Hi, I didn't try the creature part for a long time and got questions.

Is the maximum creature level working now without issues?

And out of curiosity, cause I don't like it that unrealistic, will the player be bound by a wolf and the gear/gold stolen?

the creature part is not working for me (using defeat for it), i simply get down and die because my wounds are mortal. It used to work well, you're raped by whatever creature was it, then you could escape normally

Sexlab Submit 09FEB14 1850

Being new to modding my Skyrim, it was confusing to me that the Serana file would need an older Submit file, which is actually provided at the bottom of the page, and then I realized this is probably unintentional. It should probably say "Sexlab Submit 11FEB14 2301" or "latest Sexlab Submit". The actual file name of the Serana file was my best clue.

Thanks.  :)

Can someone aware me of the purpose of "your still in combat" addition??

Love this mod, but that feature is ruining the whole experience..

Every time I try to submit I get that message

The intended purpose is so that you don't get stuck in the middle of a sex scene with things still trying to kill you.

The problem seems to be some user are still getting considered in combat despite the calm effect that should be applied to everything within 2000 units.

That is the part I don't understand, as that scenario seems contrary to my own testing.

For some reason this happens for me everytime on autosubmit. What could I do to fix this?

I'm having this problem as well. Would it be a good idea to disable the "You are still In Combat" situation if "Death-Proof Surrender" and Auto-submit are active to prevent this sort of problem - That way, even if you do submit when "Still In combat", and get KO'd, it doesn't really matter (And you get the proper response, instead of getting a followup with the "Your wounds are mortal" and death.)

So there's a safety trigger for them somewhere? It clearly isn't there for me, as I've seen actual NPCs do.. children. Where can I find the safe trigger?

The Framework has a safety check for that.  Submit is mostly a manually activated mod so some random NPC doesn't do anything with this mod.  You're probably using some other sexlab mod and you're using a killable children mod or some other mod that removes the child flag.

Having some trouble since the Serana Plugin update.

The dialogue to start convincing Serana ("Hold up a moment, etc etc") doesn't appear. The dialogue option appears for all other NPCs. You can still force a submission with the submit key or with the ambush option with Serana and all other NPCs. The shared dialogue for Serana and the Submit plugin are all loaded before the Submit Serana plugin, so I'm unsure as to why I'm not getting the dialogue option. My relative load order is this:

Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Dawnguard.esm
...
SharedSeranaDialogue.esm
...
SexLab.esm
...
skyui.esp
SexLab Submit.esp
SexLab Submit Serana.esp

I did need to add Serana to another faction for the purposes of another plugin (Lover's Comfort), but depending on how this mod is checking for an NPC being Serana, it's the only change I've made that could be conflicting with this mod.

Any ideas as to what I could check for to find the problem? Or any ideas what the problem would be?

ok i recently downloaded this but want to uninstall it...but now my character wont die...she just goes down on 1 knee and just stays there...sometimes she goes down on 1 knee and auto revives...anything i can do to fix this?

If it is still installed, you should just turn off Death-proof via the MCM, which toggles off the IsProtected status.

Then just remove the mod from your load list.

Yeah, everything on that list is assumed as a "Minimum this list, or more recent", which also included Sexlab, SkyUI, SKSE, etc.

So, *I* know that, why doesn't everyone *ELSE* know that, huh?  HUH?! :P

Probably because your list format was inconsistent.  Sexlab has a plus while everything else does not.  Now arguably, most of these don't have another version and Dawnguard is Dawnguard, but yeah :P

That's basically the same relative order I use.  I think SexLab.esm is before the dialog.esm, but that would have no bearing on the dialogs not showing at all.  And basically, there is a "HasVoice" or similar check to determine if it is or is not Serana, so factions should have no bearing on it appearing.

As a test, load up any save that doesn't have Serana already there, in the console, type "player.placeatme ##002B6C 1", with the ## being the hex value for the load order shown for Dawnguard.  Then talk to her.  That's what I basically did to make and test the plugin.

I just checked, and yeah, I do a != 1 on BretonChildRace, NordChildRace, ImperialChildRace, IsChild, and make sure it's an ActorTypeNPC to prevent you talking to animals.

Anything outside of that is a custom race which I don't really care about, so I leave it up to the user to either modify the race to be a child or add their own dependency to their copy of Submit and add whatever race on their own.

Or, live with it showing up.

