Depends on what kind of cutscene you're referring to.

If it's a movie cutscene, then it's recorded footage that cannot be changed by simple outfit means unless you actually change the video file itself.  Outfits not showing up in certain instances are defined in the AssetTable.xml, but it can possibly be due to conflicting mods as well.  It's really difficult to pinpoint where your issue is exactly unless you provide more information.

Alright, thanks. I was indeed refering to the movies cutscenes. So it´s not possible to change them just like that. That´s a pitty but well, at least they are´t the most frequent.
Thank you for you reply.

so any switch users running any mods here on the 2.0 update? i tried installing cobalt and added the downlaoded mods in engage/mods folder and nothing happens. no camera mod or other mods seem to work. i have smash bros ultimate and PLA mods working flawlessly on my switch...  Engage seems to be a tough one.

Make sure to visit the GitHub for Cobalt for more information on installation:  https://github.com/Raytwo/Cobalt

Download the latest release.zip (current version is 1.15.1).

Based on the instructions for the Switch:

  1. Make sure your Atmosphere CFW is up-to-date
  2. Extract release.zip at the root of your SD
  3. Create a directory on your SD if it doesn't already exist: /engage/mods/
  4. Boot game

Also, ensure that your mods directory is correct:  https://github.com/Raytwo/Cobalt/wiki/Managing-your-Mods

If you've downloaded a mod that has a romfs folder, then that mod is not configured for use with Cobalt.

Just nodded my switch yesterday and want to clarify: I have the latest BOAMO version that doesn’t require cobalt. If I install ZFG’s 1.25 pack as well as DistinctiveVariable’s character nude packs am I gonna have any issues or should that all go pretty smooth? Everything I’m reading suggests that it might edit the xml files and mess with my game a bit, so wanted to be 100%.

Hi, sorry if this has been covered--there are a whole lot of messages to read through--if I'm using the KihoOh male nude mod (which affects the swim suit outfit), how do I get it to show on emblems and in battle?

If memory serves, models made by them does not require any adjustments to the XML...just the model files that they replace.

i try every custom no nude show ?

the content of   engages folder is the following :

1- config folder

2- mods folder

3- patches folder

4-  cache.lut file

Dunno what the patches folder is doing in that directory (although it should have no effect), but if your mods folder have all the files in there, then you should be good to go.  I believe the person who created that nude.zip just changed the entries in the AssetTable.xml to use the nude base model (uBody_Msn0DF_553).  There's a possibility that this may conflict with BOAMO's AssetTable.xml entries, but I cannot confirm since I haven't used this mod.

Use BOAMO from GameBanana to be able to equip outfits in battle.  I believe they also override Engage forms?  https://gamebanana.com/mods/424968

It works to equip battle outfits but it doesn't override engage forms or change anything for emblems/NPCs, is there any way to do that or no? Getting the emblems nude is probably top priority out of these lol

@Aphrody Thanks, I'm glad you like them! I'm probably gonna expand the selection in the same style to cover (or rather uncover) more of the casual outfits so watch this space!

@D02836115 - Yeah the mesh at the top of the ass was something I put on the back burner and it just never bothered me enough to go back to tbh. I love the shrine maiden outfit btw. I don't recognise the pieces, is that made of in game meshes or is it a custom mesh?

Nude Alt Updates

Got some updates for the Nude alts, the mesh is cleaned up at the top of the ass crack on the standard proportion, I'd already done this on the enhanced and thick versions but all of these are also updated with downscaled versions of @ropscolic's albedo texture and AO texture (note the nipples are not raised):

CharacterNudeAlt v3.2.rar 3.37 MB · 395 downloads CharacterNudeAlt v3.2 Enhanced.rar 3.37 MB · 259 downloads CharacterNudeAlt v3.2 Thicc.rar 3.41 MB · 697 downloads

@ropscolic That AO texture was just the kind of thing I was after, thanks a lot! I've packaged up the 2 json files for a mesh fix for that business at the top of the ass crack for your higher nipples as a thank you:

You will have to go into the AssetTable.xml and remove the DressModel for every Emblem.

This post was way before Cobalt was a thing, so yes, they files will go inside romfs directory.  Ensure that the directories are correct.

Ohh okay, I'm still relatively new to Engage editing, how exactly do you find/edit the AssetTable?

If using romfs, you will have to find the bundle in the fe_game_data directory and export the XML using UABEA, make the appropriate changes to the entries that you want to change, and then import it back into a bundle.

If using Cobalt, the XML is available to be edited in the patches folder as-is, and once you made your changes, you can just save it and you're good to go.

