vaultbait Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Just a quick check-in to say that I'm still working on making RMR and SUP F4SE optional, though there is a recent semi-working build of SUP F4SE at https://github.com/Datanomicron/SUP-F4SE-NG/releases/tag/v0.77 I'm testing to see if that can provide a stepping-stone for AE installs in the meantime. I'm definitely still around, just not all that useful and still coming up to speed after the AE update derailed some of my in-progress work. See for my recent status update.

I installed the Sup FS for NG from the link you gave, tho UC says it can't find it upon a game load. Is that to be expected? Will your mod work with this setup even with the warning poping up? EDIT: Never mind, I can't intall Sup FSE next gen or normal, I ctd on bethesda logo, it just looked fine but all the sudden the game woN't start now. Weird Can the mod function tho on NG? I see. For the most part I think it is working for me too w/o SUP. What I am not sure about is if my pc is gainning weight from foods. How could I check that? I have loging enabled, but I only gained weight from sleeping so far. Also only jumping, high heels and moderate activites show in the log, sprinting and running does not. Is that normal?

SUP F4SE is used to read the text files that contain the lists of all the fat gain/loss consumables and similar references. The debug settings in MCM should allow you to turn on notifications so you can see when gains and losses are incurred, and to test body morphs. I honestly don't know how much of the current mod might still work without SUP F4SE, but I wouldn't expect it to be all that great, sadly.

I tested the fat gain/loss on food items, they don't work for the reasons you mentioned. Everything else works fine. Would it be possible to use RobCo patcher to inject the txt data into the game intead of SUP?

However, I don't recall what else I might have used SUP F4SE functions for, probably at least in player busy detection routines to avoid some sorts of potential crash bugs in the FO4 game engine, since it has some extra info about player state that the game and F4SE don't. 1

This will result in an annoying messagebox when you load your game telling you that Unhealthy Craving can't find LooksMenu. The mod will still function normally so it's okay to ignore that warning if you know you've installed the new LooksMenu version. I'll implement a fix in the next Unhealthy Craving release. I've reported this to the LooksMenu forum on Nexus Mods, in case it was unintentional. LM's F4SE plugin name switched from "F4EE" to "Fallout 4 Engine Extender" so UC may need to look for both names long term.

I've also gotten the mod working on AE v1.11.191 - using the SUP F4SE v0.77 that you linked (thank you for this - the lack of a working version of SUP F4SE was so annoying!) and can see that UC is functioning in terms of the perks / status effects, but the morphs for RMR aren't triggering so my character remains the same body type throughout (I'm using Fusion Girl). I have the latest version of LooksMenu installed and get the error message you mention, and can alter the sliders myself but I'm assuming I may have done something wrong in configuration that's lead to RMR not triggering the morphs when prompted by UC? EDITED: I've fixed it - turns out I did not have the Sliders correctly tagged in the RMR menu (or it was set to Boobs and Butt only by default) - now I've set up a single slider for "BodyFat", set the trigger to UC, and then set fat to max in UC debug menu, and confirm it works. Problem was indeed that I hadn't set it up properly once in-game, despite both RMR and the file page for UC instructing what to do! Edited February 17 by LuckyLynx2216
CSJ Posted February 27 Posted February 27 While using TWB (true winner of the body wars imho), the morphs fail to show up as they used to. First encountered before upgrading to AE, so I suspect it's a load order problem, some corrupted file somewhere, or mod conflict. Anyhow, I'll upload my config for the benefit of other TWB enjoyers, or testing (pretty sure it's not the issue). Yes, it has a LOT of sliders. Less curvy, more porky. Designed for slim/zeroed preset baseline. twb.zip

My plan for the next major release is still to make RMR (and SUP F4SE) optional and add some built-in default LooksMenu slider profiles (as well as basic game engine "weight triangle" integration), so I'm definitely looking for non-FG examples to base it on. FG is of course comparatively simple since it already has a "body fat" slider that works well enough on its own, but e.g. CBBE and TWB the like will need something more complex. I haven't looked closely at coldjsteel's custom WeightGain/SSBBW body, but have a feeling that will be simple to support too if anyone wants.

