Theblackfanf11 Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 So I'm new to modding and all I have gotten to is well getting mods to work in a game but the animations are all wack and IÂ can't seem to figure out whyÂ
venomr Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 You should start by getting a mod manager like "Mod organizer 2" or "vortex." Â Also, which animations are you trying to change? Â
Theblackfanf11 Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 I've got mod organizer 2 and ZaZ paired with sexlabÂ

Run FNIS - if that's what you use. Then run the installer in game (last page in MCM).  You can then trigger animations with an npc to test. Just confirm you can get that working before going any further and adding ZAP.Â

You do not need to delete the mod thanks to that.  Something to take note of is when something overwrites another mod. It will show either a green + or a red - on the mod folder if it overwrites or gets overwritten.  Usually its fine, sometimes it matters. For example, xp32's skeleton should probably never be overwritten, unless a mod specifically says to do it. An example of that would be Animated Beast Cocks mod, that specifically needs to overwrite it.  Â

Mr. Otaku Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) Just like RohZima said, do it slow and steady. Adding a lot of mods too quickly and then trying to play the game has a high chance of getting screwed up. If your animations are all wack then i'd look at the animation mod dependencies and their dependencies along with making sure FNIS is working as intended. Read up on mod pages carefully, there could be some settings you need to take care of in the MCM or something. Also run loot just to be safe. Edited August 25, 2022 by Mr. Otaku Ninja Edit