Ashal has a couple of global sexlab functions that you could use: IsValidActor() and ValidateActor() on http://git.loverslab.com/sexlab/framework/wikis/actor-functions . Incorporating those would automatically give you the same filtering that sexlab uses, and as custom races get forbidden in sexlab you'd get the benefit of having them automatically forbidden in submit.

Just a thought ;)

11FEB14 2301 appears to be ignoring Sexlab stripping rules though it does appear to adhere to timers and player controls, regardless of having set up Sexlab aggressive to not strip certain slots, such as feet and forearms for example, Submit calls through auto-submit and player submit are both stripping all attachment points other than slot 52 to my ability to discern.

There also appears to be a conflict somewhere between Submit and something else in my load order that causes death proof submission to keep the player character in a bleedout loop and the attackers simply stand there watching, this is after multiple assaults have occurred, so all potential assault targets have already had their basic package run, from there the capture and binding scenario doesn't seem to fire and the bleedout loop just keeps going, toggleplayercontrols also doesn't appear to stop the bleed out state from running but does cause the attackers to become hostile again, which then just feeds into an infinite loop.

The only thing lower in my load order than Submit, in regards to anything else, is SubmitSerana, which I added just cause I saw it available, I'll try testing with that out.

Auto-submit does work as intended, but death-proof seems to have some kind of hang up that I haven't identified yet.

I had the multiple death loop issue at one point, first make sure your character isn't set to essiential, also if you are using Beeing Female mod, look for the zip file in the support thread I think it is page 12 or 25 as the actual download link for the mod sets your character to esseintial.

Hit the button next to number one on the left on your keyboard, select your character with your mouse and type in "isessential" if you get 1.00 you are immortal and can not be killed.

So I don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but the serana plugin keeps saying it has been moved or deleted, I can not download it.

I just checked it and it downloaded fine for me.

So I tested this with two other save files; one that has Serana following them already and one that has yet to encounter Serana.

In the file where Serana is already following me, the submit dialogue option appears. In the one that has yet to encounter her, I placed her at my character using the command you suggested and the dialogue also appeared. For the sake of being thorough, I also placed her at me in the file that I found the problem in and the dialogue still did not appear.

I can only presume then that during the coarse of the playthrough where the dialogue is missing, something has happened to cause Serana to not be considered Serana by the plugin (or something to that effect). The things that come to mind that would probably be the cause would be mods; namely an older version of your mod and Lover's Comfort. I can't confirm whether I used the previous version of your plugin to court Serana in the game that has her following me and showing no problems, so I'm not sure if this would cause an issue if a previous version was used and then I upgraded (I first picked up this plugin in Dec 2013). I'm almost certain that in both the files with Serana following me I had courted her using Lover's Comfort, so I'm pretty confident that that mod is not causing a problem.

The only action I can think of trying from here is to "recycle" Serana using console commands and seeing if this fixes the issue. In the mean time, does any of that give you any more of an idea as to what may be the problem?

EDIT: Recycling the actor didn't work; just lost all her equipment and dialogue options. Kept her modified faction list though.

What I referred to wasn't in a script, but directly in the root level of the quest (Since all dialog is created inside 'quests')to determine if the quest is valid to run on whatever conditions you set up.

Those listed functions look like script functions, so not sure if they could be referenced directly like that in the quest check.  I believe what I did was copy whatever SL Romance had waaaaay back when I first created Submit, which was also probably based off the Framework quest entries.  Dunno, would have to look after work.

Otherwise, yeah, they would probably do the trick.

<snip>

If it worked on other save game, then I doubt that her voice file is getting changed (Otherwise, she would never play her dialog, even in the normal game) but instead I suspect *SOME*thing is not valid in the list of conditions.  I'm at work, and the list is waaaay too long to just rattle it off, but I would suggest opening the plugin in the CK, going to the _SLSubmitSerana or whatever the quest was called, going to the Player Dialog tab, going down to, hrm, _SLSeranaSpeech or whatever the topic that has the < next to, since that is the root level of the dialog tree, and then looking at the conditions there and see what could be the issue.

Word of warning if you do, *DO NOT HIT SAVE* on the Serana plugin in the CK, just close it.  Due to how the CK works, and the fact that Submit has to be treated as a "master" to the Serana plugin, despite only being a .ESP, if you hit save in the CK, it will immediately strip all .ESP dependencies from the Serana plugin, making it no longer work.  (It requires some TES5Edit juggling to make it work correctly)

If you do by mistake, you'll just need to redownload the plugin and just overwrite the existing one.
