Can't progress please help. Ok it looks like my client may be from expanded towns. Do I hunt down all the new people and ask them? Will that work or do I have to uninstall the mod?

Most likely it has to do with an other mod that adds people. The way i work around it is use the save before and load it untill you get a named nps

TheSC Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 After some short research I found out that Belethor dieing is not something that happens every time but more a random casualty that sometimes occurs(only if you have dawnguard). When my mod is installed I will make sure Belethor is essential so he won't die. I can fix the issue with him dieing before that as well but that would be quite some work. If this is really something you all want I can put it in, but for me to be willing to make this kind of effort I want to be sure it is necessary first. In short, make a (friendly) comment if you want there to be a safe option for the people that had Belethor die before my mod was installed. 1
Muppit Show Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Sheesh people, not that Hard to bring people back from the Dead zone; use the console commands to go where Belethor is with his ID then use a Follower or mind control spell to make him follow you. then COC out to whiterun or Riverwood, have him part ways and he returns to his normal duties not even like anything happen, just work around your probs; not like game is hard to fix or do stuff with

Type the following into your console, opened with the tilde key ~ , hit <enter> after each line: prid 1A672 resurrect moveto player That should solve your problem. ----- Awesome mod, BTW. five_by_five Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Well, just for the sake of argument then {chuckles} ... one of the things elevating the Elder Scrolls titles above other RPGs is the dynamically changing world on every playthrough. And that there are consequences to doing or not doing things. So the advice "well just resurrect the guy with console" isn't all that satisfying. Just saying. A train of thought like "Let's just sell that crap at Beleth ... err, no wait, he is dead since a month ... that vampire got him back then!" put a wicked little smile on my face when playing Skyrim ... Ok, that was the one side. The other of course is: if one really wants to play this mod, it's a small enough price to pay. Using mods often means making compromises.

Loller99 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Umm....i have a problem, its the first quest of the guild...i should speak to lygreld (or something like that) in windhelm docks, but when i talk to him, he says to talk with the captain, and nothing else happens....i did not go to solstheim yet....

I get no dialogue options to do so. I've tried removing my character's clothes and I've tried bringing him fish. The quest arrow just points at him. Am I supposed to use the sexlab submit seduction dialogue? What I really want to know is, am I just missing something or is this a bug? Oh, and on my previous issue. On at least one occasion when I went to hunt down a [...] I actually found the person when I followed the arrow. I believe the culprit is the extended towns and villages mod. Thanks to all who gave me suggestions on that one.

Thanks to all who gave me suggestions on that one. Removing your characters clothing is the right thing to do, but you need to remove absolutely everything.

I'm going to download the big one though just in case. I haven't had any problems with 666 though.

Has anyone come across the issue with Danior (sp?) in Solitude where he's supposed to be a client, yet he sits inside the ship and when you go to speak with him he says that you're not supposed to be in there. Clearly, he is the one to be spoken to as he has an arrow over his head. I thought maybe he'd come out and walk home to Solitude, but he just stays inside the ship. Anyone else coming across this problem? Is there a workaround perhaps? Like tell the quest giver (forgot her name) that you can't do it?