You won't see this outfit in the Boutique.  The files attached are just the model, so because uBody_Msn0DF_c553 is used as the default nude model, it will only affect Zephia since that's her model.

You will be required to make adjustments to the AssetTable.xml or more if you plan to use the model for everyone else.

Refer to my post on Page 50 and download the patches.zip file.  Then drop that into BOAMO configured for Cobalt.

Hey since it appears you know about assetable editing, do you happen to know which entry has to be edited for emblems? I tried yesterday with Astra editor using Camilla. I had to look her up using her Japanese name. But whenever i'd insert her name in the assetable search bar there would be like 20 entries for camilla. Then i tried with Eirika and she had like 10 entries too, many of them with an assigned Ubody. I didn't wanna mess something up by editing all of them. I was able to edit playable characters and even npcs with the assetable,  but no luck with the emblems so far

As I said in a few posts back, if you want all characters' default costumes to be the nude model, you will have to change every line for each unit that has a unique outfit.  Rather than going through the hassle, it would be easier to just have the nude model available in the Boutique so that you can equip it to whomever you want to at your leisure.

Depends what you want to change specifically about Emblems.  The Emblems themselves, or their Engage forms?

The emblems themselves. The mod i have installed preserves a character's outfit when they engage, only thing i'm missing is changing the emblems outfits. They feel a bit out of place wearing their regular clothes lol

Let's get naked easily and quickly
The principle of nudity is to modify the AssetTable.xml file to change the model name with clothes to a specific nude model name
The current nude model replaces Zephia and Celica's models with nude models
uBody_Msn0DF_c553
uBody_Cel0AF_c580
As for why we need to replace the two models with nude models
Because the skin colors of the character and emblem are not consistent, two nude models need to be made

A simple understanding of the principle may help you comprehend the following steps

===

1) Install Cobalt,
https://github.com/Raytwo/Cobalt

------

2) Install<Battle Outfits and More Outfits>
https://gamebanana.com/mods/424968
Don't forget to install dependencies
https://gamebanana.com/mods/512066

The installation path may be like this
E:\yuzu-windows-msvc-early-access\User\sdmc\engage\mods\00_-_battle_outfits_and_more_outfits_301

------

3) Install a replacement nude model on the 40th floor
https://www.loverslab.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=1715761&key=e19d59e9ad7a13e2e6627090d45c587a
You need to convert it to the cobalt version
Of course, it's also very simple
https://github.com/DivineDragonFanClub/cobalt-migrator
You just need to drag and drop the folder onto the exe, and the cobalt version will be automatically generated

------

4) Install VSCode and open AssetTable.xml under<Battle Outfits and More Outfits>
The possible path is
yuzu-windows-msvc-early-access\User\sdmc\engage\mods\<BOAMO>\patches\xml\AssetTable.xml
image.png.f7bf41cc32749b93f41772fe76ebc58d.png

------

4) Replace the body of a female heraldic with a naked one

image.png.5ec3ee50448fa389bfa6401e883a49f2.png

1. Open the search and replace function
2. Activate the regular button

3. Search bar input

(Mode="2" Conditions=".ID_.+?uRig_GodF1.+?)(uBody_.....F_c...)

4. replace input

$1uBody_Cel0AF_c580

5. Click on Replace All

------

5) Replace the combined body
Consistent with process 4)

Search bar input

(Mode="2" .+?EID_.+?女装.+)(ubody_.+?_c...)

Replace the column and enter

$1uBody_Msn0DF_c553

===

As for how to add extra items like clothes to the game without replacing the original model
https://github.com/DivineDragonFanClub/Lythos/wiki/Custom-models-(Unity)
Perhaps someone can

In AssetTable.xml starting around line 2820.  You are looking for Mode="2" Conditions="GID_Emblem_Name | GID_Emblem_Name;", and you will change the DressModel="" to whatever you want to use.

Here's Marth's as an example of what you're looking for:

Mode="2" Conditions="PID_S014_マルス | PID_闘技場_マルス;" BodyModel="uRig_GodM1" DressModel="uBody_Mar0AM_c530"

You don't need to make any XML changes because I've already done it for you in patches.zip (configured for Cobalt).  Install Cobalt, install BOAMO, and replace the patches folder inside BOAMO with mine.  The nude "outfit" will be available for purchase in the Boutique after you unlock it.

If you are still having issues, please provide more information and details so that we can pinpoint what the issue is.  Also, it would help to know which platform you're on.

Oh, I see...

You best start from Alear in the AssetTable.xml starting around line 2353 and move downwards.  Replace all DressModel with uBody_Msn0DF_c553.

Good luck.
