Schlongs of Skyrim AE - No DLL Version

Yes SOS must be last on your CBBE XMP (whatever else is in your CBBE folder.

 

I do all manual downloads and do my own organizing in windows outside MO2.

 

I do use MO2, but I download manually and do my own organizing.  Then drag mods into MO2 when they are ready to install.

 

(If you are using UNP something or other the same principle probably applies)

 

My mods organized in windows after manual download is 1: mod basics (SKSE,  access library, Patches including unofficial patch, bug fix, engine fix, ect) 

 

I install all that first and test the game in Helgen. 

 

Folder 2 (body enhancements)

sub-foulder (SF)1 basics.... F2-SF1

-FNIS

-XP32 maximum skeleton 

-jcontainers

- Fuz-RO-Do

-Race menu

- fast SMP, FSMPV, FSMPV MCM, SMP-NPC crash fix

- ConsoleUtilSSE NG

 

Test the game: if test fails check dependencies on Nexus and get the right stuff

 

Next sub-foulder (F2-SF2) is CBBE, if your not using CBBE I assume your alternative goes here.

 

- Bodyslider and outfit studio

-CBBE (everything I want and/or need to make work including mucle maps and a texture pack)

-HIMBO (everything I want and/or need to make work, including physics addon)

-OAR (Open Animation Replacer) (some of the FOMOD installment will ask about this so pay attention)

- Paired Animation improvements

- SPID

 

In this same folder F2 SF2 I have 

Schlongs of Skyrim no DLL, and Baka SOS SMP patch... I install these last and keep them below everything else I just listed in MO2.

 

MAKE SURE YOUR BODY ENHANCEMENTS ARE WORKING PROPERLY WITH ALL REQUIREMENTS

 

Next F2-SF3

CBBE pre-sets

 

Then F2-SF4 CoTR (Charmers of the Reach) every thing I want and need.

 

F2-SF5

CoTR presets 

 

Then I go back to my folders for Folder 3.

 

F3-SF1 lovers lab

This has more sub folders I named stage folders 

 

F3-SF1-ST1

Sexlab framework

-Animation loaders

-Animation searchers

-all animation packs Lieto, Baka, ect, ect including ZAP/ZAZ furniture

 

Next F3-SF1-ST2

-Devious devices mods (5.2, equip, NG)

-Skyrim utility mod

-radiant prostitution 

 

This is all you need to see a sex animation. (You can tell SOS is working in Helgen if you follow Ralof (the storm cloak guy) and strip the corpse in the first room after he unties you. A big meaty Schlong will flop out.

 

I'm not going through the rest of my mod list in detail but this is my install order incase something goes wrong.  Always test the game to make sure it works after installing a few mods at a time. Whenever you meet all dependencies or whenever you install 5-10 mods.

 

After I get the framework working. As described I install the rest of my adult mods, then normal nexus mods, then new lands like bruma,  then civil war overhaul. The. Towns/cities/Herthfire overhauls. Then Alternate starts.

 

Alternative starts could be earlier in my install but you want to make sure things are running smooth on all your framework basics, Helgen is a good torture test for the Game engine and your foundational mods.

 

If I ever have a problem I can quickly narrow it down to a few mods (as long as I test the game at all stages). I can also completely rebuild my mod list in 20 mins from a fresh install.

 

 

I also want to point out that I use my foundation list on both a high end Machine and a potato of a laptop... on the Potato when undressing a corpse it will have male underwear briefs on for a second or two before the schlong shows up. No sex animations are a bit smoother on when undressing.

You'd be shocked at what the issue is.

 

Turns out if a given NPC has duplicate armor (i.e. two torso armor) it'll block SOS from making them fully nude. Since then, I've managed to always make sure I'm resetting NPC outfits so they won't bring up any base class armor.

Just fired this up with Skyrim SE 1.5.97

Have not played long enough to figure out if this resolves the issue that I only just learned about with the other SOS SE version.

Aka the crash if you ever move a pluggin in the LO thing.

If that is actually a thing it should have been plastered all over the place that is pretty serious.

So yesterday I installed this on Skyrim SE version 1.5.97,

It ran fine.

 

In fact it ran very fine, on the other version of SOS with .DLL I would get crashes each play session just irregular enough that if say removed a pluggin I might think I fixed it.

But at least every game session gone on long enough would at some point have a crash.

Worse no report on the crash!?

 

normally get reports from netframework about the nature of the crash.

 

So I found that SOS dll was responsible for crashing under specific conditions on a completely other mods posts page, and really the post had no reason for being there but I thought ok lets go see if this is now a thing over on SOS itself.

I had a whole 70 level play through last year, no crashes with this SOS DLL, and so what are the conditions of the crash?

Change the order of your pluggins during play without then removing and adding back the DLL for a fresh save. !@!!!???

Well how am I supposed to remember that alongside all the other things I have to remember about my LO?

An since last year I settled on a LO and NEVER changed it, I did not have problems.

 

Well I have been adding an removing mods to see what I might like to play with for a run, been getting crashes like crazy.

Its the SOS DLL,

Last night after switching it to this no problems.

 

Really should be a warning pinned somewhere about SOS DLL.

When I downloaded this, it broke (from what I could notice):

* Realm of Lorkhan

* SkyUI

* My MCM wouldn't appear

* "A Matter of Time" (puts a clock on the HUD)

 

Somehow, though, CBBE wasn't affected. I attempted to use this on Skyrim version 1.6.640.

K, so even when i disable it in mcm, sos wants to overwrite mnc(more nasty critters) werewolf form which i want. I know its sos because i can disable it and everything works fine. I already installed the mnc ww patch for sos, but still doesn't fix it.

Please remember that it's not often said in every page, but since 2016 when XP32 was at the height of their compatible skeleton, SOS's included skeletons only became left there for when you don't have XP32, or XPMSSE in this case.

 

You do have XPMSSE, so it must replace the nifs that conflict with Schlongs of Skyrim, and XPMSSE comes with a patch esp just for SOS called SOSRacemenu.esp.

 

Your load order may automatically load it after XPMSE.ESP. but they both should be locked very far at the end. Schlongs of Skyrim does not need to be near as far to the end of your load order than XPMSSE's plugins.

 

See that nothing else, like WACCF, for example, reverts Schlongs of Skyrim to trousers for some NPCs when they overwrite SOS.

Excellent!

I'm sure you've already done it, but just in case

Attempt to "Clean" all schlongs from everyone on the schlongs page (I believe?) of the MCM.
Then Restart SOS from the MCM

Then strip a mfer.

If it's still just...objective nothingness and crotches are gateways to another dimension...

Uninstall and then install Schlongs of Skyrim again and pay very close attention to everything you select in the FOMOD installer.

I have had weird stuff happen many times simply because I just didn't get what requirements there were for very specific boxes to tick.

(PS: I didn't want SMP schlongs and stuff, but when I played without....it worked kinda badly. And works gorgeous with them SMPed and I guess it's not too bad, but u know, there's prolly only a %1 chance you might encounter such a specific thing. I'm just using this as an example to tell you how differently the mod can behave based on a variety of variables, ie. your LO and your FOMOD choices)

Heeeeeeeeeey, ik this is kinda old, but have you found a fix for it? some of my schlongs just dissapeared when mid save and when i tried reinstaling the mod all of them were gone.
