I kinda managed to add this Mod, but now my Sexlab Survival MCM Menu won't start. Is this normal?

I don't use P+ but I had this issue with "Spank That Ass" and I figured out it was due from my adding in more mods which moved it around in my load order. This has to do with McM itself getting stuck trying to load data from the co-save.

You can try the console to rebuild the McM menus  - this command forces a rebuild of the Menus. :

  • ~
  • setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
  • wait for it to finish - it will message you in the top left of your screen

Worst case if that does not work

  • uninstall Sexlab Survival,
  • load a save
  • make a save
  • reinstall it again
  • load your new save
  • Issue that command:  setStage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1
  • wait a few mintutes for McM to catch up

It should start working again.

I assume you're not hitting the McM menu limit?  I think SkyUI supported 128 menus but is a patch increases to 254 (apparently changed a signed byte to an unsigned byte).

I just updated to SLP+ but now no event animations will play at all in SL.

Does anyone know what is causing this? I have used the SLSB coverter on my animations, and the odd thing this was working for a while after i first updated, but stopped after i tried to make a new save file. (SL won't even load at all in new save files, just hangs if you select it in the MCM, can't even isntall/activate). MCM menu is there for the old save, but I see the below in my in-game console for ALL types of SL scenes i try to trigger (humans, creature, consentual, aggresive - nothing works).

I tried reloading an moving SLP+ even lower in my load order but it hasn't helped, still seeing the same effect.

I'm using SL Framewrk AE 1.66B w/ the latest SLP+ & SL Defeat SSE with the latest P+ patch.

Update:
I attempted to re-initialize the SL install within SP+ (probably the 5th time i've done it), but with debugging enabled this time - getting roughly the same information and no real info pointing to anything specific mod causing the issue.

**FIXED**

I believe i found the issue, it was SLSO-Sexlab Patch, once i disabled this mod animations began playing again.

I have found an issue that when the character is gagged with DD Device, the wrong Voice is being assigned.

E.g. CharusVoice.

When i disable CharusVoice.YAML in the SKSE folder it moves onto Dog.... guessing it will just go down the list as it doesnt know what to use.

I didnt see any -gagged In the Tags so assuming the functionality isnt there / the tag isnt an option? Sexlab Framework has Tagged voices for Gagged but this appears to overwrite that.

Took me a while to isolate this as the culperit after going through all the DD mods....

Also having this problem.  Slightly offputting to just get clicking when gagged.

No animation menu as of right now with P+, but I would assume you have a defeat mod? The old Sexlab Defeat, Baka Defeat, and Bane Defeat have their own animation menu mapped to the (0) key I believe which only partially works.

Baka Defeat, I guess there might be something in that reply. I have uninstalled many animation packs to see if it will cycle quicker but no difference. in any case the speed that it starts animations is worth not being able to manually select the animation pack.

When using SL P+ and i try to use the target self spell (or just initialize any action) i get a notif that it "failed to start scene". Works perfectly without SL P+ and just using SLAL. Had it working a bit ago with no problems and after i updated my modlist and redid everything it just doesn't work. Any help (or guesses) are appreciated

Need some honest opinions here, but do you all convert your Form 43 animations to Form 44, or have you all left it at Form 43 without any issues?

Leave 'em.

I have some LE mods that I can play out of the box. Others might need the textures, meshes, or even animations converted (I use Cathedral Assets Optimizer for that, if you're interested.) but not the .esp.

You might see a flag/warning in your mod manager that the mod is for a different game because technically it is. However, as far as the .esp's go, SSE is backwards compatible. FWIW, I currently am running over 20 Form 43 mods in my current pt.

I installed everything according to the instructions but my log file is filled with entries like this.

