how I feel.

It's sad that this is the case. I tried to find you on this site, but unfortunately I couldn't. I would gladly subscribe to you on that site if you plan to release new mods. Unfortunately, I can't do that at the moment. Politicians, damn them.

I haven’t set up that link yet, and there’s no need to subscribe to anything. What I’m really after is peace of mind. I’ve been considering starting a Discord instead of subscribestar, but I’m a bit worried it might just end up stressing me out—things tend to move too fast in Discord servers.

The pressure of not wanting to disappoint the expectations that your fans (myself included) have on you and your work ends up burning you out, I understand that perfectly. In that regard, you have to try to relax, set reasonable goals, and not only remember, but remind your people that this is a hobby, something you dedicate your spare time to outside of work, family, and any other obligations.

 

Embrace Debian's old motto: it will be released when it's ready. When you can, but above all, when you feel like it.

If you create a Discord channel or open a page on SubscribeStar to continue your work, I would appreciate it if you could let us know here.

I meant a paid subscription :)
But if there's also a Discord channel, that would be great too. I hope you'll have time for that.

I respect your choice but it seems pretty idiotic moving away from the second biggest modding site to another smaller. You're shooting yourself on the foot imo. I've already seen adult modlists removing it.

It will slip into irrelevance like other mods that did the same  not only from here but nexus as well. Lets see if its gonna become paywalled in the future as well...

I know you meant that. I've set subscriptions to 1$ cause thats the lowest subscribestar will allow. Meaning, it's not the money that drives me.

If you like something, perhaps you might try to act more in kindness and charity to the one who creates it.

Yes, I understand. It's not about the amount. Whether it's $1 or $5, it's not a problem for me. The problem is that my country is under sanctions. And I simply cannot pay foreign bills, unfortunately. It's not only in your country that politicians do crazy things.

I understand that you are upset and disappointed by this decision. Not everyone will be happy about it. But it is the author's choice. And why use harsh words? The author owes us nothing and clearly does not deserve such treatment. Please be kinder.

I can't find 1.9 anywhere already. It seems that just continues with this version.

 

Personally, I never have used the mod, and from what I am seeing how hard it is to even get it, probably never will. I will not create another account on another website if I can avoid it. While I cannot understand your decision, it is of course yours to take. It just reminds me on the fragmentation of Minecraft modding with all its launchers and websites and yeah... it just doesn't make things accessible.

Kinda. It's on this other website. But to use it you need to identify yourself for age verification and I'll never ever do that. It's just a privacy nightmare waiting to happen. I can't find any old version anywhere either. Luckily enough I have an older one and remembered why I didn't use it. Back then the creatures were too bright as some didn't work with ENB I used. Maybe they work better with CS now.