As long as there's a tool similar to the 'helper' that can make it easier to key in the sliders, I'm not too worried... though I recall doing it part of it manually and the helper no longer works (insofar as connecting to bodyslide at least), so it's a bit of a moot point. FWIW, the whole attraction of TWB is the number of sliders, letting you really go ham with it to get the Perfect end product/s. It does have a BBW slider, so you don't HAVE to, but y'know, may as well use every tool. E: RE; Cold's sliders, I did kinda pursue this mod to get away from them, lol. Being tethered to a custom thing like that made compatibility a nightmare, even if that mod still has some features on the WG side of things that this doesn't just yet. Always hoped the two would merge/get a patch at some point. Ah well. Still possible, I think, just *effort* on a game this old now. Edited February 28 by CSJ
CSJ Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Also, might be worth making a thread here as well; in case you wanted the mod to have a bit more community attention. Make sure it's tagged as a mod.

Ah, no, I'll keep RMR support for people who want to be able to choose which sliders they want. The whole point of having a built-in option would be that it relies on a pre-set collection of sliders/weights that make sense for a thin-to-fat progression without needing any custom tweaking, like FPE does. 1
MoBai636 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 i really like this mod, but i don't know why some perk can't apply to me , such as health can't drop what it display?

Typically, if a perk has requirements they'll be mentioned in that description. Edited March 10 by vaultbait 1

Your mod is fantastic. I just thought about it, and the Perk for health should have been applied, but it actually reduces your maximum health. I've figured it out now, thank you. It's just that the author of RMR has disappeared, and I can't use his RMR Helper. I'm using the latest versions of RMR and BS, and when I launch RMR Helper with MO2, there's no response at all—not even any logs. Fortunately, I manually filled in the MCM values for the corresponding body types, so RMR should work properly now.😘 Edited March 11 by MoBai636

Well, in that case... this single slider-ified version should help. Again, it presumes the use of TWB body + CBBE's skinny slider preset as pre-morph baselne, so some adjustment might be warranted if applied to a zeroed body. I still haven't been able to restore RMR functionality with TWB 3BBB, so I suspect there's something specific to that which might've been broken by the last RMR update or so prior to the end of its development. It was always one of the least-supported by RMR so that isn't a huge surprise, but so it goes. CheddarBBW.zip Edited March 13 by CSJ

This usually happens after saving the game and then reloading it. That certainly seems odd. The health changes are implemented with perks too. The perks are defined in the mod's ESP, and applied via magic effect. Some of the magic effects are reapplied on game load using Papyrus scripts in case the ESP has changed. Script contention with other mods when loading your game could cause reapplication of the effects to be delayed. Usually it's instantaneous, but the Papyrus execution VM has a limited number of task execution slices (100/second I think?) so they can be starved out by other misbehaving, script-hungry mods. You might consider using something like Baka MaxPapyrusOps or Addictol to increase the script execution speed, you can also try SKK Script Lag Latency Detector to see if it's just generally overloaded and try testing on a fresh playthrough with suspect mods removed. 1
I used Addictol. I don't think it's an issue with script lag. I'm not sure if this mod has any load order requirements. I used Xtranslator to translate the esp file, and I don't know if that might cause any problems.

I don't think Xtranslator would cause any problems, based on my understanding of what it does, though I've never used it myself. With Addictol, the max Papyrus operations per frame setting is optional (can be set after installation with the bBakaMaxPapyrusOps option under [Fixes] and nMaxPapyrusOpsPerFrame under [Additional] in the incluced Addictol.toml file). You might want to double-check those. As far as script overload in general, usually the only clues are found by turning on Papyrus debug logging globally in the game and then examining the resulting log file for errors the scripts are emitting. 1