[alias ActorAlias001 on quest SexLabThread00 (0A061EEF)].sslActorAlias.ResetEnjoymentVariables() - "fmhzfnwrexekkxcth" Line ?
    [alias ActorAlias001 on quest SexLabThread00 (0A061EEF)].sslActorAlias.Initialize() - "fmhzfnwrexekkxcth" Line ?
    [SexLabThread00 (0A061EEF)].sslThreadController.Initialize() - "qesawhhpramowotcup" Line ?
    [SexLabQuestFramework (0A000D62)].sslthreadslots.StopThread() - "nmjvqwblgemlnhmowg" Line ?
    [SexLabQuestFramework (0A000D62)].sslthreadslots.stopAll() - "nmjvqwblgemlnhmowg" Line ?
    [alias playerAlias on quest SexLabQuestFramework (0A000D62)].sslSystemAlias.OnPlayerLoadGame() - "jepabsdzpojxavcrgs" Line ?

I have absolutely no idea of what to do with it other than go back to the real sexlab.

Hi, thank you for your great work on this mod. I ran into a little problem which I have found someone else has as well, but it didn't get resolved so I will ask it again.

Whenever I have a human to human animation (creatures do not have this problem), when going to stage 2, the actors switch position. This is most notable with FM animations, but it happens on FF animations as well. Creatures do not seem to have this issue.

I noticed when pressing 'O', the newly selected animations do not switch position and everything works as intended.

I used the matchmaker to test it and tried different animations from different sets and they all have the same issue.

Is there any fix I do not know of?

i am encountering a issue where Sexlab P+ shows the anims there but when they are played nothing happens just static standing around

This is my 5th attempt trying Sexlab P+.  I have never gotten animations to work.  I have the original animation files along with the slsb files.  I do not have SLSO installed.  I have run pandora which recorded 39K animations which is about right as I had about half that when I was using FNIS and regular Sexlab.  I am starting a new game.  There is a mod I want to use that requires P+.  If this attempt can't be resolved, I will go back to SL and SLAL because it just works.  Slower, but works.

OK, followed the instructions linked on the first page.  No animations.  Made sure none of the incompatible mods were loaded.  Removed all but Billy's animations.  Reran the mod for animations for SLSB and told it to only incluse Billy's.  Reran Pandora.  Pandora was still picking up all those other animation packs I had removed.  Deleted my Skyrim Special Edition folder to make sure it had no rements of any mods I had removed.  Reinstalled Skyrim.  Reinstalled my mods.  Reran Pandora.  Again, only Billy's animations and only Billy was selected in the SLSB pack.  Started a new game.  No animations still.

OK, after trying a bunch of stuff, even deleting every mod except the requirements for this mod, starting a new game, NO ANIMATIONS would work.  If you can get it to work, good on you, but I am done trying.

Did you convert the animations with the SLSB Coverter? IT is required, otherwise no aniamtions will play.

I've still ahd issues with a lot of ZAZ animations (and a few others) but that seems to be an issue with how some animations are scripted not being compatible with SLP+

Dear all,
I have problem with sexlab p+ and creature animations (human animations work fine).
When player's gender is female, animation starts, but actors stay in T-pose.
When player's is futa, animation does not start at all!
Could you kindly help me to find out what is wrong?
I use Pandora for animations generation.

As far as i see, mods related to creatures animations (MoreNastyCrittersSE, CreatureFrameworkV, FNIS SE creature) installed properly.

(I hope i attached proper log file)

Those having animation issues:

Follow the github directions to.the.letter.  Do not use SLAL or any of its animation sets.  Use only the SLSB Packs listed on the link.

This is a WIP, but it can easily be made to (mostly) work.

To Scrab or MissCorruption or anyone else, actually, I have a couple of issues/questions with the latest Discord sexlab-wip-releases (12.13.5 and 12.14.0).

I didn't see an appropriate comment thread and didn't want to clutter up the dev threads:

1)  Position hotkeys have apparently been removed.  Assuming they're 'no longer necessary' for the most part, I would like to suggest that at least actor separation be retained so that variable schlong lengths can be accommodated.  Smaller characters cannot reach their targets.

2) WASD keys have unnecessarily been given double duty.  It seems unreasonable to have to keep toggling in and out of freecam just to change animation speed.  Particularly since Num3 is shared by SkyUI.

I understand that branching is currently an unimplemented feature, and I'm curious how that might work, but it too should not require freecam toggling.

It's likely these are just proof of function versions, but I saw no disclaimers regarding the feature changes.  Apologies for any misunderstanding.

------------------------------

Finally, I've seen several comments elsewhere regarding shared problems with some SLEN options (eg orgies), and animation issues centered around the Male/Female/Futa tags.

None of this is meant as a complaint, you've made great strides after taking on a huge challenge - all the best and thanks.

@Castoli : You're unlikely to get an answer to that question, either.  Latest (yesterday) converter on Discord:  Automated.SLSB.Conversions.v0.9b.7z

You may have to register for the Citadel discord, invite is on the first page here.

@korkibuchek  Among other things, your log seems to show you need to move to at least version 2.12.0 of P+ (the one here).  Newer wips are available on Discord [see my earlier comments].  Be careful to match which Skyrim version you're running - most of these are for 1.6.1170 but nonAE 1.5.97 versions are around , too.

Figured it out, more or less. A script can somehow break and it bakes into your save, so even reinitializing the mod does nothing. I went nuclear on my save and deleted all instances of the script that was mentioned in my papyrus log(16061EEF) and then reinitialized the mod. It worked and seemingly no issues or errors with this method. Still, no clue what caused this in the first place.

Could you expand on that?

I am about to give up on P+.

At this point, Sexlab 1.66b works, but if I enable P+ I get the error above "...failed to add actor"

Kind regards

Hey all, I finally got around to trying out Sexlab P+ and I have to say it's great! My only issue is that creatures don't seem to animate. My female character does, but not the creatures themselves. I used a random wolf as a test. I have MNC and the Creature Framework installed as well as OSL Aroused. All creature animations from the various SLAL/SLSB packs have been checked on during installation, and yes I'm using Automated SLSB Conversion 0.9. All mods including Pandora are up to date, I've enabled "Allow Creature Animations" in the Sexlab MCM, and I know Sexlab P+ works because vanilla sex animations work. It's just creatures failing to animate. So I just wanted to know how to go about fixing this, or if creatures are simply not supported yet? Thanks!

UPDATE: After some more testing, I do have some good news and bad news. The good news is that creature sex animations do indeed work! The bad news is that for some reason wolves and dogs do not. I don't know if other creatures are affected, but so far from my limited testing they're fine except for the canine animals.

so... no problems installing it?  It just... worked?

We all enjoy the free content and the constant improvements/bug fixes, but the lack of information/documentation is a PITA sometimes.  When things work... great!  When they don't.... :(

I can't use P+  I get a message in my console about finding actors:
"[Sexlab] Thread[0] - FATAL - Failed to add Actor -- they were unable to fill an actor alias"

Not even sure where to look.  My papyrus logs grow pretty fast, but I do not see a specific reference of Actor and Sexlab.  What should I be looking for?

I'm not sure if my situation is the same as yours and not sure how can I elaborate further.

Download ReSaver from NexusMods(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5031)

Check your Papyrus log and whatever logs you make your game do. As in my example, it should show the whole thing that fails to work. Something like "Script XXXXXX added actor - added actor - etc - etc - "...failed to add actor"

Then backup your save, open it in ReSaver, use the search function to find the XXXXXX ID of that script and just nuke it from your save. There's a function like "delete", not just "disable". There are multiple instances, just go nuclear on it how you can.

Then when you launch the game, press "Reinstall SexLab" or how it's called in debug, the function to reinitalize it again. That fixed it for me, but your situation might be different. If you're only just installing, maybe you didn't convert animations or whatever, which is explained in SexLab P+ instructions.

I ended up starting a new save... everything worked on the first try.
